Aina draamaa.

Loved our stay at Bee's Mouth. Soloman was a great host - we even came back a second time with a larger group of friends. The food is absolutely stellar. The rooms are great! Comfy and clean. It gets a bit buggy at night but Soloman provides bug nets on the beds and mosquito coils which all help.

I stayed in one of the comfy and great value tipi's, and had a wonderfully relaxing and fun stay at Bees Mouth. The lodge is in a wonderful situation right on the beach, with immediate access to the beach and sea, and with a creek behind it where you can take one of the kayaks for a paddle and some great bird (and monkey!) watching. The owners, Nicky and Solomon, have created a special atmosphere at Bees Mouth so other guests quickly become friends, not least because of the central restaurant/bar chill area, which is the perfect shady place to be pretty much all the time! Great evening meals cooked by Sol and great value trips out, including one to Senegal, were other highlights of my stay. I also loved the wonderful jungle area which offers shade and a wealth of bird-watching opportunities – though many birds can be seen without even moving from your seat in the restaurant. I can’t think of a place I’d rather be when it’s cold at home.

Too bad :( We stayed at this place for two nights . Sadly, I would say I think this has once been a beautiful place carried forward with love. But something seem to have gone a little bit wrong.:( we had to fix the lock in the door ourselves, and when we got up the day we were going to leave. There was no one there and we didn’t get the breakfast that was included. The guy who’s running late. Salomonsen is a very nice guy and I really think he’s trying to do his very very best to make everyone feel welcome. . His food is absolutely stunning and we have two wonderful dinners with seafood potato, salad and salad. I would say that we have a great day but with some faults sadly that made us quite happy for our next journey. We had very good contact with Nikci who is answering on Airbnb and got all the help we needed there in.

My friend and I stayed here at the end of October for a birthday and had the most incredible time with the most incredible of hosts'. Nikki and Sol clearly love what they do, ensuring every effort to make us comfortable and happy was made, for which we cannot thank them enough. Their devotion, attentiveness and care really shines through and, in such an stunning place, we left at the end of our stay with not only cherished memories to last a lifetime, but also with two new friends. Our time there really was something special thanks to you both. Keep it up! x

We had such a great time together with Solomon and Nicky! The place is so lovely and we were the only guests at this time! Breakfast is great and Solomon cooks delicious meals for lunch and dinner time! We went together with them to a reggae party down the beach and the other days to Lamin Lodge and Tanjin! We really recommend everyone staying here! The spot is a little paradise on earth! Nicky and Solomon thank you so much we had a real good time and Nicky get a sudoku book 😉 kind regards Samira and Job

This is a lodge beach bar that is quite different from most others around. There has been as much thought put in the flora and fauna as has been to the buildings and the environment. The selection of delicious food and drinks makes for a very good location be it for a day trip or overnight stay being owner run adds to friendly environment

Niki and Solomon I can’t thank you enough for such an amazing stay.
The Bees Mouth eco lodge was everything I needed and more to unwind. There was a beautiful simplicity to waking up in a teepee and strolling into the ocean to start my day. If only everyday could be full of sun, sea, great company, and Sol’s amazing cooking.
I’ll see you again soon!

It was a pleasure to stay at this lovely place. Nicky and Solomon are really friendly and helpful. I stayed at the tipi, what was a nice experience. You’re really close to the sea and it’s nice and quiet. The only sound you’re hear is the sea. Would really recommend to stay here.

Nicky & Solomon are wonderful hosts, and Solomon is a great cook too!! This lodge is very quite and peaceful, with a vegetable garden, common areas really comfortable and with beautiful finishes. It’s an high-level lodge, few customers to be able to create a familiar feeling with them, and they do. You can choose between adventurous tepees or super comfortable (but still African styled) bungalows. They also have a sort of groove in the backyard, where is possible to sleep in a tent. Price is higher compared to Sanyang standards, but it's so worth it.

The place itself looked amazing already when we found it online. Our plan was staying just for one night but ended up staying 4. We stayed in one of the very cozy Tee Pees, loved it! The view of the beach is just beautiful. Nicky, Solomon and Alphonse totally make the place more awesome than it already is. They’re lovely people. Sol is a great cook! Dont miss his delicious Gambian dishes

This place sets a high standard for lodges in the Gambia. The rooms are very comfortable and clean while retaining the sense of a beachside remoteness that you would look for here. The central roundhouse is a pleasure to hang out in while its elevation offers both a cool sea breeze and a peek at the sea over the natural dune system (and the well stocked bar). This place is a secluded and special place, owned and run by a lovely team who have put their heart and soul into it. Enjoy it while it remains the best kept secret in the Gambia!

Amazing stay at Bees Mouth. These Eco lodges are superbly designed with the central communal area being the hub of relaxation and.chilled vibe. Although the lodges are directly on the beach, Soloman and Nicky have designed a wonderful fenced garden with beautiful planting. Soloman and Nicky are the perfect hosts, available but not overbearing and can arrange trips/taxis etc. They also have 2 kayaks which were perfect to canoe upnthe creek and see some.of Gambias amazing birdlife. In the evening Solomon cooked us the most amazing meal and the breakfast the following morning was fresh and delicious. Wish we had had more time to stay longer!! Will definately be back.

Amazing, peaceful ecolodge with a beautiful beach. Nikki and Sol are incredible hosts, super friendly and clearly love their job. The sandy beach is one of the cleanest I've seen in The Gambia and the waves are incredible! Got to practice body surfing for the first time using equipment provided at the lodge and the tasty eclectic meals whipped up by Sol in the evening were a great end to the night. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who fancies a relaxing sleep on a hammock by the beach.

THE PLACE TO BE! We had two wonderful days at bees mouth ! We stayed at one of the tipis, which i would recommed to all of you guys! So cozy! The beds were comfortable with moscito nets and coils provided. Breakfast (hope you can try sol's ful) and dinner was delicious. But the best thing is the atmosphere here. Besides nicky and solomon - who are great hosts- the other travellers were really nice, so it felt like meeting some old friends.

Fantastic beach front getaway. Right on the beach but with sand dunes so the site feels private and just far enough up the beach that it is nice and quiet whilst still being a few minutes walk to Sanyang village and other bars/ places to eat (not that you need them!). Reasonably newly opened and so all the facilities are new and very well maintained. Room was very clean with hot showers. Well stocked bar and excellent freshly cooked evening meal and breakfast. And some of the fastest WiFi I have come across in the Gambia!! Body boards which are free to use and a fire in the evening. Most importantly the owners are lovely and very accommodating. If you are thinking of a trip to Sanyang beach you probably can't do much better than here!

New 100% ecological beach bar and restaurant with possibility to overnight in a beautifull wooden lodge or in indian tents. Perfect location. Friendly British owners. Area well known by expats. Perfect for a short stay or overnight at one of the most beautiful beaches with a lot of local beach bars. Close to fish market with a lot of beautifull boats on the beach.

Best breakfast in Gambia, go for the full !!!!! OMG it's divine, and home made with so so so much love and wisdom. I'll be back guys, expect me <3 much love and light! Thérèse

(Translated by Google) I definitely recommend it !!! Fantastic place. This is how you imagine your dream vacation on a wild beach. For this you have access to electricity and the Internet, when you can work remotely in the winter months;) And in the break, feel like in the ocean !!! (Original) Zdecydowanie polecam !!! Fantastyczne miejsce.

When we arrived at the Bee's Mouth, we were quite exhausted. Nicky and her husband made is feel way more than welcome. They gave us a home, which exceeded our expectations in any way possible. The property, food, and location (right by the beach, but away from the hustle) are excellent. We loved the attention and thoughtfulness the place was created and tended to. But far more important were the people. The guests, staff were so relaxed and friendly. The atmosphere was fantastic! Nicky and Solomon are the most incredible hosts ever and made our stay extraordinary!! (by the way: as travel bloggers, we get around quite a lot)! To us, Bee's Mouth is THE place to be in the Gambia!!! We are very thankful for the experience and time we spent there!
