We stayed last August 2020, 6 of use - 3 adults and 3 children, the place is perfect for a staycation. We went on day trips most days and the one or two wet days we stayed in the cottage and chilled for the day. It is very remote and the view is breath-taking, but the cottages are beautiful, they look ancient but on the inside are very modern, warn and comfortable. the location is several miles off the main road and tourist trail so is very quite and that adds to how special this place is. Finally Ned is a real character and has so much information on the local area. Ned we will be in touch for a stay again in 2021

BEAUTIFUL COTTAGE Visited Caragh Lake cottages in August 2020. Absolutely fantastic accommodation. Authentic stone cottage but with all the luxury of modern living. We lit the stove in the evenings just for the ‘look’ of the fire but the place was so cosy with underground heating. This helped with a newborn! We stayed with our young children and it was just so peaceful and tranquil. The view of Caragh lake & McGillycuddy reeks are outstanding, it’s like a different (new) painting each hour! I’d love to go back with friends on a walking holiday again some day as there are loads of walkways and hikes through the area. We visited Killorglin, Glencar, Glenbeigh, Killarney and spent some time on Inch beach with the children. It’s so remote yet just a short drive to many more attractions.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage in Glencar. It was so peaceful, amazing views of the lakes and the mountains... Absolutely breathtaking!! The cottages are homely, warm and beautifully decorated. So close to Ross Beigh, Glen beigh, beaches, mountain walks. We had a fantastic week... Highly recommended!!

Most beautiful place I’ve ever been to. My children loved it too! So much to do and the view from the cottage is amazing 😍 The cottage is so modern and clean, couldn’t find a fault. It’s nicely out of the way but close enough to all amenities and there’s so much stuff to do! We were never bored. Would definitely go back and would recommend it without hesitation!

Stayed in one of the cottages in July 2020! Fantastic week had by all! We are a family of 6 (2 adults 4 kids - ages 6,7,9&10)! We got to see so much of a lovely part of Kerry! We walked part of the Kerry Way from the cottage over the mountain into Glenbeigh and enjoyed a lovely pub lunch before getting a taxi back to the cottage! We visited Rossbeigh beach and did some horse riding another day!! We visited Dingle another day! We took some surfing lessons another day on Inch beach! We did a day of window shopping in Killarney! We went to Torc Waterfall and Muckross House.... loved this day!!! Janey, hard to believe we fit so much in!!!! We are at the cottage most evenings as we were so tired!!! There was a bbq we made good use of!!! We’ll certainly be back!!!

We stayed in Holly Gables for 5nights and were blown away. The property was stunning over looking Caragh Lake we couldn't believe our luck. Recommend it for both family or a couples getaway. The property was spotless and the interior was very modern while the outside kept its famine characteristics. Ned our host was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure we were well looked after. He suggested all the local eateries and sites for us to go see. We definitely hope to return sooner rather than later. The property is located ideally between Killarney and Glenbeigh. Inch Beach and Dingle are only a short drive away and are definitely a must. Put it on your wish list!!!!
