I visit Nemasu in September, out of the Sesaion. I was the only Guest and stay in house No9. The personal are very nice and helpful and have the chance to talk the hole night with them! Nemasu is far from all, but when u found a nice Taxidriver like Mamadi, then you get a friend to! The beach is near, clean and very nice! The food is excellent! I come back, and bring music for chill with my friends! I will say thank you for the time!

This place is exquisite built in a wooded hillside sloping gently to the Atlantic Ocean. The staff are fantastic, polite and attentive the menu genuine Gambian or traditional European favourites itโ€™s quite an extensive menu and good selection of drinks including local ones like Sorel, Baobab and Fresh Ginger drink. There is free WIFI which makes up for the patchy mobile connection I would highly recommend this place

The staff here are truly excellent. Extremely friendly and the level of English excellent (even the cleaners spoke excellent English). The food in the restaurant is made from fresh produce and cooked to order from scratch. Throughly recommended.

Peacefull, quiet and safe location. Extremly helpfull staff. Exceptional service at the bar-restaurant. Clean and almost empty beach, looted every morning. Food service at the beach. My kids love this place. They can pick you up from airport and drop you to other place of your choice after stay or make the safari in Senegal for you. If you looking relax away from Senegambia crowd this will be the right choice for you

Have come back here for a second time and the room, location, bar, food and beach area are all very good and perfect for a beach holiday. Wonderful sunsets from the beach or your porch depending on your room. Close proximity to small Kartong (art, nature, various music festivals year round) and large Brikama (market, football team and general hubbub). The weather is reliably hot and sunny every day. Staff are friendly and polite, facilities are all very good except the wifi which is patchy, but at least itโ€™s available. Within a few minutes walk towards the grand mosque on the horizon is a wonderful juice bar and beach side restaraunt called Sun Nest but there are others. We hope more people read this and go and spread their money to the enterprising locals that have started their own beach side businesses and not just keep it in the hotels. Only gripe is that activities and taxis booked from Nemasu are extortionately priced.

A truly beautiful and very affordable place that supports the local community. Friendly staff and the manager work hard to create an environmentally friendly place and create programs that educate others about the importance of sustainable development.

I came across Nemasu Ecolodge through a TikTok review. Loved it! Iโ€™d called and booked a room for a weekend stay and was given assurance that the room had been booked and they were expecting me and my guest. Excited for this beautiful experience as seen on the TikTok review, we drove from Banjul to the location (approximately an hour 17 minutes drive) after close of work, got there at 7-8pm or thereabouts, only to be told that the said reserved room was unavailable. We were told to hold on while they tried sorting it out. We waited for more than 30 minutes, no solution. Beautiful place, no doubt; but we were very disappointed at the customer service. We left the lodge at that time in search of other alternatives. Until such time that Iโ€™d get to experience better, Iโ€™m giving the lodge a 1 star.

The room was okay, the door was not completly stable, the shower also was only kind of working. Service was nice but, "yes you can rent bikes, but not know only when the boss is here. ".. Few hours later boss comes, "He currently has no time" then minutes later "You xan get the bikes now", but they just take us to another place that rents bikes. its okay but I would not call it "renting bikes" Also I do not get why its called eco lodge, I am pretty sure that this is green washing. It should just be called Nemasu Lodge, it should not try to be something, it cannot be.
