Amazing masterpiece between two seas, Ionic and Adriatic. Mix of America and Europe. During August you can enjoy the forest nuts. The area consists of several independent parts that will walk you through the whole specter of different feelings and memories. Very interesting place for families with kids: things to touch, animals, friendly local dog to play soccer to and spontaneous garden water fountains that will cool and make you smile. Very thankful to people who are maintaining this masterpeace.

Super cozy and quiet place. There have extremely large collection of cactuses, shall and big, rounded, tall, thick, any... Rose garden has very strong and pleasant aroma. Green Labyrinth is 100% Insta-place. Very green and vibrant. The hidden garden has a small zoo and underground gallery. Lamas are superstars (and you can feed them. Tsssss) Definitely worth spending 2-3 hours there!

La Cutura is one of the largest European botanical gardens and sits in the heart of Salento. You will discover succulent plants from several parts of the world and other botanical species. There is a Euphorbia Candelabrum that is beautifully huge. There are several thematic gardens and, among them, the Secret Garden is especially flourishing: it was created in a former tuff quarry, with various "rooms" that house several plants that gives the impression of being in a forest and, in the end, you find a basin with a delightful small waterfall. Once, the holm oaks covered a large part of Salento, but today, there are very few places that host groves with these trees, and La Cutura is one of them.

What a magical place! This is a real hidden jem, a small paradise in the middle of Salento. With a 8€ ticket you can visit the botanical garden and see many plant species (also rare). It is super suggested if you want enjoy a day in an amazing place, sorrounded by the nature. Inside the botanical gardem there is also a very good restaurant with a such special atmosphere and great foods.

Visiting in early, July we had the botanical garden to ourselves and spent over two hours there. It costs €7 to enter. Structured around five or so different gardens, ranging from cacti greenhouses to formal rose beds, it's certainly worth a visit and probably a good place to bring kids. A great alternative to going to the beach.

This place is absolutely breathtaking. If you love cactus and succulents then don’t miss this place. All the plants are healthy and well taken care of.

Lovely way to spend an hour or two near Otranto. Beautiful gardens with the cactus garden in particular being the highlight. Friendly people in a very relaxed environment. Highly Recommend.
