I have been coming to Salento for years now, I know almost every maritime place. Torre Mozza is an enchanting place like other neighboring seaside places. The sea is a spectacle of nature and the beaches are very white. Torre Mozza is a hamlet of Ugento, its particular name comes from a severed surveillance tower cutting across the beach that you see in the photo.

You can find some free parking space or use one of the commercial parking places (60ct/hour). If you walk up north you can pass the Lido Bar and will have a lot of space. If you prefer to stay with a lot of people go south. Toilets are available at the Lido Bars. The beach is clean and has nice sand. There are almost no rocks in the water.

Wonderful beach with a cosy village in the background. A hint of history by the ancient tower right on the sea. A few bars and restaurants where have good food and drinks. Nice stylish resorts with friendly people welcoming you. Would recommend Rivamare residence with Donato who is a great host and knows the whereabouts for lots of activities in the area

Well-equipped beach, not to be frequented in case of north wind

Sehr schöner Strand, kostenlos parken.

Einer der schlechtesten Strände an dem wir jemals waren und das schließt auch Strände in anderen Länder mit ein. Und dieser Strand war ein Tipp unserer Vermieterin....Ein winziger Sandstreifen mit trübem hügeligen Wasser und der Aussicht auf eine Fabrik.Alles liegt dicht geknubbelt,viele machen sich deutlich breiter als sie sind. Keine Toilette, nur eine kleine Eisdiele. Gegen Bezahlung natürlich Liegen, Schirme etc. mietbar. Selbst für's parken muss bezahlt werden.Das können die Franzosen und Spanier leider besser :-(

Stunning sea, crystal clear water. We stayed on a slightly windy day and it was beautiful. It's a shame that the beach isn't very clean, unfortunately the flaw here in Salento is the rubbish left everywhere by rude people.
