I stayed at Ocean Villa Heights for 13 days!! Here is my experience!! The moment I walked in I felt at home! The staff were not only friendly but loving and smiled all the time. I truly was made to feel comfortable and at home. The rooms were very nice and clean. The cleaning ladies were kind and did a great job! Rooms were cleaned everyday!! If there were any problems with rooms it was dealt with immediately! The cooking staff wellli have never met any kinder group of women who work hard with a smile! Anything you ask for they are right there! I enjoyed every moment spent with them. Food was wonderful!! I loved the fact that there was a little dog named Teddy there! Can’t wait to see him again! It helped seeing him as I missed my dogs back home! The managers there were accommodating as yes the hotel is expanding and everyone is learning! Very pleased!! All of this being said I have read other reviews and I will honestly say I would never stay anywhere else in Gambia!! I truly enjoyed every moment I spent there! Thank you all for making my stay not only perfect but I made some beautiful friends!! See you all soon!!

Great hotel, just what we needed. Away from the busy tourist beaches. Good vibes. For us, best place we visited in Gambia ❤️. The room is big, bed is comfortabel, big bathroom. Staff is great!! Swimming pool is nice and quiet, good sunbeds. 5 minute walk to a quiet beach and beachbars. Breakfast was good.

B-T-4. Nice and very clean rooms. Just need to add more and better pillows. Great costumes service by far in the Gambia. Trust me the costumes service in the Gambia, is not too good. They need to learn seriously.

The serenity was amazing. Exactly what I needed. The service was not the best however because it was off season. Look forward to checking it out when it's in top season. I enjoyed my time there🤗

Paula is the best! The staff is great! I had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful. The rooms are nice. This will be my go to place whenever I visit Gambia. The area was nice and there is a store, not far away. I came from Georgia USA.

Nice place with friendly staff. Refreshing pool and fantastic beach behind the hotel! Wifi working everywhere. No problems with early check in/ late check out!

This is a decent hotel. Good air conditioning. There is a pool, hot shower, and friendly staff. The grounds are decent, and a path leads to the beach. It is a fair walk downstairs if that is an issue. The people are friendly here. I found the sad thing about Gambia is the amount of sex tourism, so I saw that everywhere I went. If you are coming to Gambia as a family, be prepared to see this out in the open. I find it sad that people would go and exploit those here. The ocean is beautiful, and so are the people. I am praying that Jesus will transform this nation so they no longer have to live under this bondage.

My first time in Gambia. We spent 12 nights in the hotel and my stay is been awesome. Paula, the boss, is a very kind and nice and will help to have a lovely stay. The staff has a helpful attitude and will make you feel at home. Excellent location in Senegambia area, close to everything (restaurants, shops...) Definitely a worthy place.

Had holi party at ocean villa heights. The place was very nice, calm and conducive for having fun with your friends. Very close to beachside. Staff of the hotel was very co-operative. We had to park our vehicle outside the main gate coz there was not enough space to accommodate other vehicles.

Very good value for money, excellent food from a very friendly and talented chef. Easy walk to the beach. Clean. Will return if in the vicinity again.

No screens on the windows to let fresh air in, no room on the balcony for a chair to look at the ocean. Unable to torn on or operate the TV.

The Perfect Getaway We have just retuned from an incredible stay on The Smiling Coast of Africa, The Gambia. With the introduction of direct flights, it has never been easier to travel to the African Continent and so we decided to plan the adventure of a life time and visit this little gem of a country, we weren’t disappointed. The hotel we chose was Ocean Villa Heights, we chose the hotel because of the wonderful reviews on this and other sites to guarantee that we would have the highest of standards and a friendly welcoming environment, again we were not disappointed. The rooms, we chose one of three stunning Seaview rooms which was huge, with all the facilities you could expect in a good four-star hotel, we did get a peek into the other rooms and again we would not be disappointed if we had booked any of these either. The location is superb with direct access to a quiet beach, it is a little of the beaten track but this is possible it is biggest charm, away from the noise and congestion of the main tourist area but within a 10-minute drive. The pool terrace and gardens are stunning and there’s always a quiet space to relax and unwind under the gently swaying palms The restaurant was excellent keeping us well fed during our stay, thank you to the Chef and their team for introducing us to Gambian cuisine as well as serving up the freshest of fish and many other favourites. The staff were friendly, helpful and were always there with a smile with nothing too much trouble. Its was the most wonderful introduction to Africa with its colour and vibrance and we cannot wait to return
