👍👍 Excellent breakfast, very good value too, lovely fun and friendly staff. Not too fancy and new, but a more traditional Irish style, it has plenty of charm. The best spot for a decent full Irish in Galway People often mention good, Irish, staff, traditional, nice, stew, friendly, service, Good,

I have been to Finnegans a few times now. Service has always been very professional. Price is really good. Food was also really taste. Coffee quality MUST be improve by miles. Normally, I tend to criticize coffee in coffee shops harshly, but will let this one pass for good experience I've had here.

Staff was so friendly! Walked in and were seated right away on a Thursday morning. They checked our covid vaccine records and had me sign in for tracing. Kids all got the traditional Irish breakfast. I got the salmon with eggs. It was all so delicious! Kids compared the rest of their Irish breakfasts to this place because it just topped them all. Breakfasts came with a basket with breads. Honestly wish we had found this place sooner!

This place is a must. Food nice staff nice people helpful but the food is like home cooked bacon cabbage to die for. Me and my partner walked round looking for real food 3 hours in and found this place. I would highly recommend ever in galway. Check it out. Won't be disappointed FACT let me know what you think. Enjoy. People

We got a Baileys cheesecake and a mocha. Both very good. The place was small but with a nice Irish atmosphere. The service was a bit too cold, the personnel didn't even look at us.

Nice little spot. Good service and old school ambiance. Nice menu and fair prices. CASH only. Unfortunately, the night we were there, the food just wasn't that good. Seafood chowder was ok... Not nearly as good as we've recently had. Beef stew was disappointing. Not a ton of flavor. Steak and burger were fine but nothing special. My daughter did enjoy her chicken panini though.

["Excellent Irish traditional food experience. We've had the beef stew and lasagne, both rich and full of flavor. It felt especially good since it is very cold out this time of year. For dessert I had the apple pie with cream, and it was definitely one of the best apple pies I've ever had.\nThe atmosphere is cozy, beautifully decorated and with good music. The staff is very friendly and helpful, giving me tips on what to try.",null,[0,235]]

A homey small restaurant very near to Galway's high street. A creamy pint of Guinness and a Traditional West Coast Seafood Chowder: the winning combination which made me warm, relaxed and satisfied in a cold wintry evening!

We’ve been in Ireland almost a week. This is by far the best meal we’ve had. Every one of us 4 were blown away. Just what we needed. And the sassy waitress was the best. My husband asked to be surprised with her favorite meal and it didn’t disappoint.

Stumbled across this place while in Galway for St Patrick's Day and what a treat! Had some authentic Irish food (I'm from the USA, and it is hard to find this kind of food where I am). Had the lamb stew and WOW it was great! Went great with a nice cool glass of Guinness. Be sure to stop by here if you get the chance.

Ah! How do I start with my new-found love for this place? 🥰 You know when you look for those places that bring the old-world charm in a world that's chasing the fancy-schmancy lit stuff, here's where you come. The lovely staff ensures that you have everything you need. And of course, a delight to talk to. Craving for that warm and comforting food? This is your place. The stew, Shepherd's pie, fish and chips, any traditional Irish food is a good choice here. We enjoyed a nice and big slice of Bailey's cheesecake after the main course. The food portions are more than enough to fill your tummy. Your heart may want more though 😂 I haven't had the chance to have their breakfast yet but very soon I guess ☺️ The pricing is fair and reasonable but they only take cash. So you'll have to use the ATM right around the corner.

Traditional Irish fare in an old Medieval age building with friendly service. The Guiness stew is classic as well as the shepherd's pie. Heineken, Cider and Guiness on tap. Selection of desserts are served with generous portions.

Old building tavern! Tables are small and space is limited. Food and service are ok. They are one vegetarian option: veggie lasagna. They state that “cash only payment “ because of the signal at the building, but they try to Pass card payment ( worked in our casa).

Incredible place. The food was very tasty, nice and sweet staff (they brought everything I asked for and were very helpful), and the place has good music, it's calm and beautiful. I really liked it, also the price was really good! I recommend it for sure if you wanna try some good Irish food, and I'm looking forward to coming back!

Good place for typical Irish food. Excellent location close to the shop street. A lot of good options in the menu with a good price of 15.90 for main and starter or main and dessert. Staff very attentive and delicious pint of Guinnes per €4.80. I really recommend this restaurant.

Very nice traditional place were to have good food. We were in 3 and had a delicious Irish Lamb stew. For some reason some vegetables come separate but we mixed all together and came great. Service is good but be aware that you have to pay cash

Good food at fair price. But dessert is average taste and coffee is bad.

My mum and I found this little gem when our coach tour stopped in Galway for the afternoon. We were warmly greeted and after signing in seated at a table. Whilst seated the lovely waitress asked to see our Covid papers. When we placed our order it arrived quickly and the portion size was larger than normal. The food had been freshly cooked and was lovely. We couldn’t finish it as there was too much of it. I would recommend this place to eat if your looking for good food and friendly staff.

The best dish I had in Ireland so far at a super decent price in the middle of Galway! I had traditional Irish stew - extremely delicious. It was 11 euro and a glass (not pint) of guinness for 2.8. They don't accept card payment but there's an atm around the corner.
