Great little spot right overseeing a good stretch of sea. They have a good few activities that would suit all age group. Soft ground rather than wood chips means infants can be taken there a bit more safely.

My daughter liked it, but the over 20s should leave the playground for kids.

Located on the edge of Galway Bay, it is a great place for toddlers, adolescents and parents. Artificial, rubberized surface allows for use immediately after the occasional offering of Galway's liquid sunshine. Wooden fence prevents adventurous from wandering into traffic. Strong, safe devices. Could use more seating for weary parents. Could use shade.

It's very small given its location and how popular it is. There is usually a wait for the swings and see saws, and also the climbing frame and slide is quiet small. Shame really it's not a bit bigger, as it's nicely done. Something in it to suit all ages from baby to 6/7 yr old. Bigger kids would get bored fairly quick. There is a nice park/green patch and walkway beside it with exercise equipment and benches. As it's seaside location, can be windy and a bit chilli. Good parking right beside playground. Aquarium and little shop and a coffee shop right beside it too.

Very nice Playgroud, well maintained and also very safe, plenty things for kids to play with , coffee shop next few steps is a bonus and lovely prom, we alway have a great time over there.

The only playground in Salthill area, thus busy at times. It is small but makes kids happy. Galway needs more places like this.

For such a prominent area and busy holiday destination, the playground is small. It could be improved and expanded for sure.

The playground itself is ok. Not a lot of things there though but the main issue is the amount of rubbish and not from dumping but from overflowing bins. Easy solution to empty more often but it looks disgusting
