Absolutely gorgeous, sea is crystal emerald colours all along the coast for miles. A very positive experience, we all loved it. If you are lucky enough to get down here and like walks, there a dozens of accessible places along the coast to dip in to refresh. A very good advice to anyone is to carry some beech shoes to easily walk on sharp rocks and in the water. Also void open sea if you are not carrying flippers, sea currents can get very strong. Enjoy you holiday.

Beautiful spot with the pine forest leading down to one of the most beautiful coastlines and sand dunes I’ve seen in the area. Turquoise clear water and spectacular views of Gallipoli across the bay. I almost hesitate to write a review so as to keep it for myself but I’m sure the locals flock here during the summer months!

Want a beautiful sand beach? This is the place. Want rocks instead? Still the place. Want a beach lounge? Here. Want a free, virgin-like beach? Also here. Five euro/day parking. Tip: you may want to walk a little to find the perfect place. Tip2: after 11AM the sand BURNS, and flip-flops will not protect you in your way out, bring other shoes if you can

If you're looking for a beautiful nature escape along the Italian coastline, look no further than Parco Naturale regionale Isola di S.Andrea e litorale di Punta Pizzo. This regional nature park off the southern tip of Sicily is an absolute hidden gem. The park encompasses the pristine Isola di S.Andrea island as well as the coastal stretch of Punta Pizzo. With sparkling turquoise waters, rocky cliffs and coves, and lush Mediterranean vegetation, the landscape is breathtaking. My favorite part was exploring the island and encountering its population of rare bird species. The coastal trail stretches over 5 miles and offers magnificent vistas of the sea at every turn. I would highly recommend packing a picnic and spending an afternoon soaking in the views along the cliffs and secluded beaches. Snorkeling and swimming in the crystal clear waters is an absolute joy as well. The park has done an excellent job conserving this area and providing walking trails and information for visitors. I felt safe the entire time which allowed me to fully immerse myself in the natural splendor. For any nature lover visiting Sicily, this park is an absolute must-see. I was blown away by the pristine scenery and it remains one of my favorite destinations in all of Italy. I cannot wait to return!

Very nice place to relax with beautiful views and places with shadow to spend the day. Clean water and beach with rocks. Be careful to walk without flip flops. Very recommended place :)

The beach is beautiful, specially for kids (low calm water) but it's better to take a van/táxi service to get there as it's hard to find parking. Also, bring your own stuff with you (including foods and drinks) as there is no bar nearby (just inside a hotel and sometimes they don't allow non guests to go inside).

Is this the Caribbean or not?! The beaches in this region are amazing. It's looking like the Caribbean, the water is so clear and beautiful. There are several bars with an amazing vieuw. You can rent some sun beds with umbrellas, but it's not so cheap, or you go to the "spiaggia libera" free beach. Definitly breathtaking...

Water crystal clear. Surrounding area dusty, dry and unforgiving. There is a small beach but best to find a spot and climb in the water from rocks. Sea shoes useful as rocks are generally quite sharp underfoot. If you're looking for 'remote' Italian style then this beats the thronged beaches heading either north or south of the area. We were here in late July. There is more life in the sea here than in the south but nothing spectacular.

If you're in Gallipoli, this is a must. From the old city center is about 30 min by bike, but it's totally worth it.

Great beach. Amazing blue sea. Take food with you as the food is really expensive!

The pine forest was lovely. The terrain was a bit difficult to manage and the rocks by the beach was a bit slippery. Bring good walking trainers

👍👍 The fountain stands near the bridge adjacent to the castle, in the part that connects the old town with the new part of town. This fountain is famous, because for a long time it was thought to constitute the oldest fountain in Italy. Originally, it was thought that the fountain dated back to the thi...

👍👍 Management is simply great! Staff goes above and beyond to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable day on the beach. Cafeteria has gluten free options, local food, pre dinner drinks. You can order from the beach via their app and book a table in the shade for the hottest hours. From an Italian in London ;)
