I
needed
rest.
With
a
checkout
time
of
12pm
the
following
day,
that
did
not
happen.
An
in-room
automated
"get
em'
up
and
out"
robo
call
with
loud
music
happened
at
7:30am.
This
a
practice
cheap
motels
use.
I
expect
better
from
Marriott.
Also,
a
9am
cutoff
for
breakfast
after
arriving
late
in
the
night
is
self-serving,
to
save
an
hours
kitchen
salary?
A
10am
or
11am
morning
breakfast
cutoff
is
not
unreasonable
with
a
12pm
checkout
as
other
Marriott
properties
offer.
While
holding
a
reservation
with
a
credit
card
is
now
standard
practice,
tell
the
potential
guest
that
it
is
also
the
only
option
of
payment
accepted!
Cash
payment,
not
accepted.
This
fact
should
be
clear
BEFORE
the
reservation
is
made
online
and
BEFORE
the
guest
arrives
late
at
night
after
a
long
drive.
The
only
option,
find
another
motel
room
in
town
if
possible,
exhausted,
late
at
night
and
be
gouged
with
last
minute
pricing?
Not
nice.
There
is
nothing
on
the
Marriott
website
stating
that
cash
is
no
good
for
TownPlace
Suites
by
Marriott
or
anywhere
else
online
for
that
matter.
For
others,
a
credit
card
payment
mandatory
as
a
surprise
requirement
when
checking
out
in
the
morning,
again...
not
hospitable.
It
is
simply
self-serving
and
shows
a
lack
of
common
courtesy
through
manipulative
behavior.
Be
transparent
and
considerate
TownPlace
Suites
by
Marriott.
Traveler,
beware.
It
was
a
shame
because
the
2nd
room
offered
was
clean
and
the
staff
professional.
The
1st
room,
do
not
book
a
standard
king,
you
will
be
huffing
the
hot
dry
heat
or
air
conditioning
three
feet
away
from
your
head
on
the
bed.
Also,
the
freeway
traffic
is
loud.
