Beautiful basilica. Beautiful precise baroque style, very well decorated. It was constructed by the famous architect from Lecce, Cino. I really enjoyed and loved this place both exterior and interior. I really recommend to visit this place, it’s worth it to stop by while visiting Lecce.

Love it. I'm not religious, but the design of this Basilica is absolutely gorgeous! For 11 euros you'll get entrance to a museum, four churches and a cript. Worth every penny. Go, just go!

We were enchanted by the magical lace- like facade of Santa Croce Basilica in Lecce and the extensive and so impressing decoration inside.

It is totally over the top with the amount of things in the carvings 😂but is a sight to see and remember. I understand it took 3 competing architects and 150 years to complete the design. It's also well worth paying the 6 euros to go inside. It has a much calmer, more peaceful feel inside. There are also more than 16 beautiful paintings. A Baroque experience!

Exterior of Basilica is being renovated so no exterior shot unfortunately. Impressive interiors more than makes up for it. The square in front of the Basilica is also cute.

A beautiful building, outside and inside. In the early morning you still have the church to yourself and don't have to wait in line. There is also an exhibition of talars with modern design.

Baroque style usually I won't appreciate it a lot since I feel it's way too much. But this church is such a master piece, which is able balance the rich decoration of exterior and interior without looking heavy. It's a transcendence accomplish in baroque buildings.

A magnificent church with awesome sculptures. The entrance ticket only to the church is around 7euros so it is better to buy a combinatory one with the rest of the visit points. There is no queue to enter.

The is one perfect example of Lecce baroque style architecture. It is worthy to pay the ticket and see the inside because it's quite spectacular if you love this kind of white tufo magics. The ceiling and the floor are also very pretty and the cathedral is quite big to see.

Apulia barroque at its best! One can easy get lost among all the sculpture of the facade. Definitely a must visit for art lovers in Lecce.

Nice baroque building, the exterior is richly decorated. Interior is a little bit less interesting, but still nice. You need a combined ticket valid to several baroque buildings to enter inside. The price of the ticket was 11 eur.

One of the incredible churches that give Lecce this fantastic image out of times.... You could think even the air is baroque there...

Basilica di Santa Croce is yet another beautiful church in Apulia, Italy. The detailed architecture is breathtaking. Apulia and the surrounding areas have so much to offer that we were shocked that more people don't visit this area. Perhaps that's good though because then it will remain a somewhat hidden gem.

Incredible facade. The sculpture reserved a lot of surprise and you will spend few minutes spoting the different style and easter eggs. You want to visit the basilic, you will need a ticket.

Impressive church - baroque style with tons of works over the columns. Great value on the family ticket: € 17,00 to visit the Duomo, Museo Diocesano; San Matteo, Santa Chiara and Santa Croce Church’s. Take your time and enjoy!!!!

I paid 9 euro to enter here and I am so sad. If they give me 9 euro to see inside of this church I will not go. Now you can understand my feeling when I paid also 9 euro.

The most magnificent church in Lecce. A must see. A stunning example of Baroque architecture. Pay attention even from the entrance and the facade

Regarded as one of the most awesome Baroque churches in the whole of Italy, if not the world. Recently cleaned so the outside facade can now be seen in all it glory. The only downside is that you can't stand back and view the front, due to the narrow piazza. But even so, the exterior and interior are spectacular to see.
