Lovely staff. My son's favourite kebab Shop. Great kebabs and pizzas. The place has been newly renovated and the seating has changed more in to McD style. They have a variety of deals. The kebabs always feels fresh and they serve in huge portions. Capital special Kebab is a great deal if you wanna try all kebabs in a go. They also serve tea if you are a tea person and don’t want fizzy drinks.

The resturant looked really good, so opted to get some Turkish kebab meal. The presentation was good. But food was bit lost in taste. There was no salt in fries and kebab roll doesn't have a proper taste of anything.

I've been to kebab houses in Europe and Capital in Galway fits the bill. Sometimes, you just want some comfort food and what's more comfort food than meat sliced from a doner in a pita with veggies and a side of fries? Ordering was a bit of a challenge as the young lady behind the counter speaks English and I speak American but we were able to make it go. I ordered a kebab with all the fixings and spicy garlic. It did end up taking about 15 minutes for delivery to the table but it was hot. The pita bread seemed fresh and certainly the fries were just out of the fryer. Loaded enough it took some fork work to get it to a point it could be picked up. Fresh food, a good portion, a reasonable price. It's about as local as it gets!

This was a great place to come and get some food! They gave you a lot – almost too much – to eat. Service was very quick and the food came out hot. I tried both the chicken and the lamb. it came out on a sort of make-your-own-gyro platter. The lamb was not nearly as tasty as the marinated chicken, but both were excellent. Additionally, there was plenty of seating although people were coming in and out frequently. Overall, I would definitely come again.

The best Kebab shop we ever had in Galway city! Food was so delicious and with so many varieties in the menu could choose that we even visited the Kebab shop twice in the same day!Consistently great Kebab shop with service is fast too. Can’t go wrong with this place. We liked dining here. Staff members are always friendly, prices are reasonable and the spot is always kept clean! Such a great experience eating at this restaurant. Well done lads! Keep up the good work!

It's my 1st time buying Kebab here, and it was so delicious, rich, and loaded. Every meat is Halal. Although the location is good, so many people just loitering around come into the store with no intention to buy. Their price is affordable, and their customer service is excellent.

I came to Galway for a visit for a few nights. Tried their mixed kebab—takeaway, then went back to our hotel just a few walks away. I tried more kebab stores in Dublin/Cork and they have the same taste and quantity but this one we didn't like and i was so disappointed. Kebab was so dry, not juicy at all and the quantity of the sauce and kebab was less. They put few kebab and they put more vegs on top. Will not recommend to others.

What a nice find! After failing to get a seat in some of the nearby sit-down restaurants, I walked by Capital Kabab and glanced at the menu. My original plan was to have straight up lamb, a new favorite since visiting Ireland, with all the trimmings. I saw the Lamb Doner on the menu at this place and decided to shift gears. I am so glad I did. Don't expect fancy, but do expect tasty food that truly filled me up! Most of the staff speak in their native tongue and they know how to serve up a killer dish in my mind. Worth a stop if you are hungry for Turkish food. They also have burgers and pizza, but I can't speak to those. Friendly staff as well

I'm rating the food as an international individual. Food is just average. Lamb wrap was okay, fries can be more crispy. Shish lamb was uncooked but the staff was kind enough to provide refund on the food.

The Capital used to serve the best kebabs in Galway city centre but unfortunately the quality and quantity of food have both fallen badly. I gave them another chance yesterday but my lamb donor was a tiny pitta with more lettuce than meat in it. I won't be back.

We ordered delivery and put a specific note in the app that we have an allergy to bread and requested rice instead of chips. The order came with bread and chips, no rice. We rang the place, then brought the food back and they were completely unwilling to work with us to remake the food because they claimed they never saw the note. Even when we told them we couldn’t eat the food, they said they wouldn’t remake it. Horrible customer service, really unfortunate because the food looked good we just couldn’t eat it!

We were 3 friends visited Galway and we had a bad experience from that shop. There was two boy and a girl working on that time. The girl was very nice and polite but the other two lads was angry and unfriendly. Nobody expect that kind of service in my opinion. Food quality was good environment was good as well but the service makes me very anxious. Therefore, i will not recommend this resturant to any of my friends.

I went here instead of charcoal, because they do naan bread. I ordered a lamb doner and a coke at €14.90, which is very expensive. When the food came, it came in a pita bread and a tiny bit of donner and they put so much salad to hide the fact it’s only a tiny bit of lamb doner. When I asked for a knife they told me they didn’t have. The owner really needs to change something other than the prices. I’ve been coming here since I was in secondary school and quality just keeps going down. I’ll be going to charcoal from now on, very disappointed

Great kebab, with homemade bread. I would recommend. And they didn't scam on price like other kebab places in Galway.

rang them at 1:50 to ask if they were still accepting orders and they were until. ordered food on uber eats and after an hour AND A HALF of waiting we decided to ring and ask. rude worker over the phone told us they never received it even tho the order was accepted. he proceeded in an angry tone that it wasn’t his problem and didn’t give any help at all.

Order came looking like absolute disgrace, see picture attached. Sauces spilled up, no naan bread, instead 3 drinks came only 1, same with fries. I rang the place and the guy only said sorry I told owner to change ordering online because we only give 1 drink and 1 fries, instead of advertising 3, please see pictures of receipt and advertising. Very nice scam they have going on.

I had Very worse service in capital Turkish kebab Galway. We ordered super Capital special. Sauce cup side was broken, I told them to change it the he react on it and he told us it’s okay just broken that’s not a problem. We asked for side plates the man working there , he told my friend you guys are new here. We went to the counter and telling them to give us plate that time that man told us they do not speak English. I never ever come back to that shop. They are Very rode to the customer.

Really nice place, very polite service! Can’t understand why that many negative reviews. Service was so friendly, chicken a little bit dry(usually it’s perfect)- but atmosphere and vibe in general-5/5. Highly recommend lamb doner!🤤 Good place to have a delicious burger after night out 😋Will come back for sure!
