Convenient parking near downtown Cork. Short walk to good shopping. Spaces are tight but clear and clean, great for smaller vehicles. Entry via parking ticket did not work and one pay station did not work but a second one worked fine. Very well lighted and clean. Live assistance was available during my visit. Elevator lift available to all levels.

Don't park here if your going to the opera house, as the preferred discount does not seem to exist. We paid 8 euro to get out instead of the advertised 3 euro. Also don't park here if you want to be able to leave the car park in a hurry. We had to wait 20 minutes to exit, as there was an issue with the barrier and each of the 7 cars ahead of us had to push the assistance button to get the barrier raised. If ur gonna charge me full price, at least let me leave in a quick maner. 😉 The help line staff were helpful in getting us out, but unsympathetic about the overcharge.

Spent 20 minutes stuck inside with at least a dozen other cars this afternoon. Pushed the help button nothing happened. Tried help button on opposite machine, a woman answered and then berated me for not pushing the button on the machine I was trying to exit from. Said she could not do anything. She sounded like she was in UK. No one else around. Was stuck in the same car park 2 years ago also. Never again. Also very expensive. Avoid at all costs!!

Long queues to leave as scanner didn't work, then I was charged 50% extra for arriving 7 minutes early for pre paid parking. Avoid if possible

Exit is so bad, I don’t know who design in but this is crazy, so narrow and the scanner to get inside building is not working anymore. Someone opened doors eventually but this speaker in that amazing machine is so quiet that on this busy street it was nearly impossible to hear the answer from operator.

Pay machines very often don't work. It takes your ticket but bank card fails. Sometimes front entrance does not open at night especially making it difficult to get in.

Ticket machine didn't return the ticket, so chanced it and joined the queue as every car trying to leave seems to have issues, and when I got to the barrier I tried everything, tried holding the contact less payment part over and over, only for the machine to keep saying scan again, I ended up putting my debit card in as had no other options, and the machine swallowed it just as the barrier lifted after a long wait, and had to cancel my card. Why can't they operate like normal car parks and just return the parking ticket on the pay station so cars can exit with ease?

4/12/22. Disgraceful, payment kiosk on the left says ticket invalid for every user and had to speak by intercom to someone to organise payment, We all had to repeat this process as the other kiosk had a queue, When the ticket was inserted to open the barrier it also said invalid and had to contact by intercom someone to open barrier, queues were forming to get out, no human there to fix issue, Last time using the place.

Dangerous and not fit for purpose. I turned up for my pre-booked parking , the barrier did not recognise my reg ,the barcode would not scan. We parked on 3a and the lift was out of order AND the stairs were soaking wet, they must have been hosed down. I had an invalid and a 2 year old with me which is why we pre booked parking for the panto. Stairs were treacherous and it was hugely stressful. AVOID!

Very expensive.1 Lift not working. 1 pay machine not working. 1 exit machine not working. So you have to get out of the car to scan your ticket for the barrier to lift. Grand if you are able bodied. Not disabled friendly at all

First time parking here, charged me €28.80 for a days parking. Absolute thieves.

Q-park the only place you pre book and arrive to find out the prebooking isn't working, there's no staff and a massive queue to get out as everyone availed of the evening €7 offer. Also would be nice if the discount code for the Opera House actually worked on the site. Money hungry and zero customer service

Booked online. And was already hesitant how this will work. And of course reg was not recognised (don’t think if camera for recognition is even there). QR code did not work either took a good 2 min someone to answer help button. Car in front of me had same trouble with online booking. On the way out (after opera house event). Was havoc!!!! Again no reg recognition and again QR did not work. Help button did not answer for more than 5 mins, no one in attendance cabin either. Queue built up beeping without patience. Embarrassing is least to say!!! Sort out your automated system!!! Almost 2024 and yet such a stone aged system that does not work!!!!

Always very convenient to get to. In my experience, booking online is a must as while tickets can be bought at the gate, it makes entry and exit a fair bit more complicated, whereas with an online booking you simply drive in and out and the barrier recognises you license plate. It should also be noted that while it is very easy to get into, it can be a bit trickier to leave as you exit onto a side street with several one way streets in the area

Excellent customer service. You can speak to an actual person (in person) if you have any problems. Very friendly and car park right next to main street. 5 stars all the way from me!

Real easy entry, painfully slow to depart with a pre paid ticket. Huge queues leaving after an event in Opera house.

My friend booked his car for parking in the 6pm to 2am slot. He apparently arrived 11 seconds early (according to Carrolls' clock) and was charged an extra €3.20. €3.20 for 11 seconds ! A bit unfair.

Great place to park if you are going to a concert in the Opera house across the river as they have a special deal, it's a bit tight thought so be careful.

The payment was not connected to the exit barrier and rather then open the gate to allow people to exit and not stand in line, the customer service person was checking each individual payment before letting people out. Park elsewhere save yourself time and nonsense!

Convenient location in the City Center. Easy to get in pre booking and plate Scanner. Parking spots are very Tiny. Ok for a small car to park but very Tight When lots of Cars are squeezed in. Terrible to get out. Super tight exit. Plate recognition didnt work. Almost impossible to get to the Scanner from inside the car. Also almost impossible to get out of the car when trying to get to the Scanner.

Very tight entrance and exit and quite dear but handy location and it feels secure. Good size spaces

I've always had problems trying to get out. The machines to pay for parking either eat your ticket or don't accept card for payment.

Every corner, every parking space is about 50cm too small. Edit: I drive an A3, not a pickup truck. This isn't a problem of newer cars being larger

Close enough to down town to park and not take the bus. Parked here for the Elton John concert and was close enough to walk back instead if taking a taxi or bus. It was faster to walk anyway because of the amount of people on the street after the concert. As other have said small lanes and spaces. My prepaid QR code was not able to be scanned when we arrived but a fella at the exit reviewed it and let us out without extra charges.

Nice handy 24/7 parking for decent enough rates especially since it's really close to the city centre. Great if you want to park your car but be able to get to it whenever. The service and efficiency seems good as the machine to exit wasn't working and they just quickly let us out without a fuss.

Wouldn’t be giving 5 stars if it wasn’t for Sean! I was days trying to get a replacement premier card as I had lost my previous one and had to pay 24 euro a day for 4 days while at work. I rang the intercom in the carpark and was passed onto a lady in the call centre whom was extremely blunt and arrogant when I asked could I pass on my premier card number to deduct the normal daily rate from my account which she told me I couldn’t do. Even though I had prepaid money onto my account it could not be deducted without the physical card.Sean rang me and sorted me out with a new card when I got back to my car today and I couldn’t be more appreciative!

Multistorey carpark located within city centre. 3 euro per hour (as per November 2021)

Great parking in centre of Cork, safe and dry, 24/7 service, availability for pay online

  • 5/5 Jerry M. 2 years ago on Google
Very handy to park without going all the way through city centre traffic.

Great location, only thing leaving it down is it is a bit narrow and the exit barrier area is very awkward and very tight. Difficult if you have a large car or SUV.
