👍 Nice ambiance. All veg dishes were very tasty. 1 curry is sufficient for 2 or 3 people. Service was bit slow, for taking orders. People often mention service, staff, Indian, restaurant, Galway, chicken, good, delicious, time, Tikka,

Friendly service and one of the best indian dishes I have had anywhere in the world. This is the second indian I tried whilst in Galway and blows the first one our of the water in terms of service, atmosphere, food and value for money. Would not on the other hand recommend 'Kashmir' unfortunately.

Ordered chicken biryani, must say the taste was really exquisite. Mint chutney with onions and a vegetable curry was perfect combination with biryani. It's a definite visit resturant whenever in Galway 👍

The food is nice but the service was bad on one occasion. A friend asked for additional bag for take away and the waiter was annoyed and brought our food back to cashier showing his annoyance. I despise people who throws food and that's what the waiter did with the packed food. We were so confused by the whole situation and left. Never going again despite it being the best indian food.

the staff were friendly, and the interior is pleasant. But, the value for money of the food is not worth it. The most unpleasant thing was that we were cheated at payment of the bill, there were 11 of us and everyone wanted to pay for their own dinner, but in the end we each paid one and a half times as much. I would not recommend this place.

Amazing Food. Quantity is really good. Lamb dish was nicely cooked and was spicy as expected.

They served us cold samosa, when we noticed they replaced it with the hot one. Overall food was ok. I expected better hospitality in an Indian restaurant.

Almost authentic in that the place has decor from the 1980s , the waiters were all over the place , and even when the place was almost empty the service was as slow as a fortnight in Sligo . The food when it did arrive was actually nice if not a wee bit pricy .

Had a birthday dinner here tonight.we had the place to ourselves but that didn't detract from the dining in experience. Our waiter was very attentive. Food was mostly good. Starters were a little dry and could have had more flavour. We had the veg platter x 2 and chicken tikka for starters. Had 3 curry's between 5 of us which was more than enough. Sorry didnt take photos as we dug in quickly as they were so good. The signature lamb which was spicy but not blow your head off. Had the butter chicken which was delicious and the chicken tikka masala which were amazing. Topped off with rice, garlic naans and plain naans. Rolled out of the place.

Any stuffed Naan you order here , you will get it like ( plain naan + stuffings on top of it ) like bread+ jam . Absolutely this is not an Indian style, even with respect to curries served here ..all the same type of gravy. And here with biriyani you will get sauce 😭as an accomplishment ( veg gravy ) whereas it should be raita here. I strongly guess it's actually a 🇧🇩Bangladeshi restaurant and not Indian .The worst is the vegetable platter here. For me and my friends , it's one time visit only..never again 😔 For the management: kindly improve the way you cook food .

Hungry & wet after a fantastic day touring Inis Mor, we spotted Tulsi and decided to take a chance. What a lucky find! Friendly servers & delicious food. We shared the boti kabab, chicken madras & chicken balti. Generous portions with just the right amount of spice. Too bad we're leaving Galway tomorrow or we'd be back!

Food is not worth it. We ordered Matter(peas) paneer but there were only peas and no paneer in the sabji - no paneer means no paneer at all. Big cheaters they are. Mix Veg had big uncooked vegetable pieces, looked like they just didn't want to work on this curry. Chole Bhuna had dried peas instead of chole. Naan breads were full of Soda, they are using frozen breads instead of fresh ones. Never going back to this restaurant again!

Poor service. No proper cutlery was offered. Late service. No mouth freshner too at the end.

The delivery guy sent by them to deliver my food lied to them that I did not give him access to my apartment and went away with the food for himself. The fact is, the delivery guy never once rang me on my phone and informed the restaurant manager that I did not accept my order. When I rang the restaurant to ask whereabouts of my order as it was over an hour of the expected time of arrival, he just passed all the blame on me and hanged up after telling me to claim a refund from Just Eat. So after stealing my food, I am left with the pain of begging Just Eat to get my money back for their crap. If you can't have a decent delivery driver who can do his job, why bother with running a business? Just shut down for good!!

Yesterday dined at Tulsi, and it was an incredible experience! The food were absolutely delicious, and each dish was perfectly spiced. The tandoori chicken and pilau rice was the best as they were fresh and perfectly cooked. However, the waiting time was a bit longer than expected, which was a little frustrating. But the staff were very friendly and kept us updated, which helped. If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine in Galway, this place is a must-visit!"

Went there for dinner with family and friends, the food is nowhere authentic. So far the worst Indian food restaurant I've had a meal at in Galway. Most dishes were just sweet and all of us felt like we ordered desserts for dinner, specially Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Tikka Supreme, even Gajar Halwa is less sweet in comparison to the Chicken Tikka Supreme.

Friendly staff. Great food. We recommend mixed platter appetizer to start your meal with the Batak vegetables and garlic naan. Would eat here again!

Went for dinner on two occasions. Tried the butter chicken, garlic naan, lamb biryani and chicken pakora. Everything was sensational! The atmosphere was very calm and welcoming. Not too formal, not too casual. Experienced chefs and friendly staff. Felt like a visit to an old friend's parents. Nothing to fuss about. Highly recommend for everyone!

The food here is incredible. Chicken Tikka Masala is absolutely gorgeous. Me & My family have been ordering from here for years. Same great service, quality of food and reasonable prices. I have never been dissapointed with any dish!! ♥️ I joined a friend here tonight on Valentines Day and they had the place decorated with balloons and gave each woman a rose upon arrival. This was so lovely. The plates were warm, food was hot and the Naan was fresh. The waiters checked numerous times if we needed anything & we even got a complimentary glass of wine to end our meal! Thank you Tulsi! I will not stop recommending you!

First time I went there they asked me to wait outside restaurant for the take away but Delivery guys are okay to stay inside .2nd time I went there they denied to give table saying no reservation no table but half of the restaurant was empty.3rd time when I went with reservation but still he denied saying we didnt send the confirmation and we don’t have the table. The manager with beard was not clear about their own booking process. At last I was given a corner table showing attitude and keeping the menu on the table and asked me to seated. I strongly believe this restaurant is running in the name of india and heard that it’s a Bangladesh owned restaurant. They had so much time to check on each table food for feedback but they didnt even give a tissue until last minute when I asked one for it. Totally not happy to come here next time because of treating Indians and showing disrespect.

Recently visited the restaurant and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The food lacked authenticity, with flavors that seemed far removed from traditional Indian cuisine. . The service was equally disappointing. The staff seemed inattentive and unorganized, with long waits for orders to be taken and food to arrive. When we tried to raise concerns, the response was indifferent at best. For the prices they charge, we expected far better quality and service. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. There are far better options in Galway for anyone craving good Indian food.

After some careful consideration, I believe my last review was a little unfair. Actually, the meal wasn't that unreasonably priced overall. At €3/piece, only the naan seems expensive, and add that it was a little cold and delivery took 1 hour 45 minutes, then I'll update my review to 3 stars: just OK.

I have been getting Tulsi regularly on a Saturday night for a few weeks now and have never been disappointed, once chicken starter was a little undercooked but the butter chicken has been absolutely delicious every single time. I am hooked on it! And the garlic naan is always so tasty! I am so glad I decided to order from here.

Good things : - Friendly staff. - Quiet place. Clean and COVID safe. - Customization in menu (Thank you chef for accommodating Paneer Tikka masala ) Things which can be better: - Food quality. We ordered two starters and two main course. - Veg samosa : filling seems to be stale. Green chutney was brilliant. Side salad was stale. - Chicken Tikka : good quality. Paneer Tikka Masala curry , Chicken Tikka masala : Paneer pieces were fresh, however the curry was same for both. Not the best curry in Galway. Garlic butter naan : We ordered 3 Naans and all of them were raw and doughy, quantity of butter was minimal. Little bit expensive as well - 50€ for 2 person, 2 course meal is at upside.

It's a really nice restaurant. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. Perfect to get away from the hustling party streets in Galway

Firstly the delivery was an hour late and then when it arrived it was stone cold and I had to fully reheat everything. The butter chicken was flavoured with sugar it was overly sweet and liquidy, the onion bhajis were like pancakes and were soggy and tough. Wouldn’t recommend

I was shocked at the delicious food, romantically fancy yet peaceful atmosphere, and speedy service hiding behind the unassuming storefront almost in an alley. Ate at a lot of random places on vacation in Ireland and this was easily the best. In fact I think this is the best Indian I've ever had. Obviously it isn't local quisine, if that's what you're looking for, but if you want to take a break from that for a meal, try this and be wowed like us. Allergy/dietary info is clearly and conveniently marked with a key on the back of the menu if you're at all confused. Consider wearing a button down shirt or something. The staff didn't say a word or give us any looks (very friendly), but jeans and t shirts, we felt a tad underdressed at our candlelit table with wine glasses.

Friendly staff and great food - I went in for an early dinner (around 5pm) on a Sunday, so it was very quiet and everything went super quick. I ordered the buttered chicken with chili naan, both absolutely delicious. I will definitely come back whenever I am in Galway!

The server was a little condescending when we were ordering, and the food was all wrong. We ordered a vegetable korma, and it tasted like butternut squash and coconut soup. If you are desi do not come here.

Just an horrible place to go . Nothing positive to mention. 1. Mentioned as if it is an indian cuisine. But the taste is not at all authentic indian. 2. Especially for vegetarians... not a right place at all. 3. Many of the starters are frozen food. Not freshly made. When we found out and asked the supervisor he accepted and didnt turn up to that place till we left . 4. Taste horrible 5.staff not at all friendly. Very late service. Overall experience horrible.

Positively outstanding Restaurant in all respects. The food was fresh, perfectly spiced and balanced. My darling bride. Had the seek kebab Lamb and I had the chili garlic. And the vegetable samosas, which were Chris and cook to perfection, and the paneer was to die for the basmati, rice was aromatic and flavorful, and had just the right amount of fluff. The onion culture could not have been more carefully prepared. my wife and I have traveled extensively all over the world and we must say surprisingly. This was one of the finest Indian meals we ever had. The service was superlative, and the meal was reasonably priced. When we come back to Galway, we will certainly make this our top choice in Indian food .
