ONE OF THE BEST PIZZAS IVE EVER EATEN. That sounds like an over exaggeration, it’s not. We just spent 10 days in Italy and this was better than any pizza we had there. Quick, fresh, and amazing service. All of the ingredients are locally sourced in Ireland. Incredible! I wish I lived in Galway so I could eat this every day. 😂 We got the nduja pizza and garlic bread (which was also some of the best I’ve ever had). Truly mind blowing.

We had almost no intention of having pizza while visiting Galway, preferring to dine on local traditional fare. However after several shop clerks and waitstaff mentioned Dough Bros. as a must-try, we reconsidered. We are so glad we did! We had the pepperoni pie and 2 local beers , Dough Brews IPA and Connemara lager. The pizza was exquisite with a perfect chewy, crispy crust. The sauce was a rich tomato red sauce at once fruity and well seasoned. This was a pizza in perfect balance between sweet, savory, spicy, and creamy. This may as well be the only pizza shop in Galway as I can't imagine anyone doing it better.

Worth the stop! I have high expectations when it comes to pizza and The Dough Bros did not disappoint! My favorite pizza is from the states (New York and Texas) but this pizza joint has officially made it on the top 3 list! Loved that All the ingredient locations are shared and you get to watch then make your pizza! Only downer is the small eating area but I get it with the new release of COVID-19 restrictions!

Great food. Loved curry pizza with potatoes. Irish four cheese 🧀🍕 pizza was good as well. The sauces were excellent as well. One pizza per person is enough.

One of the best pizzas I have had in my life! Stumbled upon the place while wandering in Galway. Couldn't decide on one so my wife and I shared 2 pizzas. It's a cute place with a very basic seating area (4 tables, 11 seats combined). Loved the decor and 90s throwbacks, as well as the story of the business on the walls. They also have their own IPA. Staff was great! Pic: Proper Ham & Mushroom and The Peter Stinger. Their IPA

Let me start off by saying I'm from NY and I know a good tasting pizza when I have one. The Dough Bro's is excellent! My wife and I ate here on a break from the Main Street pubs and loved it. Highly recommend if you get the chance to visit Galway.

This place deserves 6 stars out of 5. It was recommended to me by a local. The pizza is excellent, I had the 'Proper Ham & Mushroom' pizza with truffle oil. The Neapolitan base was crispy and full of air pockets, how it should be. The 10-hour slow-cooked ham was superb. Service is very efficient, the place is bright and welcoming. It's a double thumbs up from me.

Some of the best pizza in Ireland. Fresh and cooked perfectly. Prices are good, waits are short. Staff are friendly. Been here a couple of times and it's always consistently good, always like to come back. Highly recommended

Holy cow.. as others have stated, it’s worth the wait. We had about 15-20 people in front of us in line and only waited 15 minutes. We ordered the food at the counter, they seated us, and the food came out in about 10 minutes! Ok now for the food.. The bruschetta is incredible, we added cheese to ours, there was so much flavor and it was a good portion. I wish we ordered 2. The hey pesto pizza was also delicious!! I’m a little obsessed with pesto so we had to get both. They didn’t disappoint!! They were basically the same thing, but there is goat cheese on the pizza. The interior is spacious and they’re good about seating people right away. They have some beers available and kombucha.

The Dough Bros in Galway, Ireland, truly knows how to craft authentic neapolitan wood-fired pizza. Each bite is a journey to pizza perfection, with a crispy, charred crust that exemplifies the artistry of traditional wood-fired ovens. The quality of their ingredients and creative toppings make their pizzas a delightful and mouthwatering experience. It's a pizza destination that captures the essence of Italy right in the heart of Galway. Don't miss the chance to savor these delectable pies!

Actually one of the best tasting pizzas 🍕 in the world …. I believe it rated as 15th best wood oven pizza in the globe 🌍…. Great atmosphere with pop music 🎶…. Live inside …. It was packed on a Monday night …. If you come on the weekend expect a possible 20 min line up wait…. Cheers mate

As a fast food pizza experience I would rate this highly, is this the best pizza I've ever had..... No, but it is tasty and well worth the money. I would choose this over other fast food options nearby any day of the week.

Wow, Wow, Wow. We have traveled to NY, Chicago, Italy and Jerusalem. But this place is the best 🍕 we have had EVER. Again it all comes down to the ingredients. 🇮🇪 I would say has the best farming lands in the world. It took us almost 3 hours to cross from Dublin here to Galway. The Toamto space, 🧀 and the dough is to die for. I love there concept as well as after you order you are seated. They serve beer and wine. A must stop for Pizza. Wish we would have gone back there again. Big Fan.

Oh wow! The Hail Caesar pizza is sooo delicious. It took less than 5 minutes from ordering to receiving the fresh pizza in a box ready to go. Next time, I will definitely bring the whole family to enjoy the experience and history of this remarkable pizzeria. Highly recommended 👏

I'm not sure where to start! The Dough Bros was recommended to us and as pizza lovers we were so excited to try this place out. We arrived mid afternoon and therefore it wasn't too busy. We ordered our food at the till and were shown to our table. Staff were all really friendly. The place is really well decorated and gives an industrial feel. Our food came quite quickly... I got the American Pie and my partner got the Hey Pesto. We also got a bruschetta and a garlic bread to try too. The food all tasted so fresh and it was obvious that they use high quality and fresh ingredients. We have been to Italy a number of times and we both agreed the pizza was better than what you get in Italy! Honestly, if you're in Galway this is genuinely a place that you have to visit... you won't regret it!

I'd recommend this place highly. The food was one of the highlights to my trip in Galway and is the best pizza I've ate in Ireland after living here my life. It didn't take long to get a seat and the interior was very lively. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the pizza was cooked quite fast and you can see each pizza being prepared. The pizza was delicious and their collaboration Ipa is amazing also. If you like fruity flavour beer that is. I will happily go again the next time I'm here.

Absolute delicious pizza that's much larger than you would expect. From what I can see, all the sodas are made from cane sugar, and the garlic cheese bread is to die for. And don't worry if you aren't a fan of their pizzas they have on the menu, you can always build your own! Staff are super nice and very quick they seem to work together nicely!

Real good pizza. First place I went to after getting off the train in Galway and the staff was amazing, welcoming and extremely friendly. Great patience and recommendations, especially Noel’s hot honey sauce which is made by a local farmer called Noel. Had The Pepp Guardi-Jala, which we shared and a Rock Shandy as well as two sauces. Left full and satisfied. Definitely recommend and will come back.

Super busy place- line went quickly- when I arrived there was about 5 people ahead of me and when I left there was a line of about 25 people! Online orders would make things easier however I’m sure they have a method to their madness! Food was well worth the small wait- I love spicy food and had the stinger- and got two dipping sauces which were amazing! Def try the chili crust dip!

It's supposedly the best pizza in Irland, but i felt like it's just a good pizza. We tried something classic and something more out there and i gotta admit i enjoyed the classic pizza more. However both pizzas were way to oily. I had an irish cola, witch tasted odd, it's not to my liking to be honest. We waited a bit for the tap water, since service forgot it, but after reminding them we got it. All in all, if your craving some pizza it's definitely worth a shot, who know it might be your perfect pizza.

best white pizza i have ever had. the ratio of onions and cheese were amazing. not too heavy at all. i would recommend if you wanna try good white based pizza. (cheese and onion) don’t be afraid of the queue outside. they are super fast and efficient while placing people. it takes 20 mins most.

Great place to have Pizza in the whole of Galway (Ireland?) The Bombay Spice Pizza is a must try and tastes amazing. The staff were very kind and friendly. No trouble whatsoever. Will definitely comeback for this whenever in Galway and recommend to everyone. The only minor concern would be it can be sometimes crowded. 10/10

What an absolute gem! Leftfield but well thought out toppings, really top notch dough, great system for ordering and waiting on your table with a drink, just a really slick operation all round. Ive ran bars and restaurants for years so in always looking out for certain things and i honestly cannot fault this place. Will be back any time we’re in Galway. Bravo!

Been wanting to go here for a long time. My partner and I were on holiday in Galway to see her family and we made a point of going here as it was voted number 79 of the top 100 pizzerias in the world and best pizzeria in Ireland for 2022. The menu is quiet 'Irish' but in the best way because everything is amazing. Upon our first visit I had the Stinger and my partner had the Curry Cheese and hers was hotter than mine. If your unsure of what to get the staff will be more than happy to recommend something for you. We went here twice in two days and it wasn't enough. Can't wait to go back.

As Italian I'm in an ideological conflict, perhaps this is not the most philological pizza according the tradition, but - geez! - it is excellent and I must homage these bros with my highest esteem as pizza maker. The fame they got is not undeserved and I dare to say these people offers the best pizza in Galway. Because, if the pizza is good or not, one realizes the following night.

Really did not enjoy the pizzas. One pizza was burnt and the vegan cheese did not taste close to being nice. The other one literally was way too flat. I didn’t feel like these were pizzas. The garlic bread and bruschetta were also disappointing. The ratings on google maps are misleading completely. For €35 I can get a way more worthwhile meal.

We had a lovely lunch by the restaurant's window. It is a great place to have tasty pizza. It must be said that we were lucky enough to get a table. It gets very busy. A long line but the staff handled it quite well getting people in and out quickly. The location boasts being the best pizza place in Ireland, which is very doubtful. There was a decent wood pizza place a few doors down (which was slightly more expensive). In the world, I'd probably put it at a Tier 2 out of 10. Unless you're a horrible pizza chef, it's pretty hard to mess up wood oven pizza. The Dough Bros would probably rate as an average pizza place in Naples. I did like the generous basil.

  • 5/5 Rachie D. 1 year ago on Google
So so so good. Worth the train up and back from dublin for this pizza. Its immense. It was slightly soft/wet/floppy but i put that down to the moisture in the mushrooms. It didnt take away from the taste. Very efficient friendly service, the manager/ owner on the till was working x100 speed and didnt once drop his manner or friendliness. Will definitely be back.

Helpful, friendly, efficient staff. Clean place, good hours. BUT let’s talk pizza. It is really as good as people say. I got the vegan Hey Pesto with the vegan garlic crust dip- wow. This pizza was as good or better than any pizza I’ve had throughout Italy, including Naples.

My first time in Galway and the best pizza I have had since being in Ireland. Grabbed a pizza and hit the docks for the sunset. Will definitely be taking my parents their. Fresh ingredients and the wood fired taste mind blowing.

Easy ordering experience and although it's not on the menu they will also make an a la cart pie. The Dough Bros IPA was exceptional. We ordered a cheese and pepperoni and the Pesto. Both were delicious. The dough was cooked well and it was easy to taste the high quality ingredients. 10/10 would eat again.

The pizza here is a must try in Galway! Love the handmade dough. Soft bread and delicious ingredients makes me wanna eat again and again if I could. I tried the vegan pizza with house almond milk ricotta. This is really amazing and would be the best vegan pizza for me! The only bad thing is my pizza has a lot of “burnt spots” and it causes the pizza tastes a bit bitter. Besides, staffs are nice and friendly. Overall this restaurant is a good place!

Definitely the best place to grab some pizza. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because the only pizza that is vegan has no cheese on it at all and you must pay extra for vegan cheese. They have had vegan pizza's before and it doesn't make any sense why their menu doesn't include it anymore.
