Very clean, spacious room with a nice balcony and a good quality mosquito net.. for a good price! Breakfast was good too. There is also a nice patio at the front where you can sit under the tree. It's just under 10 mins in a cab to the coast but it's also in a useful location for the Standard Chartered bank near 'Traffic light' (the best place to get cash out of the ATM). We would stay here again.

Sarawally gesthouse is an excelent place to stay in Gambia. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. It has western toilet, hot water and good pressure. They also have fan inside the rooms and a good wifi signal. The breakfast is delicious: omelettes, homemade bread, cookies and real milk and coffee. They clean the room every day. The owner, Mariona, is so friendly. She helped us a lot.

I strongly recommend anyone who is looking for a comfortable, cosy, local and friendly accommodation to stay at Sarawally Guesthouse! I was living here for a week and I was fully satisfied with every aspect of my stay. My room was cleaned everything. Plenty clean towels. Quiet neighborhood. Great location, located right beside the big Kairaba Avenue, from where u can go pretty much everywhere. It's a 20 min walk to the Fajara beach as well. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend this place 👍🏽

To be honest, Daniela is the one who I believe makes this guesthouse so special. All the times I went there, I was welcomed with open arms and with a smile. She will go above and beyond to make you happy/comfortable. I have not seen anything lile this in a long time and everyone that meets her likes her cause she is so nice and open. I always recommend any friends to stay here if they need a place. They will never regret it as long as Daniela is there. The facilities are quite comfortable as well, there is hot water and wifi. And if you need your clothes washed and ironed, they do it as well. When I am back in the Gambia, I will definitely stay again.

Such a great place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff and strong coffee in the morning. I’m really glad I stayed here and didn’t mind getting to the beach.

This guesthouse managed by a young Spanish/Sierra Leonese couple made my stay in Gambia way better than I expected. As I was solo traveler, they straight invited me for lunch. In the evening, the owner invited me to his party to meet local people. The bed was comfortable, the room clean, the bathroom with hot water and they have a generator in case of electricity problem. Strongly recommended! Diego

Situated near one of main road of Serekunda - Kairaba avenue with banks and shops. Around 25 minutes walking distance from Fajara beach. Silent place. Guesthouse have large rooms with selves where to put things. Everyday change bed wear and clean. Very clean and comfortable place with helpful and kind stuff. Only breakfast always this same - egg meal with bread and cereals.

A bit off main road but only about 10 minutes to cheaper Taxi and restaurants WiFi is unreliable but I used my local data SIM with no problems. Overall very secure place to stay.

Good service from the housekeeper. She was happy to provide an earlier breakfast as we were leaving early the next day. The beds were comfy. Our broken fan was replaced promptly. The shower in the shared bathroom had excellent water pressure.

Great place to stay at. I am not too crazy about the shared bathroom and it could use a little renovation but at this price range, i can’t complain. The room was clean. Great location in the center but in a quite street. Friendly host.

Very nice and caring host, a clean place and very comfortable beds. I had two different Rooms, one with my own bathroom, one eith floor bathroom, both very clean. If I have to stay in the combls again, this is the place to go.

Nice place, great value for the price. A little hard to find so I would recommend coordinating ahead of time with their driver to pick you up. Would stay again.

What a disappointment! I had read the comment and decided to spend my last night in Gambia there. On arrival I asked about the wifi as I needed to send an email. Daniella (who was very nice) told me it was good. Unfortunately it was not. The hotel had a power cut, so no fan, no wifi all night and in the morning. Nobody warned me that this was possible ( power cuts depends on the neighbours and the fact that the hotel have a generic or not) nor did they apologise or offer any kind of gesture. Breakfast was OK. I had to knock on the kitchen door to ask what I needed. To give us the options would have been easier for every body. Coffee, tea eggs and bread, jelly and biscuit but no juice. I understand that the worker was busy, but he was really not welcoming. The owner attitude was the same. When she saw me she just said hello and with the evening and morning we spent in the dark with no electricity the least would have been to come and say a world. I paid 20 euros for the room… When I checked out nobody even said goodbye… I definitely won't be going back to that place and if I had known I would have stayed at my previous guesthouse where for €5 extra I had good wifi, good breakfast, air conditioning and good service.
