I can safely say, this is the worst B&B I have ever stayed in! It should only be a "B" for bef, NO BREAKFAST and should be brought to th3 attention of the Trade descriptions Act! Nobody to welcome you on arrival you get a "code" to get in the front Door, no number on bedroom door, had to try 3 doors to find my room, hardly enough room to "swing a cat" when i did find it, my room looked out on to a plain concrete wall, one hand towel, no bath towels, no sink stoppers the Sink, then people knocking on my door thinking I am responsible for "on duty' manager. Plus nobody to contact, the shower doors don't close at all I think the shower was an after thought, no breakfast or food of any description, so the "description" is deceptive, Bed with NO BREAKFAST! I would NOT recomend this place AT ALL, it's dreadful and will NEVER stay here again! AVOID AVOID AVOID! The only positive point is its location! Dreadful place, never again!

The lady of the house was okay. Wanted to cut back on hotel prices but when I booked on booking.com my bank card wouldn't allow me to pay booking.com directly. I went to see the lady who owns it but she said that the money had to be paid to bookin.com. I visited the bank and tried to clarify the situation but they still won't allow the payment to go through. Its a pity because its a very nice place, very central and three nights was going to cost 260 euros. It would have been a great bargain.

As soon as we arrived at the B & B Seamus was out to meet you. . So friendly and helpful. Told us best places t go for food and socializing. It's 15 min walk which is fine. There is free tea and coffee in the kitchen available at any time up to 12am. Beautifil home made, queen cakes and cake. Very clean and diff stay again in this B & B. Diff recommend it.

Not a bad location, 10-15 minute walk to the center of town and they have parking, but it's helpful knowing that it's on a pretty noisy intersection. Our bathroom had no active ventilation. Which has always meant black mold in my experience and so there it was. Sounds like their working on it. Service was helpful

Bayview is conveniently located halfway between the city center and the GMIT campus. It is a 20 minute stroll either the city center or the university and is well connected by bus routes. This makes Bayview an ideal location for anyone visiting Galway for a few days to attend a seminar, conference, graduation or event at GMIT.

["What a great place to stay. Overnight in Galway whilst on a motorbike tour of Ireland. Couldn't of been made to feel more welcome. No breakfast which is absolutely no problem as just opposite is the huntsman which did a great breakfast. 100% stay again",null,[0,252]]

Side of the building says B&B. I pulled right in and a room was available. Very accommodating. But when I got up in the morning I found that it was only a B with no &B. For the price I would expect some sort of breakfast.

Great location, a nice 10 minute walk into town either along Lough Atalia, or past the rugby stadium on College Road. Niall was a huge help, very friendly and accommodating. I'd recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Galway

My first time staying in a B&B and I was so impressed. The place was immaculate and the host was lovely and helpful. Within walking distance of Eyre Square too, maybe 20 min walk

No breakfast, so not a B&B, just a guesthouse. Check your email for a code to get in the front door. Breakfast can be had at other hotels a short drive away or at a restaurant around the corner. Wear earplugs at night to block the noise of the intersection. The beds are pretty soft and it's a relaxing place. Easy walk downtown if it's not raining!

Nice and we'll conditioned. Kitchen available, wifi and other facilities. Perfect for short term stay and work. Located in a lovely location beside the river. LIDL shake dog, and shopping mall are just 5 mins walk. 15-20mins walk from the city centre. Car parking available. Nice and Friendly house owner.

Family of 17 stayed at Bayview House with Seamus. Had an amazing stay...all rooms were clean and breakfast was delicious! He hooked us up for a great tour of Aran island and the cliffs of moher. He made sure all our dinner plans were set and he went above and beyond to make sure the rest of our stay was well planned and fun.

Perhaps just not what we were looking for. There is no Bay view from Bay View house. It is immaculate, spotless. Beds were comfy but room felt a little claustrophobic. Breakfast is "continental" and that was disappointing but that may just be a personal preference for a good old Irish breakfast. Shower was good. And city center is about a twenty minute walk. I'd be more inclined next time to stay in one of the nearby hotels for in and around the same cost.

Although the house is on a cross roads intersection the windows dampen the car noise quite good. The staff was very nice, the beds too soft, the breakfast a bit too burned and old and the walls too thin (snoring from the other rooms).

Thank you very much for a wonderful comfortable stay last month! We booked a triple room with a private bathroom and were very happy with the room. The staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and actually genuinely kind making conversation at breakfast. They told us everything we needed to know on arrival. The only thing that could make this place better is if you could leave access to the kitchen open 24houea

Stayed there over Christmas a few years ago with my daughter. Had a great time and Seamus even joined us for the Salt hill swim Christmas morning. Will go back.
