Very delicious food and the size was surprisingly big for a restaurant inside a hotel.

The staff were very friendly, polite, obliging & professional. The chicken wings are amazing so delicious. I had the chicken caesar salad too,it was perfect - lovely tender chicken, nice lettuce that wasn't stalky, lovely crispy bacon bits.

A Friday evening at 715pm and not one table had occupants... We should have known not to even enter the restaurant. The menu looked delicious enough, an assortment of local seafood and meat. Starters- My wife's scallops were cooked properly and quite tasty, a little heavy on the lardons. My duck egg was a tad overcooked, the black pudding was alright but the unlisted lardons were too plentiful and left a very undesirable coating of grease on my pallet. Main course- Duck breast was overcooked and had a couple of bones left in it, very unappetising. The monk fish was severely overcooked rendering it completely inedible. As expected we decided to skip dessert. Do yourselves a favor and skip Marinas Grill in favor of many other wonderful Galway restaurants.

Very surprised by the quality and size of this restaurant at The Galmont. Those ribs were coming out of the bone without any problem, very tasty and fast service.

We had breakfast here as a part of our stay and it was very bad. The worst meal we have had in our trip to Ireland. The eggs were cold, like they had been refrigerated before being put on non-functional heating plates. The beans were at best room temperature. The bacon was just slices of salt that had been cooked and then placed in the freezer before ending up on my plate. The fruit had several rotten prices in it. The pastries were fine, but rather dry. The service was bad, we had several wait staff make eye contact, see that we were flagging them down, before they would look away and walk the other way. Eventually one came to help us, but decided that finishing making up a recently cleared table was more important than helping us. Eventually we did get what we needed, but it was indicative of the bad service that this entire hotel suffers from. Avoid this place. Do not pay extra for breakfast and find anywhere else to eat.

What is billed as irish food at it's best was a great disappointment. Food was dry and tasteless. We booked Marinas looking forward to a meal to celebrate the Christmas season amongst friends. There were 6 people in our party and all were equally disappointed with the food quality. If this is great irish food then we have a problem. Disgraceful.

Food was lovely, really good duck and monkfish, the crab cakes and mussels were also great! Just a note, if you have a voucher to use, make sure you let the staff know upfront. Staff was really nice as well.

Was here over the weekend with my partner celebrating both our birthdays and I have to say the service and food was outstanding. Very attentive and kind, even brought out birthday plates for us. A really nice touch. The food was also excellent, my partner said it was the best steak she had - my short rib was also cooked to perfection. No complaints and thank you for the wonderful evening
