Very good food, very good service. Next to the bar you can have a good beach massage from Kaddy or natti. Every Saturday and Wednesday very good bbq and campfire with local music.

This is a great bar and restaurant right on the Beach. The staff is very polite. Food and drinks are great, also for a good price. I recommend to go out of your hotel and go there to get to know real Gambian people. They are so friendly, honest and nice.

Lovely food but a very long wait for it. The place is nice. Not as budget friendly as we thought it to be. We went on a Thursday and probably it would be even nicer to go on a Wednesday or Saturday as then they make a nice campfire and BBQ.

This is a local bar with a rich history. The people are proud of this place and are very hospitable. The food is amazing and you should definitely try out the barbeque evening on Wednesday and Saturday which includes local drum music and dancing! The food prices are also good and you will support the locals here.

Next to Tamala Beach Resort you will find this little gem! A family owned business with home cooked food! Try the local specialty like Beneiched or Yassa, but the BBQ nights on Wednesdays and Saturday’s are the best experience ever! Food is super and the dancing around the fire afterwards makes it an amazing evening always to remember!

One of the best days of my life, I had 5 beers, a coffee and three soft drinks for £10 then went for a drink with the waitress, Muna as she finished her shift at 4....

We had a very pleasant evening at the local bar John Raymond's! Despite a minor power cut, the food arrived quickly, and it was very tasty! Afterwards there was also a cozy campfire with some music. Thank you for the wonderful evening!

This place really deserves the description of being chilled. The staff will not bother you, or pester you. The location great, fantastic beach along here. Food nice, in the local style and not expensive. The wifi, sometimes work, and hey, you shouldn't need it here.

Everything ok without one thing. On the barbecue a took one plate. I eat with three person and after all they want to pay like for three plates 1050. ... only cheating tourist. Anyway I paid 450 so still more.

Disappointed was expecting the food being cooked fresh on a bbq on the beach but it was laid out like a buffet and food was cold

Where do I start, the venue is relaxing on the beach next to Kunta Kinteh hotel, the food is fantastic and the service is beyond expectations. The kitchens I was welcome to inspect and were clean, the staff catered for all our diets. I had a group of 38 here and the food was set out for them, it was a staple dish so they did it as a buffet style. Everyone was full with extra food left over. The people who didn’t eat this food were catered to individually and again all were happy, the price is reasonable. The drinks are ice cold with a good selection. There is horses on the beach and they stop bye here to see if the kids want to ride. Prices vary but I can negotiate D600 per hour per horse to give all the kids a shot or D200 per child for 10 minutes. Paby and Marie are both legends

Spent a day here reading on the sunbed. Staff very kind and accommodating, helped us move the sunbed etc. Great mango juice and chips 😍 very nice atmosphere overall, safe as well to leave your things and go for a swim.

A fantastic bar. From the outset it looks a little ruff and ready BUT don't let this put you off! Wednesdays are buffet days where you can eat some beautiful food, fresh and tasty from Barracuda which is probably the nicest fish I've ever tasted to local cuisine, salads, chicken, curry type dishes, rices and more. Absolutely phenomenal. They have a great drumming session on the night around the campfire where you can drink, chill, have a dance and relax. Nothing better whilst listening to the sea waves. A place we we visited more than once and everytime the food is superb. As someone who is quite fussy I can't recommend enough. If you don't mind waiting as the food is cooked from scratch and fresh...no microwave meals or precooked here! A joy to visit! And a must if you visit Gambia
