Tea is really good and recommend their cakes . Chocolate cake is really good . Worth the experience of real BOPE tea at this place. Clean washrooms and ample car parking spaces

A must stop place on your way to or way back from Kandy, to relax and enjoy a nice cup of tea. A limited choice of snacks and several flavors of tea to select from. Plenty of parking and dining space, so no rush. Washrooms are clean and tidy. Mlesna branded tea can be purchased from the sales counter downstairs. Authentic Kithul jaggery is served with plain teas.

We made a booking for a birthday celebration. Thah was during the fuel crisis. We actually made the booking 3 hours before the arrival. They had nicely arranged the food and the birthday cake. We are so happy about their high level hospitality. Moreover we cannot forget about the ginger tea they served.That was a lifetime unforgettable memory.

A restaurant with nice atmosphere. Good quality food. Friendly staff. We went there for a late lunch and helpful staff arranged food in a quite reasonable time. Bit pricier but worth.

Mlesns Tea Fortress, Kandy Road, Pilimathalaw is a restaurant and tea shop managed by Mlesna Tea producer. Classy place and great service. But I like if they have more selections in menu. Anyway testy food and vegetarian food also available. There are having many selections of different tea blends of Ceylon tea with discount prices. Eye catching architecture of the place make natural and peaceful place.

Best resturant in Kandy. We started dining in Mlesna Tea Fortress almost 10 years back. Their food quality and taste is very consistent! Very friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended!

One of Kendy's gems...tasty food - big portions! very friendly staff... we arrived during a heavy rain and they greeted us with umbrellas right from our car! Waiter speaks good English.

Fantastic ambience, friendly service, nice food. Trendy place to hang out in. Kid-friendly. Tried the spaghetti carbonara, fried prawns with savoury rice, chicken fried rice and devilled mushroom. The food is definitely great. The wait time was a bit too long, but would come back again.

This place is very relaxing and clean. And also food is really tasty. Price is ok comparing with other places. They served nice tasty delicious foods with good service. I recommend this place.

Excellent place to dine. The quality and taste of the food is really good. The hot chocolate tastes divine. The atmosphere is excellent. There are pictures from the earliest days of the tea industry on the walls so in a way it could be considered a kind of museum to know the origins of tea. The service is really good. The waiter was really courteous and very helpful. A must visit place if you're travelling on the Kandy road.

The best cup of tea i've ever had 👍served with a mouthwatering pancake. Beautiful atmosphere and wonderful staff. Looking forward to visit this place again.

A great place to stop by for a meal or a snack. They have silver tip tea, which is like the highest grade of tea. You can even buy tea from their shop. Loved the food. Ample space for parking. Can highly recommend.

We went for lunch and the food was amazing. The service was excellent, we were greeted with smiles at the entrance itself. We couldn’t get the name of our waiter but he was very helpful and accommodating. The food was clean and light. Very healthy. We had 2 vegetarians and the food was great. Do not miss out on the tea. We got the vanilla tea and earl grey tea and both were refreshing. Get the cheesecake too! The atmosphere was calming and tranquil. Great place to have a meal with friends and family. Would definitely come here again. 😻

They have to do some improvements for food. But atmosphere and the service is excellent. Only fried rice they served for the lunch.
