I have a few things to say about my stay with this hotel. 1. First and foremost, the rooms are lovely. Very clean and spacious. Wonderful shower. Plenty of TV channels. Comfortable, soft beds. 2. Some people should not work in hospitality, and the overnight check in lady is one of those people. She seemed rude and not the least bit welcoming at all during check in. 3. I always inspect my hotel room before bringing my belongings in. Under the sheets in one of the beds, I found a bug which I automatically assumed was a bed bug, but I now think may have just been a carpet beetle. Either way, bugs don't belong in beds. I brought it in a kleenex down to the check in lady. In a very condescending tone, she said she had never seen one before. Didn't bother to apologize for the inconvenience. She asked what I wanted to do and I said I wanted another room. She grudgingly gave me another room. 4. Do not be fooled by the pictures of the outside of the building like I was. Yes, it looks great. But it is in a VERY shady part of town. The safety of this location is questionable at best. We checked in around midnight and I saw a few sketchy characters walking by the hotel. Gallup in general is not a very safe town, with the chance of being victim of a violent or property crime is 1 in 17. The hotel should take this into consideration and have a security gate around the parking lot. They certainly charge patrons enough to fund one. I would not feel safe walking in the parking lot alone at night. 5. This hotel is way too overpriced considering the unsafe location and the fact that the pool is not currently open.

Stayed a night here whilst driving Route 66. Other than some additional chairs in the reception area, I fail to see how the hotel achieves its ‘plus’ status. Gym equipment broken. Swimming pool empty. Noisy rooms. No fresh or hot water at breakfast Complete failure by the breakfast employee to replenish the food. Instead she spent most of the time chatting to different guests, sometimes seated at their tables, or disappeared altogether. I personally emailed the hotel manager and completed the BW request for a review. Almost a week later, no response from the manager from my email. I’ve only received an (outdated) automated response about Covid measures! Avoid.

My wife had spent a good amount of money to reserve us and some friends two rooms, but when we arrived, they said the money was only to hold the rooms, not pay for them, so we had to pay more money to actually have our rooms, (we didn't have a lot of extra money for our trip.) But we paid anyway, got our rooms. They were nice, nothing extravagant, but they were clean and decent. Not a bad place to go, but the service was lackluster. They should have explained that to her before she paid. Overall it was alright. Nice enough beds. I'd sleep there again, but they can do better.

Decent price. Not as new or clean as their listings want you to think. Employees were friendly. Rooms were clean, breakfast was pretty good. However when asked if the area was safe, the woman at the front desk straight forward said that if you leave your car unlocked or things out or in the bed of your truck that some of the locals will steal them. Not very comforting and if they know that why do they not have gates along with the fences for the parking lot? And the pool and hot tub were still closed which my wife and I were looking forward to. When asked the woman at the front desk said they were waiting on parts... If the hotel wanted to actually fix it them they would have by now, so don't expect them to be fixed any time soon. We stayed because we already paid which was a mistake on our part, but thankfully we didn't have our vehicle or trailer messed with. For a few dollars more, I would stay somewhere nicer and in a better location.

Pleasant stay, guest room was very spacious and comfortable. Front desk was polite and accommodating with a late check-out request. Kitchen could have been a bit cleaner and items to wash dishes with (sponge, soap, dish rag, towels, etc.) would have made the stay perfect. Overall would definitely stay again.

I felt that I needed to check my vehicle constantly while I stayed here. The neighborhood is sketchy and the hotel security is lackluster. The pool is closed and it looks like it has been for sometime. That fact should be stated on Google's list of amenities. Carpets in the hall needed vacuuming. The room was serviceable but there wasn't any shampoo or body wash in the shower dispenser's, nor any bottles available. I didn't find that out until I was in the shower. I called the front desk and they suggested that I come down to get a shampoo. No apology. There wasn't any water in the room, but you can buy a 20oz bottle for $2.50. Gallup is a town I'll skip next time.

We have been staying at this Best Western for years and usually come at least 10 or more times a year but this was our first time back since the pandemic and it was a horrendous experience. The staff was unfriendly and when you asked them something it was like you were inconveniencing them. There are 5 of us so we had a suite with a pullout couch. They didn’t have pillows for us. We asked for an extra blanket so we could roll up with and try and use that as a pillow. We were told no. Then on the room majority of the outlets did not work. The next morning we got to breakfast with 45 minutes before it closed and the food basically empty. The few things they did have were cold. They refilled the food right before all the hotel workers came. I filled out the survey and the GM contacted me with a generic email saying it’s from all the Covid protocols when none of the issues I had were due to Covid protocols. Then on top of it you couldn't even reply to the email as it was a no reply email. Needless to say I will never be returning to this hotel.

Room was dirty, not vacuumed, hairs in bathroom, hair bands on floor, juice on walls, "blood"(appeared to be this)on bathroom wall, brown spots on towels appeared to not be clean and the bed had fingernail clippings& nair on the comforter as if unslept in by last person but bed was used and not cleaned. Parking lot is smaller then most hard to get in if you have trailer may want use back entrance to try pull into spots. breakfast was awful soggy wet eggs, potatoes and sausage (same as all other hotels but they cook long enough, microwave I assume to dry it to proper consistency. We checked in late after long day of travel so just tried to sleep in clothes on top of sheets nd make due

5-Star Rating for a 3-Star hotel. Everyone performed their jobs properly and efficiently. Had everything we needed in the room. Decent upgrades to help aesthetics. Right off the interstate and Tesla superchargers on site.

Excellent service, clerk was very friendly and nice, room was very large, nice bathroom and good toiletries, good breakfast. The detail of the tall back upholstered chairs in the breakfast area was really cool. I like the artwork, I even took some pictures. Highly recommended!!!

Overall not bad. The price was higher then what they show. Our cost with military discount was over $150.00. The pool and hot tub were closed for service. The tub in the room wouldn't work as the drain would not close and the tub would not hold water. The TV cable was a challenge to use also. The breakfast was well prepared and overall a good meal. The staff were friendly but I would not stay here again.

Was passing by and the reviews are real. Very very spacious clean rooms, great price very friendly staff. Location is decent, right behind el rancho historic hotel on Route 66. Breakfast was nice and tasted fresh. They have a coffee vending machine for use anytime and there is a close by Albertsons for anything else. Recommended!

Love the spacious suite! We were able to fit everyone in the family into one (clean, well-furnished) room. Hooray! Had one of our best nights ever at a hotel, followed by a lovely breakfast. Thank you, and we hope to see you again on another trip. (:

Stopped here for the night on the way home to Austin. Nice enough area that I wasn't worried about where I parked. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and it was one of the better free breakfast spreads. A good place to stop for the night.

I can only speak to the room. It looked new or newly remodeled. We stayed in the queen suite with kitchen. It was all very nice and the beds were comfortable. Memory foam mattresses. Cleanest hotel we stayed at on our trip to Cali. We were only there for one night so we didn't make use of any other facilities or even take time for breakfast

The beds were comfortable enough. The pillows were small yet fluffy. The sheets felt fresh and crisp. The bathrooms were fairly clean; the tub, sink, and toilet looked sparkly, but the floors needed sweeping around the floorboards. Breakfast was fine, with waffles, toast/donuts, cold cereal, potatoes, sausage, and light, fluffy scrambled eggs available. The eggs were better than at many hotel breakfasts.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice. The surrounding area is a little depressed, but our vehicle was safe.

I wish I could tell about the rooms here, but all I can tell you about was the horrible customer service we received. We booked online with Hotellogic. Paid and had confirmation emails, yet were told that the bookings were not in their system. After speaking with the on line service center, we were told that they would contact us to clarify the issue. In the mean time i asked if the hotel had any rooms available, and yes they did. lesser rooms for more money, i said fine, but could they refund the cost if the online reservation came through? No was the answer. Needless to say i still am not sure in what world that charging someone twice for one stay was acceptable. avoid this place! stay anywhere else in Gallup! So, you did receive our reservation??? That’s awesome that you refunded the money, but the damage was already done from your lack of common sense and disregard for your customers. I still recommend any other motel in Gallup! After a 2 hour search we found a room at the sleep inn. Their breakfast was incredible!!!

We stopped here on our travels. We stayed one night. Our room had a king bed. The bed was really comfortable. Pillows were okay. Our room looked like it needed some maintenance to fix the toilet seat that wobbled, touch up the chipped tub, and fix the wall by the tub that looks like a really bad patch job wad done. Breakfast was good. We wish they had yogurt too but their selection was decent. They had eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, toast etc. Staff was really nice and helpful. It was also nice and quiet. We would stay here again.

Great hotel great breakfast if there is any left when you get there. They are supposed to have breakfast until 10:00 but that doesn’t mean they will have much left by 9:15. They said getting refills Never came. Where is the pool? Stayed there in Sept and again on Dec. Pool still closed. Waiting for a “part”. Will it ever open. Warm clean and inviting. Rooms are large and comfortable

Please be ready for aunts beds . I’m hundred percent sure they can’t replace the bed sheets when guest check out . I requested to city of Gallup they need to come and inspected throughout the rooms . They need to send their peoples as a guest and stay night and get aunts experience on their bed . Best western please change your hotel name to aunts western hotels. Health department State of New Mexico need to come because they use the same bed sheets again and again. Hotels owners just make money from hard work customers they travels around the country. Please charge extra 10$ and hire good pets control greedy owner you can’t take money with you all your life . Be a people person greedy owner .

Higher prices than most Best Westerns and the pool was not available. The kids would have enjoyed that after traveling in the car for hours. That's why I can't give a full 5 stars. The staff were very nice.

I had been driving for most of the day. Was getting tired so at one of my stops I got on the app and booked my room. I let them know I would be a late arrival. When I got there the front desk clerk was quick to get me checked in so I could get some sleep. The room was super clean. The bed was very comfy. Will definitely be staying there on my way back home.

Nice Clean room, check in smooth. Would be 5 star but I didnt like the bedding , it was tucked in very tight and it was not very comfortable for me. My wife had no problem with it. She slept great. Everything else was very nice. Even the breakfast was pretty good. ( Average hotel Breakfast). Very nice rooms, Lobby very nice as well as breakfast area.
