During our 12 day stay in The Gambia, we went to Gusto four times. And every single time was excellent. The dishes are amazing, the cocktails delicious and the waiters friendly. Would recommend!

We've been coming to Kololi for several years and this was our first visit to this restaurant as we have been to most other, plus the reviews were high and friends recommended it. Initial reception was good and they soon offered drinks. We place our order for main courses and a side of garlic bread. To our surprise we were give a basket of bread with a garlic sauce. Very nice but filling. If you're not a big eater beware. The garlic bread, or pizza in this case shortly followed and my wife's dinner. I was to wait several more minute for my beef lasagne. Unfortunately it was COLD. I informed the waiter who apologised and took it away. I then sat and waited another 20 minutes for my dinner to come back by that time my wife had finished hers, which was lovely, 5* by the way. My lasagne had unfortunately been cooked to within an inch of its life and was now a mush and well over cooked. I couldn't eat it and decided to speak to the manager. There had been several complaints of cold food by other customers also. In this case, my first, I refused to pay for the nights meal, and the manager wiped my bill clean. That I appreciated. For the amount that is being charged they need to sort out the kitchen. A shame as this was our last night too. MAY visit again and retry next year

We’ve visited this restaurant many times over the last 4 years and each time it’s been incredible. Lovely staff, beautiful setting and the food is superb. The staff are extremely attentive and accommodating. We’re quite fussy vegans, and the chef came out and made us their own speciality dish, and it’s the best meal we’ve ever had in The Gambia. Highly recommended!

We have been here two times and must say we are so satisfied with the quality.. the owner is a very polite guy who personally comes over and check if everything is okay and service is good:) the only thing I regret about last night which was the second time we were there, is that when the owner came over and asked if we were satisfied i should have said (after we bragged about the good food and wind), that his staff and our waiter for the night should only come over to the table once after receiving our dishes and asking if it’s okay. The guy last night came over to our table about 13 times asking if everything was okay. It made the meal a bit stressful and if I may add a bit irritating. The waiter should come over once to take the order , once to deliver the drinks and ones to deliver the food. After this, it’s okay he checks that everything is okay with the food and after that only be back to clear the table and come with the bill. The pizzas was beyond good, I had been wanting to eat pizza after 2 months of local food and I was very satisfied. The place is very nice and we had fun playing at the billiard table. Owner and waiters very friendly. I am rating 4 starts though, I ordered tiramisu for dessert (it was very expensive, around 7-8€ but wanted to treat my italian roots), what I was served was a sugary biscuit between 2 pours of cream (not mascarpone which I have seen in local supermarkets) served in a tiny little glass. It wasn’t good and also it was not real tiramisu and the size was very uncompetent with the pricing.
