The hotel's garden is really nice and calm. It offers a beautiful view on the sea. Service is nice and attentive. Prices are of course comparatively high, which is due to the area the hotel is located in.

Lovely place to visit. The beach is like they say. Smile of the Africa. If you want to experience the beach way. Go to resort.

Staff is friendly but seems like new people that don't want to give wrong information, so they ALWAYS have to ask someone else. Reception is very professional and helpful. Rooms are comfortable with a shower in most cases. There are two swimming pools, for quiet and another for "active" people. 10 minutes or less walking distance to the beach depending where you are lodged. There is nightly programs from 21:00-23:00 and food is traveler friendly continental. Nothing too local or flavorful, but safe enough if you stay away from vegetables. Prices are triple than the regular price for "tourists" and "convenience".

It's alright for a typical African beach. The stroll around the beach is nice. You will be solicited by a lot of juice vendors or for taking a ride on a big beach donkey. For 200 to 400 dalasi a juice It's a bit expensive. But I guess the beachfront tourists will still bite. As a cheap Serrekunda beach boy I preferred the more northern beaches to play some football (⚽️) during low-tide.

While strolling onto the beach from the Kairaba Beach Hotel garden, a beautiful impressive tree caught my eye that seemingly had been chosen by a couple of teenage boys to serve as their "camp" or open air "man-cave" (notice the hammock in the tree) with a pile of broken furniture and rubbish nearby (in 2001 the beach was obviously not yet exploited by the hotels, it was in a quite natural state and was primarily used by the local population for al kinds of purposes). I had a quick friendly chat with the boys, took some photos of them and then continued my short stroll while shooting some more pictures (you can look at them on this Google Maps location).

It’s a nice beach, has some sandy areas but is also one of the few beaches with rocks placed to protect the coastline. This makes it very beautiful and picturesque. I wouldn’t recommend swimming for beginners without a lifeguard on duty, this part of the ocean can sometimes have rapids. Might be the best place around for surfing. Horse rides are also present for about D100 or so

Nice enough sandy beach to walk along at low tide. However, I wouldn’t recommend swimming despite the Senegambia hotel displaying flags. There are strong currents and it is not suitable for more than a paddle.

I stayed in the Senegambia Beach Hotel, a resort on the Senegambia beach for a week. I had access to the beach anytime. It's a very clean beach. There's a beach swimming pool there also.

(Translated by Google) Supper gezelige 3 *. Perfectly located. Many activities, two swimming pools, one for quiet users. Shops in the complex are adjacent to the busy Senegambia strip. No doubt the best 3 * hotel in Gambia if one does not take the price into account. For more info look brochure hotel with pictures attached. (Original) Supper gezelige 3*. Perfect gelegen. Veel activiteiten, twee zwembaden waarvan een voor stille gebruikers. Winkels in het complex grenst aan de drukke Senegambia strip. Zondermeer beste 3* hotel in Gambia indien men prijs niet in rekening neemt. Voor meer info kijk brochure hotel bij fotos in bijlage.

(Translated by Google) Nice hotel with a great African lobby and two pools. I can not judge the rest, since we stayed in the neighboring hotel. (Original) Nettes Hotel mit einer tollen afrikanischen Lobby und zwei Pools. Rest kann ich nicht beurteilen, da wir im Nachbar Hotel gewohnt haben.

(Translated by Google) Good resort, beautiful garden, too bad that the sheets and towels are removed in the morning and only replaced hours later. (Original) Goed resort, prachtige tuin, jammer dat sochtends de lakens en handdoeken worden weggehaald en pas uren later worden vervangen.
