The room was nice. Most of it was really clean except the toliet was disgusting with you know what behind the lid part and hair in the sink. I expect better. The trash cans had no liners. Breakfast was just OK, nothing I could eat. Wish they had Bananas or potatoes or bacon.

Great Staff, Great Facility, Great Location. Pros: Staff we're all welcoming, friendly, and professional. The facility is on the newer side and well-maintained. Although between the highway and railroad tracks, didn't hear a thing; and I'm a light sleeper. Bedding was soft and extremely comfortable. And the Denny's next door is convenient. Cons: (It was hard find) Gym and pool were closed till further notice. Breakfast, although happy to return to a hot breakfast (instead of the grab-n-go), was a bit lacking. The cheese omelet was bland and gravy for biscuits and gravy, was watery and bland. Low water pressure, although adjustable shower head can increase pressure.

The room was nice. Although every time, we have to ask for additional coffee. There is only on regular and one decaf. The downstairs elevator button appeared to be broken. They were slammed because of an accident and delays on the freeway. I was glad we had planned ahead and made a reservation. This time seemed about $30 more than last time but we had a room that was comfortable. The air conditioner didn't blow very strong. All of this we should have reported to them but after sitting for 2 hours in the same spot in traffic, we were exhausted.

Spent six nights here. Hotel was very well run. My room and the common area were super clean. The staff was very friendly and the housekeeping team was helpful, unobtrusive and always very nice. I would highly recommend this property. It might be a little inconvenient if you wanted to walk into Gallup itself but it's perfect for interstate travelers and those that didn't mind driving five minutes into Gallup.

A nice hotel for everyday needs. I was looking to stop by for an overnight and picked this based on the proximity to the highway and the availability. Cool and comfortable room, nicely maintained with a decent size fridge in the room, firm mattress with perfectly soft pillows. A friendly face with a smile to welcome even after 10PM check-in is a definite plus. Thank you, Sir!

When we checked in we were told pool and fitness center was closed due to Covid which was VERY disappointing. We had stayed at 10 hotel properties before this and none of them had the pool or fitness center closed. Interesting enough the pool was drained and just had big tubes lying in it. We were also told breakfast began at 7am. We had to leave right away in the morning. When we got to the breakfast area there were about 45-50 people in this small area waiting (Covid?). We finally left at 715 when nothing was ready…no coffee…nothing. So we paid a lot of money to literally just sleep. Also the door to elevator hallway was propped open with a floor tile. I would NOT recommend this property!

Hotel was nice and breakfast was fine. Extremely deceiving billing practices, however. We were told Bill would be 186 for a two queen room which is steep but acceptable. We declined to get a receipt so we didn't notice that we had been billed 265 until a few days later. Shame on me for not watching my money. Shame on Holiday in for gouging my family trying to vacation on a super tight budget.

Very nice hotel! Curb appeal and general areas look very nice. Rooms are not yet updated, but our room was fantastic. Was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff looked very professional and were very nice. This appears to be a well managed hotel! We walked across parking lot and ate dinner at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. The dining room is much nicer inside than it appears from outside. Food was very good and we enjoyed not having to drive to get food.

We had a lovely stay here on a road trip to Navajo country. Probably the best hotel of the trip. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with good furnishings that were in great condition. The beds were clean and comfortable, there was plenty of space for luggage and other things, plenty of outlets, the Wifi worked well, and the A/C worked well too. The bathroom was clean and everything worked well. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of everything. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient, and the location was convenient too.

It has truck and trailer parking. Restaurants and convenience stores are within walking distance. Inside the hotel is clean and orderly. Has. A modern feel. Rooms are spacious and well laid out. Bathrooms are up to date, and the beds are comfortable. Cooked breakfast started around 6:30.

Got checked right in, the room was so comfortable I never even turned on the heat or a/c. This place is pleasantly clean, and comfortable. I would have given 5 stars but I wish there was a little more to the breakfast. Can’t have it all but you can have a clean comfortable stay for sure!!!!! Thanks Holiday Inn Express

Great place right off the interstate. It's a little difficult to find in the dark, it sits behind the Denny's. The beds were pretty good,not too hard . The second stay was good, but we didn't get the comfy bed. We were helped tremendously by Sam and Devon. These 2 ladies went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. We really appreciate them.

Room was clean and employees were friendly. There were black scuffs all over the wall in the entry way that could easily be fixed by a little paint. The bad part is that the air conditioner was obviously programmed to run cycles of off and the lowest possible setting and it was clear that the thermostat is a dummy with no real function. I told the front desk about it and they said that there are no other rooms and they gave me a small plastic table-top fan. The room was hot and uncomfortable all night. Not a good thing in the middle of the summer. Also, breakfast was advertised to run from 0600-0900. Just went down at 0630 and nothing was there. I saw someone working in the kitchen area but we can't wait around all day for them to get it in gear so we are leaving to find breakfast somewhere else. Overall, VERY disappointing for a HIE.

Clean room. Free Hot breakfast, coffee anytime in the lobby. Not a lot of food options close by. You can walk to the BBQ place or Denny's. Other than that it's another exit to get a good dinner. If you're visiting the nearby casino this location would fit.

I liked the hotel with the exception of loud noises thumping all night. I could here the plumbing through the walls. But the room otherwise was nice. The staff were friendly. I did like the handicap shower.
