I bought a second hand bike today and haven't been cycling for years ! Anyway, I called them thinking there was something wrong with the bike and Mr Korean Guy ( I don't remember his name, starts with J XD) picked up and was super responsive ! So I cycled to the store soon after and the staff were super helpful ! Connor helped fixed up what needed to be fixed. Bought a bike stand and bell. Prices were way affordable compared to other bike repair shops ! I felt the staff went above and beyond in providing the services ! They even taught me how to use the gears and adjust the seat heights ect. Would highly recommend this place ! They're were friendly too :D

Had a really positive experience with An Mheitheal Rothar. I had the pleasure of dealing with Martyna. She was friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging. The service was very fast and reasonably priced. I highly recommend these guys for any seasoned cycling enthusiast or beginner( like me) for repairs, parts and advice. I'll be back.

Great craic! The best service you could ask for. Also was stunned by a beautiful young woman while here. I'm touring Ireland by bicycle and stopped in just before close with an issue shifting. The two fellows were eager to help, and got me back on the road with the bike running better than ever! I've cycled Dublin->Wexford->Dungarvan->Cork->Killarney->Listowel->Doolin->Galway->Clifden->Castlebar->Sligo. Going for a full circuit around the coastline, back to Dublin! Took me way too long to write this review but I brought in a 25 year old Peugeot performance roadbike that had not been ridden in years and i was looking to get in fixed in 3 days so I could cycle it while back in galway. The gears were completely gone, and the wheels and breaks in a very bad way! The Mheitheal Rothar team worked miracles to (1) figure out how to make it cyclable (2) source parts and (3) get it fixed up in a really short space of time. They changed the front 2 rings to a 1-by and managed to source parts and even fitted a campagnolo shifter they had lying around to give me a brilliant 9 speed road bike with the wheels fixed and everything working amazingly. Phenomenal job!!

Great staff, were really helpful to me when I was starting a week long cycling holiday in Connemara with some urgent dilemmas with my bike to start. They fixed up my bike super quick and also taught me a lot about my bike, v generous with their time & v reasonable prices.

I have just bought a bike from here and am hugely impressed with the customer service! Anthony was professional, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient. He and Martyna helped me with getting my bike on the CTW scheme. There was never any pressure to close a sale and they just seem really genuine. Despite them always being busy anytime I called in they always gave me as much time as I needed and advised me on accessories and clothing, even ordering in additional specific clothing. I went to them initially as they were the only shop in town which had a crossbar saddle for my 4 year old and because of the excellent customer service I experienced I bought the bike there. They are the only place I’ll be going for anything bike related in future. Thanks guys, much appreciated!

It was a nice experience. I drop a bike for an emergency repair. I was told it will be ready in a week, but I got a text on the phone after 4 days only to get bike collected. I like the ticket/quote system. Handy and well explained. After the nice experience I drop another bike for service and it was quick too. Only downside is regarding second hand bikes. It could be good to offer buy/sell used bikes.

I popped in before class in the morning and Sam was super helpful. I needed the wheel fixed and he done it right there and then. He offered a general service of the bike which was badly needed and fixed my brakes too. Super nice guy, great shop! I would definitely recommend.

They were extremely nice and fast! We were in and out in about ten minutes with our bikes repaired. Overall a very good experience. If you have problems with your bike go there! The shop also has a very good atmosphere and is easy to get to with your bike.

My best experience for getting bike parts and getting bikes fixed. The people know their stuff and more importantly they are friendly and accommodating. The DIY session is a great experience as well! I miss the weekend opening times though. It would be great for people who can't get to the shop during the week.
