The sandwich was ok but nothing special, the orange juice was overpriced for the size but the worst was the service. They brought the bill while we where still eating and then they come a second time while we were still eating asking for the money. I payed and she brought my change and then she took ours plates without asking, my wife had not finished yet. We still wanted to eat a gelato but after that we decide to eat the gelato in another place.

Bacio and Amarena gelato - pretty delicious but they don’t seem to be real professionals at putting it on the cone. But, what er ya gonna do?

Very disappointing We have been to other stores of this brand around South Italy but this one have the worst customer service since the cashier but specially the person serving the Gelato. He wasn't even trying. I got a sample of the flavours I choose in a broken cone that was half empty. Ricidulous

Ask for a straw when you order a gelato. Its so watery. All the staff specially the cashier looks so gloomy and not friendly at all. Please don’t bother asking questions about the flavours unless you are ready to be greeted by a annoyed server.

I've been there twice...bad service. unhelpful staff, especially a man with blue eyes: bad behavior both times!!! the first time I thought it might just be a bad day, but the second time they confirmed my thesis. service 0

The food would not be bad, but the service quality is below any level of healthy critic. Not to mention the pricing which is shady. Feels like a tourist trap.

We came here a few times. All I know is the coffee and croissants are fab. Good service imo...Can be very busy so don't sit if you're in a hurry!!

Good quality coffee and pastries but awfully short of staff, slow service and bad attitude by some. They never get the order right. Double check your bill to make sure you haven't been overcharged, I don't think it was done on purpose but it haplened twice to us in the overall confusion on the orders.

Awesome Icecream specialities at Martinucci! I like that company really much. Located in the wonderful Citycentre of Gallipoli.

Concerning the quality and taste of the food, we really enjoyed this spot. But the price tags below the products didn’t match to the prices we paid. Instead of the written approx. 4 EUR, we’ve paid around 8 EUR a piece. Also, the staff did not really understand or speak English, what made communication somehow difficult. Thus, on the one hand side, we had very great food - but on the other hand also the feeling of being ripped of.

Food, coffee and ice cream are good, but service is the most chaotic I've ever seen. In order to get take away sandwich you need to spend 15 min and go through hell😵

I've eaten my weight in gelato in Italy. Martinucci was our favourite shop and they have many branches all around Italy with a great selection of gelato and sorbets! Would definitely recommend a visit (or many🙈)!

Ice cream of lots of kind. Typical small seating outside. Mostly to takeaway cakes and ice cream. Nothing special I think. No English so I had to guess what I'm getting. Not pleasant feeling.

Not recommended! The ice cream is good enough but...Our waitress was grumpy and not helpful at all. We ordered Spritz and she asked if we wanted snacks to go with it, to which we said yes. We are used to snacks being included in the price with Aperol Spritz in Italy, which was not the case here! In addition to the Spritz being watered down (this was also a first in Italy!), the snacks cost 10€!!!! There was no mention of the price when we were asked, so naturally we feel taken advantage of! Don’t let the nice-ish looking Café fool you! They definitely take advantage of tourists, especially if you don’t speak Italian. This is the kind of experience that leaves a bad taste...

They try to ripp tourists off with incorrect invoices. On top, the bathroom was dirty, no soap available.

We ordered coffee and fruit salad by indicating what we wanted on the menu. When we got the bill, there were completely different prices to the ones on the menu. We asked how this was possible and just got the answer that we had apparently been given different fruit salad and coffee which was more expensive. It was a joke. Even when insisting that we had explicitly stated our order they would not even give us a proper bill with the right prices. Absolutely incredible!

👍👍 We stopped at this place by chance, I hardly fancy any pastries…surprise surprise, the pasticiotto was really fresh and delicious! We tried the lemon and cream flavour.. I can confirm I want to go back to eat more 🤤🤤🤭 The friendly young waiter Ricca and his beautiful girlfriend were super sweet....
