This place gets one star only because it makes me put one. If I could I would give it a zero! DO NOT STAY HERE!! I've never stayed in a hotel where I had to kill roaches and bugs the entire time. There were cobwebs COVERING the walls. Looked like there was black mold in the bathroom with dirt and dust on every surface. I felt like I needed to clean the room before I could be even remotely comfortable. They should level this place because I'm sure a parking lot would be more useful. Very disappointed that a company like Wyndham would claim this disgusting property. They will be contacted with pictures for sure! Again, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Arrived at about 6:15pm. Waited 20 minutes at the front desk before someone came to check me in. Was sent to three different rooms. With the first two, the doors were were wide open and neither room was cleaned. The third room was vacant but in horrible condition. Dead cockroaches on the floor, a bad patch job on the wall, a hole in the headboard, and cigarette burns in the bedspread. I requested a refund and left. Since I booked through Hotwire, I called customer service that night to finish processing my refund. The customer service representative tried to call the hotel to confirm the cancellation several times but no one would pick up the phone. It took two days to get my refund squared away. I consider myself a "no frills" kind of traveler. I don't need fancy accommodations. But my entire experience with this hotel was absolutely awful, unlike anything I've experienced before.

This is the worst place i have ever stayed in! What a nasty nasty place! Walked in the room and the smell of cigarette smoke hit us! The battery had been taken out of the smoke detector. i asked the clerk at the front desk for another room. She was very rude, said she had to go and check the room out first . then tells us that she is not able to give us another room! i asked why? They had no rooms available she says which we knew was a flat out lie! We packed up and left after 1 1/2 hours! To anyone considering staying at this location, or any other Travelodge judging by the other reviews on this site, beware. This is a terrible terrible hotel and the staff needs some serious training for treating their customers this way.

The only appealing thing this hotel has going for it is the fact it’s not far from the beach. The pictures on the website are deceiving. Our shower had black mold in it. We had hair and dust clumps mounted up on the floor and was gritty like sand was on it. The comforter on one of the beds had blood on it. Our flat sheet was on top of our comforter on the other bed which indicated to me that all room service did was flip it over from previous guest. It smelled like body odor. The sink and counter where you brush your teeth had not been cleaned and I found a dead roach in it. We only had 3 towels for a four person room. Did not get clean towels on the next day. We complained to the front desk and was assured on 2 different occasions we would get a phone call from the manager and that did not happen. Saturday night people were up partying all night in the pool and outside our room. I would not recommend you stay here unless this is your kind of place. It’s terrifying!!!

I booked this hotel for 4 nights. I don't recommend this sh... hole to anybody who is used to be in a minimum 2 star hotel. First, the room floor felt like if you make too many moves in bed you may land on the first floor with it. There was a moisty smell in it. The shower curtain had mold on it. There were, what appears to be, dust bunnies on the light fixture over the sink. When I attempted to call the front desk clerk the telephone in the room had no tone and not working. The refrigerator was old and had a shelve w/ broken rail. I went out the next the morning and I didn't get back until a little passed 6:00 pm and noticed they didn't serve the room. Checked out the next morning and moved to another hotel.

This is the second time I stay at this hotel with my family of five. The location is great. Our room had two king size beds, and a view of the ocean , room 306 on the third floor. I loved that there was a table by the window to view the water while the kids ate snacks. There was no lock for the restroom but no big issue, overall our room was great. Clean sheets, cold AC, blackout curtains.

Office ladies were very nice. Room was clean and nice. We needed toilet paper and more soap that they brought us after 1 call. The only bad thing was we went down for our free breakfast around 8:30am and nothing was ready due to the employees sleeping in nothing was even started yet. Other then that not to bad rooms could use new floors.

Not good, we checked out 2 nights early. Over priced for the quality of the room. No smoke detectors, Luke warm water for showers. The rooms need some cosmetic work and cleaning. Smells like animal poo around the property. I did first ask for a discounted price, since we had booked 4 nights πŸ˜•. Didn't even consider a discount, was informed they could not do that.

The manager at the front desk was being rude to her employees in front of guests. The employees don't seem to have a dress code so it felt like I was just going to some tacky airbnb. The lobby smelled like disgusting mop water. We didn't get any T.V signal inside our room and the telephone didn't work. Oh, and the bathrooms are full of mold. If you're lucky, you won't find a roach either. Absolutely ridiculous for a $110 room

Stayed on the third floor. Wifi didn't reach our room. They are labeled as pet friendly, although there is a warning sign about pets at this location. Stating, if caught with animal you will be kicked out without refund. They do allow service animals. There wasn't a trash can in our room. The bathroom door was hard to close. The key card stopped working at 8:45am the next morning(checkout was at 12.) We stayed one night. All of this in less than 24 hours.

The only good thing I can say about this motel is it is close to the beach. The lobby is disgusting. The front door was filthy you feel creepy inside. Our room was not much better. Some one had repainted but we very sloppy. The toilet handle was about to fall off. Then our last there at midnight there was a fight just outside our room. I had to call the front desk to deal with the situation.

Will not get a room here again. Rooms were decent, seemed to be renovated, but the rest of the hotel/motel was atrocious. Elevator was dirty and sounded like it was struggling. The stairwell was full of bird droppings on the rails. There were cockroaches in the bath tub and inside the bedside drawer. Drunk people were hanging out outside in the parking lot at 3 am, being loud, I tried to call the front desk but got no answer. Breakfast was not good at all. Basically cereal and waffles. In the morning there was no one to talk to at the front desk. I had to let housekeeping know that I was checking out and they didn't seem to care. I expect more when I pay $96 per night.

Pics on the website are drastically overrated. Read the reviews before you stay here. It looks nice on website but when you walk in, the smell of mold over powers everything! Not sure what their deal is but the first room we were checked into looked like if another guest had just checked out! Their hair was still on the sheets! We asked for a different room and it was better however with visible mold, it was not easy rest. Our bed didn't have a mattress liner and stains were visible through the sheets. Needless to say, this was the worst experience ever, will never return -thank god. We didn't think that this would be the turnout with the price. I cannot stress it enough, READ THE REVIEWS!

Can't find a place to start but the price is ridiculous first off. The first room I got was the worst room. It was old, smelled like someone smoked in it (it was a non smoking handicap room first floor) the A/C didn't work and the filter looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a few months. The second room we got was better but we found small jumping bugs with wings and couldn't tell what they were. The floor looked new but like someone poured water and it warped. The beds were made but they missed the top two layers. If the owners see this please fix these issues because it's a shame that you are pricing it at the price you have.
