Scenery beautiful, I spent all morning reading on the seashore. Recharging for the year ahead.

A beautiful small cove! The Lido: One star. 6€ parking, reduced to €3 if you come late. The Lido is overpriced though, so we went to the free part. We came late and asked if there was a reduced rate for two chairs and they said €20 instead of €24, what a joke! The beach: 5 stars! Crystal clear water and mostly sandy. Unfortunately like most Italian beaches an overpriced Lido limits the access and robs the best part of the beach as far as easy access into the water goes. Just to the right of the lido is the free part.. you just have to walk over a sandy path and down to access it. Then to get in the water you have to carefully walk over rock formations, which is fine, but unfortunately we couldn’t bring our baby in that way and the lido of course has the sandy part. (Bring aqua socks or sandals that can get wet.)You could also climb back over and cross their rope to access the water since it’s illegal to actually limit access to the water itself. The usual Italian beach. I wish the government would require half of the accessible parts to be free, so families, elderly and the disabled could easily enjoy the beach too!! But that’s another story :)

The location is very beautiful: crystal clear emerald water, the shore is a combination of rocks and sand and the bottom is mostly white sand. Good for families with kids. But Lido was a disappointment: it is managed as a money making machine where a passion to the field of business and respect to customers are missing. The cost of 1 umbrella + 2 sun beds in mid season is 24 euros, plus 3 euros for motorbike parking. Which I can understand in relation to a unique location. What I cannot understand are: 1) Bad price/quality for food in the bar: 7€ for a turnkey sandwich with Swiss cheese, 1,5€ for a small bottle of water and 1,5€ for an espresso. 2) Bad management and planning for food: by 13:00 half of the sandwiches in the menu finished already. 3) No toilet paper in the bathroom. 4) A lot of sunbeds, but not big enough bar and amount of bathrooms (1 male, 1 female, 1 unisex) for that many people. To sum it up: I recommend the location, but not the Lido. I suggest to pack your own umbrella and go to the public beach just next to it.

Nice location to spend a morning, afternoon or whole day at the beach. It is about fifteen minutes (by car) from Gallipoli. From the parking lot (paid, EUR 4) it is a three minute walk to the beach. We rented cots and an umbrella. But not before we had a light lunch. All at a reasonable price.

Location is fantastic but the lido bar is very expensive: 2.50 euro for a 0.5l water, 18euro for a salad and a small portion of watermelon costs 5 euro. Drinks like coke are 4euro each. If you are a family, includes sun beds and umbrella (11 euro per person), parking is 5euro, and all this prices are for low season, can’t image what will be in July/August. Prepare yourself to spend min 100 euro for a day here, unless you prepare your lunch beforehand.

Stunning beach with crystalline water. Really really beautiful. There is both a lido and a free beach so you can bring your own umbrella. Make sure to stay away from the bar. Food is mediocre, prices are high, and service is not great. Go to your local salumiere/panettiere and bring your own sandwich and drinks and you'll be much happier 😉

Everything you need from mother nature. Bar is ridiculous with too loud music and prices rocket high with no reason.

Absolutely beautiful spot, cristal clear waters. White sand and rocky beach with a pine tree forest behind that makes the place a lovely place. Entering the water is just a bit uncomfortable because of the rocks but no really need to wear special footwear as a few meters in and you reach really thin and nice sand. The only con is that there is little room in the free area, the private beach takes most of the space which isn't cool and seems to be common in Puglia. Parking is 6€, fair price for the whole day.

Nice place but not in crowded August. Do not go to any lidos or bar, they offer very poor services at crazy prices, do it yourself by bringing your umbrella and food. By the way, the place is nice but definitely not comparable to other beautiful (and, what's more, best organized) beaches in Europe. Who find this beach amazing has never experienced any real paradise beach throughout the Mediterranean.

Very convenient with a huge parking space (7€) and two types of umbrellas with two sunbeds (40-55€). Warm water, small grained sand. Occasional jets flying over your head - Italian Air Force working to defend Southern flank of Europe.

The water is lovely. Also, the beach is lovely if you go somewhere where are no people. Else is very crowded.

First time I was there last summer and was impressed by the clear water. A treasure of South Italy which should remain preserved. If you visit around please respect nature and lovely Italian people.

Beautiful beach with a camping and forest area. There are restaurant and bathroom facilities are near by and the bars have good music. Further it has a sandy and rocky beach. Good for adults and kids.

British guy traveling w italian gf. Safe beach- quickly gained confidence swimming as there was no tide or shore break.rock features have fish and snall birds. Expect to pay 20€ for a set of beach loungers and parasol - wont find shade without one. Expensive ice cream. Flat fare for parking. Bring plenty of refreshments, suncream and entertainment.

👍👍 The fountain stands near the bridge adjacent to the castle, in the part that connects the old town with the new part of town.
