I lived for almost 7 years in Dublin so when I decided to visit back the city for a long weekend I knew I wanted to be close to the city centre but also close to Ranelagh (the best hood for me) Donnybrook Hall is like a typical Irish house with all the facilities you need. A variety of bus stops around the corner, even the one who bring you straigh to the airport. The place itself is very clean, quiet, kettle, hairdryer, towels, wifi are provided in the room. They let you keep your suitcase after the check out for the day you travel back. The owner and the lady are very friendly always willing to help you. I highly recommend this place, it has been the best decision I took. Just remember bring your adapter for the plugs!!

I was a solo traveler and my room was perfect for me. The staff is wonderful. They engaged in conversation and made me feel at home.

Staying at Donnybrook Hall was quite a treat. The owners Debbie and Terry are lovely people, and Martina (staff) was very friendly. The rooms are especially clean, and the bedding is super warm with an extra thick comforter. My room comes with an armoire, electric tea kettle, cup and saucer, and hair dryers; you can request one with a desk if need be. The area is also very safe. If one must walk around Dublin at night, here is your neighborhood. There are also tea shops and a few grocery stores within a very short walking distance. The city centre is right up R138. You can walk there in about 20 minutes. It may be shallow, but one of my favorite things about my stay is the state of the art bathroom and shower. Seriously, marble tiling—YAAS! If you need a place to stay in Dublin, Donnybrook Hall is the place to be.

Worst stay ever. There hotel was full of Somali and Islamic people rioting. We will never go on vacation to again to Ireland or stay in this establishment for pleasure of business. Thought Ireland was a safe country. Letting all our networks know we should have gone to Switzerland instead away from all this degeneracy.

I’m actually still currently staying here as I write this but these people have been so phenomenal I had to come on here. The place is small and adorable. Well kept on the inside and outside. Beautiful little garden at the front to greet you and a beautiful garden out back as well. Everyone that works here is so friendly and willing to chat or even make recommendations on places to go. All of them have made certain that I have everything I need. The neighborhood it’s located in is adorable. I got the room with a private bathroom and it’s wonderful as a solo traveler. My only gripe is you can hear EVERYTHING- I was able to hear the person above me snoring and I could clearly make out conversations but it’s easily drowned out by tv. Thank you guys!

Advertised as boutique hotel, b and b. Does not serve breakfast. No hotel facilities. Rooms quite nice, but very cheap bedroom furniture. Very clean.

The room was very comfortable and clean, and the hosts were lovely. It's in a nice area close to buses that will take you directly to/from the city centre. There was one error with billing that I noticed after I got home and the owners responded immediately to correct it. I will definitely stay there again if I get a chance to go to Dublin again.

I made a mistake booking on booking.com (thought I was booking a double, but in fact was booking a single). The hotel warned me (because in my message I referred to "our flight". Then they gave me a full refund (I had fully paid in advance). 10/10.

A wonderful place to stay in Dublin. Great price, just a few bus stops from the center. Spotless and the staff is amazing, the owner very helpful and cheerful person.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast in a calm and nice area in Dublin. You can reach the city center via bus within 15 minutes or 30 minutes by foot. To the air coach station you walk like 5 minutes and you drive to the airport around 30-40 minutes. There are some pubs in the area and a Tesco and a spar (3 minutes walk). Our room (3) was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfy. There were two beds, so I guess the room can be used by 3 or even 4 people, in that case it would be a bit too small but for the two of us it was big enough. The whole staff / family is super friendly and helpful! Terry is such a nice guy! From the first second it felt a bit like home and the welcome was very warm. The breakfast was very delicious and fresh made and there are a lot options to choose from. Unfortunately we stayed just one night but we will definitely come back again!

This is a fantastic bed and breakfast south of Dublin City center. The owner and all of the employees at the bed-and-breakfast referred to me by my first name from the beginning. Concierge services and coffee and tea were offered around the clock. I arrived fairly early before check-in time. The small staff was able to prepare my room before check-in time. The breakfast was fantastic. Probably the best breakfast I've had in a very long time! I highly recommend this for couples. Parking a small car was a bit challenging on the streets, but in Dublin you should try to use public transportation as much as possible because it is cost and time effective with all the open and moving bus lanes throughout the city.

For the price, this is a great lodging option in Dublin. It's a little bit off the "tourist trail" (you either need to take a bus or walk about half an hour to get to the city center), but it's in a lovely residential neighborhood, quiet and clean. The property itself has loads of character, the rooms are spotless, and the owner is a friendly guy. If you are looking for an affordable, simple place to stay in Dublin, and you don't need to be right in the middle of the party, you won't find much better than this.

I was a guest in Donnybrook Hall for two times and in both cases my experience was very good! I payed 120 euros per night (breakfast was not available but you can find many good bars in the nearby) and the room was always super clean. The structure is not in the centre but you can easily reach it within few minutes by bus. Terry, Lara and Debbie were always very kind with me, showing me good places where I could eat and also helping me with my travels. The moment I will go back to Ireland this place will undoubtedly be my first choice.
