The food and the service were great we had the pup with, so we sat outside. The Mothman festival is kicking off, so we ordered the Mothman burrito. They were good.

+ Restaurant was very nice and colourful. Food was tasty and portions were big. Great bloody mary and Victoria beer recommended by the waiter. Customer service was good. - Menu was too big, difficult to choose because of so many portions, menu could be simplified and still have variety. Music was a little too loud. We ordered a small cheese dip, instead got a big and was charged for big price. Maybe he didn't hear us because of the loud music? Other than that ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Quaint little Mexican Resturante in Point Pleasant WV . Good food and service. We enjoyed a pitcher of Margaritas. I had the Fajatis Texacana. Very good.

Love this Mexican place right in downtown Point Pleasant. We eat there often and no matter what we get it's always tasty! Staff is friendly and attentive. Food always come quickly and is hot.

They make the most authentic food at Rio Bravo 2. Their menu contains a lot of different dishes to choose from. Their chips and salsa are so warming, make sure to add a bowl of cheese! Margharitas are top notch!

Very good and authentic Mexican cuisine. The kids said that it was the best sweet tea they have ever had. A hidden gem tucked away in Point Pleasant, WV!

Warning everyone from out of town who visits for the Mothman museum - look elsewhere for dining! Our table was sticky and not very clean. We were excited to order a couple margaritas, but when we showed our out of state IDs (something a tourist spot should be very used to!) the server gave us a weird look and started talking about us with another server inches away from our table without addressing any issues WITH us. Completely unprofessional, and the worst part was the margs came out awful. They were warm and full of syrup with zero tequila in them. Total waste of money. If this was on purpose that's even worse. As I said, if there's an "issue" you need to talk to your customer. When I asked about it they said "that's how they make them." Worst cocktail I've ever had. And the food was mediocre at best. My taco bowl was taken over by the amount of sour cream on it so I didn't get a good taste of much else. Honestly I'm shocked at all the good reviews...

I recently dined at the Rio Bravo 2, a Mexican restaurant, and I must say it was a delightful experience. I'd rate it 4 out of 5 stars. The standout feature of the Rio Bravo 2 was undoubtedly the food. The dishes were not only delicious but also authentic. The menu offered a wide variety of options to cater to different tastes, and the portion sizes were satisfying. Equally impressive was the service. The staff at Rio Bravo 2 were attentive and friendly. They made sure we felt welcome and went out of their way to accommodate any special requests. The promptness in taking orders and delivering food added to the overall positive dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, providing a comfortable and relaxed setting for a meal with family or friends. It's a great spot for both casual gatherings and special occasions. If you're looking for delicious Mexican cuisine served with a smile, Rio Bravo 2 is a fantastic choice. The combination of great food and friendly service makes it a restaurant worth visiting again and again.

The food here is really delicious! I got combo with a taco, burrito and enchilada - get the red sauce, it had a great flavor. Husband got the chori pollo - chicken with chorizo and cheese. So tasty! It may have been the only place to eat, but I am so glad we tried it.

The restaurant itself is beautiful with a classic Mexican restaurant feel. Our service was wonderful and fast, and the food was absolutely delicious and well priced. Highly recommend if you're in town visiting the Mothman Museum!

Service was pretty good. But every building in point pleasant just smells. I never leave reviews but I've been to a million Mexican restaurants and this place was the worst. The beef tasted like chef boyardee and the salsa was pretty bland. For some reason the cheese was waxy. Additionally the food was cold. If it weren't for the fact that ethnic food tends to be cheap then I would leave a worse review. The waiter was great though👍

Looking for some authentic Mexican food in the middle of Mothman madness? This is your place! A little family owned shop and we got awesome service despite the madness of the Festival. I had ground beef tostada and a bean one and their beans are as real as it gets. Fresh chips and salsa served and a cozy atmosphere with the decorations.

Good grief, this place was busy! After talking with a staff member, we learned that they were short-staffed and one of their servers ran to the back of house to cook. Almost every table was full. Crazy situation. All this to say: we probably didn't get to see Rio Bravo 2 at its best. The food was mediocre. My wife liked the veggies in her Pollo Adobe, but the chicken was tough and overcooked. My Special Chimichanga was okay, but it didn't quite live up to its name. The chicken was well-seasoned, but that was the most enjoyable part. If red were a color, the rice would have been awesome. But we liked our server and the place seemed popular with the locals. We saw the owner of the Mothman Museum grabbing some food to go. Maybe go when it's not as busy. It was crowded even after the post-church rush.

Lovely place in the middle of a town that would remind the set of the movie, food pretty good with a lot of choices.

Delicious carnitas! Tender and tasty. Our son devoured his beef tacos. Chips were the only disappointment.

The food was good. It did take a while to be seated, and when they brought out the food, they didn't have the complete order. My sons food came out last and it was the simplest of the orders. Other than that the prices are fair and the food is good and hot when you get it.

The service is good. people are kind. The food is not authentic and would not survive anywhere else. I had a chile relleno that was more of an eggy crepe. Skip that item all together.

I instantly love this place. It's pretty, clean and they have a very friendly and helpful staff. Not to mention the food! THE DELICIOUS FOOD!! I mean, it's just fantastic. Delicious, authentic flavors and the portion sizes are so generous. Go ahead, get the carnitas quesadilla and I dare you to try and finish it without having to get a to go box. It was huge, packed with meat that just had an incredible flavor. The next time I had arroz y camarones and the combination with queso and seasoned mushrooms was to die for. It also boasts a delightful little front opening onto the beautiful old street part of town. So enjoy a nice walk looking at the historic buildings and shops after your meal. I'm going to come back again and again to keep trying items all over their menu. Sincerely, when someone next says to you "What shall we do for dinner?" Go try Rio Bravo 2, you will not be disappointed.

Great food, fun margaritas, and wonderful service! I'm from Arizona passing through the area and was pleasantly surprised to find food that reminded me of home. I'll definitely be back for the enchiladas rancheras!

Price was reasonable, but the margaritas didn’t come with salt, they got mine and all of the table next to me’s order wrong, and the tacos were soggy and cold. The enchiladas sauce was kinda gross and their was a very long wait. The chips were good tho!

Adorable little restaurant. Happened upon this place as we were walking around town after visiting the mothman museum. Hands down the best Mexican food we have ever had. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back.

Not fancy but great service and food! The more mature waitress is helping my granddaughter with her Spanish (initiated by a five year old)! I cannot recommend one thing because it’s all great! They get busy after Sunday service.

A cute little authentic family owned restaurant. We had the fajitas and the burrito platter. The flavors were more subtle that standard Mexican restaurants, but still flavorful. Their house made salsas ( you get mild with chips as a starter and their house made hot you have to request) were excellent. The free chips were house made, light, crisp and warm when brought to the table. They give you a carafe of salsa and individual bowls to pour "your" salsa in. Overall a good dining experience.
