I then met Prof Niamh ni Chaoilean and her fab team. well let's just say I walked In the door a bit nervous but can only say that they were the nicest kindest reassuring and covid friendly with all the trimmings. I honest can say I was proud that we have such wonderful front line staff...were truly blessed. I hope that yere bonus is super fat this year as each and every one inc Peggy that has such gentle way with her truly deserves it... Keep up the good work. well done all and stay safe during yere Xmas New year break. .💯👌💕

Unfortunately a stay in hospital is never something to be celebrated nor is it an enjoyable experience. However the level of care and attention shown to patients at the Bon Secours in Galway is fantastic. The nursing staff and the catering staff are very patient orientated and there is a genuine effort put into patient care.

The woman on the reception desk with shoulder length blonde hair 30/08/23 at 14.00 has a dismissive and derogatory attitude inappropriate to a healthcare setting.

Had occasion to have xray in the radiology department this morn.l compliment the team on the trouble they took to ensure my xrays were perfect. Thankyou for your dedication and effort. Also l loved the spirit that was evident.

Apart from a slight hiccup with admissions, I would be unable to make any adverse comments about the care I received during my six day stay for a hip replacement. Every member of the medical team was professional, efficient, and very friendly; nothing was too much trouble for them. The catering department were accommodating and sympathetic to my dietary needs as a vegetarian and I was well looked after by a pleasant and friendly staff.

I never write reviews but I felt this was necessary! I had an appointment today in the MRI department. From the moment I entered the building all staff were so amazing at their job. I dealt with chloe on reception in the MRI department. She was amazing as were the two ladies on with her. Well done to you all!

AAAAAAA++++ Staff were so kind to my mum, could not do enough, place is spotless! A type of deep clean that was only ever achieved when the nuns ran places! Older among us will know what it means, spotless! Well above par! Food for patients is real nice ,well cooked, varied and presented, it makes such a difference and those tough times a little easier to bear! My mum loved everything about her stay here except one thing..it isn't her home! But the closest thing to it!

Attended an outpatient appointment. Plenty of parking. Appointment exactly on time. Only downside was getting back into traffic at 4.00pm, but that's Galway problem

My son had surgery this week in the Bons. We were treated with such kindness and care by everyone, a special word of thanks to the staff of Saint Jarleths ward who went above and beyond to help and make a scary situation so much better... Nurses Claire and Michelle and everyone we came in contact with. Thank you all so much, Eoin and Deirdre.

😠 Utter disgrace of an experience in A&E. I was admitted as a CAT 2 after a motorcycle accident with broken bones and I was left in agony on a trolly for 16 hours. The first doctor wanted to discharge me after just a few hours and said my collar bone is broken but can heal by itself and my ankle was...
