Yummy chips and superb service. The lads were incredibly friendly and professional. Chips were freshly made and crunchy! There were plenty of sauce to choose from. However, I had no idea what they tasted like ( can you guys do something about it). So, I opted for the parmesan and jalapenos. So tasty. All in all, lovely experience. Super recommend it.

The first time I had Pratai was from the food truck during the Galway Christmas market. The freshness of the chips, unique sauces, and flavours blew me away. I was excited to hear about a pop up shop opening on shop street and went there as soon as it was possible and the food was still as amazing as I remembered it to be. If I could I would give this place 6 stars. I think it's the first spot you should hit when in Galway and looking for some good food and I truly cannot stress enough how much I recommend it!

During my visit to local streets of Galway I came across this place and thought to give a try to Irish chips - soni ordered it. It’s available in three sizes - big, bigger and biggest. I ordered bigger one and it was also sufficient in volume. They had different sauses and curries to pour upon (however which are chargeable) and fries tastes awesome with Curries poured over. Must try cuisine

Had to try authentic Irish potatoes and pratai did not disappoint! So many delicious sauces to chose from, there’s a flavour for everyone! Customer service went above and beyond with Cora and Lorcan helping us out with all the local spots to check out. Would definitely be back 😊😊❤️

Really nice find in the Latin Quarter! The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They use only real Irish potatoes. The guys behind the counter were super nice and helped me pick flavors. I asked for their recommendation and got Harry's nut butter satay with Irish sea salt and parmesan! It was delicious!

It’s exactly what they advertise it’s hard to give them anything less than 5. They sells chips with dips. The dips are exceptional, my favourite was the garlic one as it was more than just a basic garlic sauce but they also have a small collection of others. The sauces themselves ranged from very good to just okay. I personally wasn’t in love with the salt and vinegar dip but the truffle one is also quite enjoyable.

The real deal! Hot chips / fries / whatever you want to call your favourite potato, run don’t walk. Potatoes grown in Ireland, local sauces and friendly service. Get fresh onions on top and thank me later (tastes like a burger!)

Quick bite crispy chips with tasty dips! Felt a bit pricey for the quantity served.

Considering all they serve is chips and they were less than epic I was let down. I went for crispy onion topping and the Satay sauce. They gave me a tiny amount of sauce, the sauce was nothing special either. I wouldn't be complaining if it wasn't for the price.

Such a new gem added to Galway city! Far far more superior than just fries and sauce. The fries are hand cut in front of you and cooked on demand - which makes an enormous difference, no soggy chips here. Crisp and crunchy. I chose the rosemary salt with the Aleppo Andalouse - divine. Next time I went for the garlic aioli and it was just dreamy. Really friendly and helpful staff and well worth the price.

This is a fun chip place right in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Good options of sauces, fresh chips and quick and easy snack.

The best French fries I've ever had. They're made fresh, and the list of sauces and toppings makes this an experience worth repeating. Incredible.

Lovely spot and beautifully done to cater with the space by throwing open the front window entirely so you can wait in comfort outside to hear your name called for collecting your chips. Order inside from a choice of three sizes of chips, and a multitude of sauces - yopouttait is a favourite and they also offered to refill the sauce if we ran out, and did this for all customers. Really nice staff and the chips are cooked fresh in front of you, and if you want you can request extra crispy. Lovely spot, highly recommend for a lovely snack
