Sat there for 5 minutes, No servers came by, they only attended foreigners, then went to the counter and ordered a water melon juice and fish and chips. The cashier was confused on how to use the POS system and finally some women came along to punch the order After 10 minutes a server comes with a Lime Juice. Which I sent back away, another ten minutes later he came back with the watermelon juice and followed with the food. While I was eating I can see the servers messing up the orders. The gentlemen next to me ordered plain tea, and he got a milk tea. The lady behind me ordered a strawberry milkshake and she got a watermelon juice. The servers aimlessly walk around asking who ordered what and ends up taking the food back to the kitchen, the service was utterly dysfunctional The decor and furniture is so out of date and not maintained, the bunk bench chairs are loose and squeaky the place badly needs a color wash it looked so dirty. And the food is very mediocre. L300

We were a bit late for the lunch time but a server named Anushka was kind to offer us rice and curry at that time. So thanks for that but, the food was not good at all. The chicken curry and dhal curry was like water. We get a big idea when we say Queen's hotel but here it was totally the opposite. Please take this review for the positive side and hope they would improve in the future.

This place badly needs a lick of paint and a refurb however I also think this adds to the history of the building. I ordered cake. A chicken bun and juice drink. Half the products that are advertised aren’t actually available which is a little confusing. Service was good and staff friendly.

Orderd a tea and a vanila milk shake, sat there for ove 20 minutes, and a server came with two cups of tea, we returned one. It was the worst tea which was extra strong. After about another 10 minutes a server came with a stawberry milk shake which I returned again.

A small pastry shop located near to the odel Kandy. Honestly tea is not tasty. You can try some juices and bakery products. Little bit darker inside the hotel. I prefer to have more light. Try with you guys.

Service is poor. The service takes time and the prices are ridiculously high . The restaurant was not busy at all , however took them 30 + minutes to serve us pineapple juice. I would not recommend this place.

We usually visit this place for a small snack, there service as well as food was good few years back. Now the staff have been changed and service also deteriorated. However, during two recent visits, I experienced a staff member used Saliva when opening bags (Unpleasant and unhygienic during Covid period) I strongly suggest the management to provide damper for that person and please do instruct him the way of using it rather than applying saliva on bags. We never expect such service standard from a reputed hotel owned outlet.

Slow and poor service. The English breakfast is for 700 LRP, it says ( choice of egg, tea or coffee, but the waiter didn't even ask my choice and serve the food for me),it's overpriced with low service. And the juice is not fresh one, is canned juice...Definitely a no no!

Not even valued to put 1 star had two lamp rice for my self wife and kid around 3.20 PM today 1st march 2021. But both the food was spoiled the staff who was on duty didn’t not even apologize for what had happened neither action took he was just standing by the counter like a statue. Not recommended at all.

I good place to stop if you need to get a savory pastry (e.g. chicken) to eat for breakfast or take with you for an easy lunch. This place is historic, so take note of the stained glass and carved wood. The selection is a bit limited and the service can be slow.
