Avoid this place. Overpriced and with rude staff. I booked a junior suite with 1 double bed and a single bed. On arrival, the hotel had reserved us a room with only a double bed. After a lot of disagreement, they put a very uncomfortable make-shift single bed into the room and charged us €30 extra per night, having already paid €230 per night. The hotel is also in a very bad location. It is off a motorway so you need a car or taxi's to and from the nearest towns. There's absolutely nothing nearby. Then there was a mixed seafood appetiser, an assemblage that overeaches, although it does have its moments. The low point was the overpriced linguini ricci, this was yet another 'interpretation' — with a gravy-like sauce and served lukewarm. None of the plates were heated, although this is not usually the custom here, any chef knows for outdoor service on a not-too-hot evening, the plates will lose temperature as soon as they leave the kitchen. More astonishing was the owner/hostess' reaction upon being told this: she denied flatly that there was any issue with the temperature and made an uncomfortable scene. I found this peculiar, as she wasn't eating the food, we were, and so we were better positioned to judge! Other issues included a dirty plate for the starter, some inept bussing resulting in a tomato sauce stain on my Covid mask, and a white wine served lukewarm, not cold. In summary, L'Antico Frantoio charges 4 star prices for 2 star service, and a variable menu with some good and some poor dishes.

Ho alloggiato in questo fantastico posto con una mia amica, trovato per caso su Booking. I proprietari sin da subito ci hanno accolto in un orario insolito per il check in (00:30) capendo che venivamo da Roma ed avevamo tante ore di viaggio alle spalle. La camera è sempre stata pulita, ogni giorno. Spaziosa, con un piccolo giardino attrezzato. Letto comodo, doccia e bagno perfetti. Unica pecca, il frigobar viene riempito ogni giorno dalla signora che fa le pulizie e ci siamo trovate un addebito di 20€ da noi non consumati, ma va bene…. . Una sera abbiamo cenato nel loro ristorante, abbiamo mangiato pesce ed è stato tutto veramente delizioso (allego foto). Un consiglio: la colazione deve essere più fornita, magari anche di qualche cibo salato. Servizio veloce ed impeccabile. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e alla mano, ci tornerò sicuramente

Bel posto se non ci fossero state vespe e calabroni che pungevano gli ospiti... noi inclusi. Sgradevolissimo l'odore mattutino. Colazione ricca di torte ben preparate. Disponibile la proprietaria nel spostarci di stanza per far stare bene il nostro gatto in giardino.

28 agosto 2023, per il nostro soggiorno in Salento volevamo una cena tipica in masseria. Questa è stata in assoluto la migliore cena salentina. Location fantastica considerando la ristrutturazione eseguita rispettando l'anima della masseria, fate un giro all'interno e ammirate gli antichi attrezzi e le foto del prima. Personale gentilissimo e attento al cliente, piatti eccezionali con pesce freschissimo, si sentiva il mare. Di sicuro un posto dove tornare per sentirsi coccolate. Il vino della casa squisito e gli spumoni affogati al San Marzano spettacolari. Noi abbiamo condiviso tutti i piatti per assaggiare più cose e consigliamo, il polpo con patate, le linguine ai gamberi, e la frittura di paranza.

Sono appena stata a cena con mia sorella e un'amica. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, porzioni abbondanti e cibo di qualità! La cucina pugliese è da sempre una delle mie preferite (io sono toscana) e questa sera l'ho riconfermato. Oltre che per il cibo, consiglio vivamente anche per la location e per la gentilezza del personale.
