Barista coffee is one of my favourites. But my recent visit to kandy Branch in arpico foodcourt left me disappointed. It was not the taste I had to experience in the colombo branches. Coffee wasn't hot as well. The cashier or ordertaker is purely a money minded person. He doesn't explain well about the menu. I hope it will improve soon in kandy.

"proper" coffee scarce in Sri Lanka, stumbled on this place by luck as marketing limited owing to placement in botanical gardens exit shop (which I assume is government facility). Excellent coffee, good friendly service. You pay same price as in Europe, which is fair enough given current lack of competition.

This is Peredeniya's only western-style coffee shop, so while it's not great, it's your one of your only options. Because it is housed inside the Peredinya botanical gardens, the only way you cam enter is by buying a botanical gardens ticket, walking through the gardens itself, and passing the giftshop (no external entrance). The place is tiny with only 5 or 6 tables each with 3 or 4 chairs. No place to charge your phone or electronics easily either.

All the reviews for this place are fake as this was opened a few days ago. I ordered the cappuccino, which is supposed to be 380rs according to the price on the wall. One day they charge me 480rs, another day they changed me 600rs and today 450rs. What is going on? I think the staff doesn't know how to run the system. I don't think I'll come here again.

It lived up to its name, being a chocolaty paradise with layers of indulgence. Barista continues to impress with its quality food and beverages. It’s a cozy spot for a meal or a quick coffee break, and I’ll definitely be returning for more.

Just had Cappuccino at Barista express at Arpico centre. Barista very friendly and smiling. Coffee was pretty good, Nice taste and good temperature. Cafe has selection of cakes. If you want more food, the bakery next to it compliments the cafe.

One of the favorite Cofee shop brands in Sri Lanka. Consistency in food quality and taste is commendable. Preparing freshly the Sandwiches are high in quality, hygiene and taste good. My favorite is Smoked Chicken. Coffees are well dosed and quality is very good almost everyday. Also presentation is very pleasant. My Favorite is Caramel Macchiato. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

Located at Arpico Peradeniya, Barista outlet is not very spacious compared to other outlets. However prices of Coffee are much cheaper in comparison to Java. They have a wide variety of hot and ice coffees. My personal favorite is cappuccino. However they should consider an expansion in Kandy as the outlet is not spacious enough to hang around. Service was average.

The Staff especially are very interactive and make the experience phenomenal. The cheese cake is certainly a desert one should try and the coffee itself is a very good value for Money choice.

This is an express outlet, meaning they do not have the full range menu unlike other outlets. However, you can still get your favourites here. I dropped by here for quick coffee and it was a pleasant experience:)

Located within the arpico food court, Barista Express is a great place to grab a coffee, have a snack, and relax. They have a wide range of coffee options along with some wonderful shakes. Easy access and availability of a huge parking lot makes this one of the best coffee shops in the area.

There's barely enough room for the two tables that are in there so I think its geared more towards takeaway orders, although they do have some outdoor seating, no aircon out there though. I just wanted to sit and use the wifi to figure out my next steps. The wifi speed was good and the staff were friendly when I asked a tourist related question. Prices are high for Sri Lanka but not outrageous.
