Food and drinks are really great. Chicken fried rice was 760/=. Chicken devilled was really nice. Self service place. Things are expensive than regular shops. Plenty of space available for you to rest. Place was crowded that day. But it was not a problem and still there was space. Can go with your children and family. Safety foods and safety place. As I remember this place was really old. But still it has good service and foods. Highly recommend 💯💯

Excellent food, service, price and atmosphere!! We were shocked by the service because of some reviews complaining about it. We were waited on constantly by friendly staff and even the manager. The food came in good portions for the price. We had the half roasted chicken which was crispy and delicious. The cakes and tea were yummy. It was not very busy at all. Big menu with many options. Highly recommend!!

Nice restaurant, I ordered a Nasi Goreng and one Milkshake. It was very tasty. A clean restaurant. There is nothing wrong to say.

The smell in the restaurant is quite overwhelming. It took us some time to get used to it. The kottu was okay, not the best I had. It was supposed to have cheese, but there wasn’t any cheese. The vegetarian noodles were again okay, just to have something to eat. I didn’t like that much. The staff was very helpful and tried to accommodate us. They explained us the dishes. A The price of the food was very good, but I wouldn’t go there again.

Yummy food. We tried the daytime local cuisine, buffet style serving, but got assisted with that by the incredible friendly staff. Night time was stunning Indian food. Huge portions.

Delicious, fresh food with a lot of flavor! Service was wonderful and everyone was kind. Really enjoyed the chicken dishes, the tea, and the desserts. The fresh fruit salad had pineapple, mango, papaya, and banana. My boyfriend got an entire roast chicken and loved it. Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!

We went to devon restaurant nearly at 7.00 p.m to have a cup of tea. When we got there the staff was not that much welcoming us. Then we ordered the tea and ask for shorties they asked to get them and go away. When we having the tea they turned of the lights as you can see in the pictures. So i think it would be better if you don't go there after 6 p.m. The tea was also cold and after drinking that felt not well. So sad to say that devon restaurant is falling down there business. Forget to say that they mobed the floor when we having the tea. When we were going to go i slipped because of the floor was wet.

Devon is a place with the cheapest best Sri Lankan food that i ever had. Especially the rice with vegetable and egg curries. Reading other reviews, it seemed that there would be a long line. But the place is huge and comfortable and easy to find a seat. And what goes beyond your expectation is the live music at such low prices of food. Devon made it worth visiting Kandy! Kandy visit is incomplete without eating at this place.

Tasty food, best value for money in town. Parking is at KCC or municipal parking. Visited by many locals and visitors to Kandy to have good food at reasonable prices. Gets really busy during lunch time. A good variety of Sri Lankan, Indian and Chinese food and snacks. The fruit salad with ice cream is really worth. All self-service and no waiters. Customer service, cleanliness in toilets are areas for improvement. The best for value for money in Kandy.

The restaurant is very spacious and neatly arranged counters. Food is arranged in a buffet style and has very good food options. Desserts also are very favourable and sold separately. Overall good Sri Lanka cuisine and a welcoming nature. Service was quick and also had a beautiful ambience.

Was there for lunch. We enjoyed the chicken Biriyani and the hot hot Samosa. As always Devon food was testy. Would like to mention Nishantha for his excellent service!

Indian cousin was super tasty. Low prices. However they could think more about cleaning, not touching plates , wearing gloves especially during covid time. Nevertheless it was nice experience

This is an iconic restaurant in Kandy. I’ve been here many times before for fruit salad, they were the best. Their pastries are also very good. This time, it wasn’t good at all. They really have to improve this.

A massive space with all types of snacks and meal options. We had lunch here and it was an OKAY meal. However it was a buffet for about 800 rupees if I'm not mistaken. I had some fried rice and hot butter cuttlefish. One serve of that was enough for a giant like me so I'm assuming for an average person it would be a bit too much. It's located in the Kandy city, easy access and the portion size is worth the money. Good place to grab a quick bite.

They are famous for their short eats among the residents in Kandy. Anyway we had our lunch there. Even though it was fully occupied they served us very quickly. Prices are not too high with respect to the quality and the taste. But if you like to spent your time freely and quietly then this is not your place. Since it is overcrowded there was high noise all around. But if you look for a medium budget meal then this place is ideal for you.

This restaurant is situated near Sri dalada maligawa ( The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic) in Kandy Town. A crowded place.Normal food price. I don't like the pastry items here except Fish burger.Chicken pizza is the worst item.There were somthing on top of that little pizza but surely not chicken.I bought a Hot milo drink.That was not good.Nestea also not good.Nescafe is ok. Cakes are my favorite item of here.I bought chocolate cakes, Ada cakes and mocha cakes.They were fresh and delicious.

A huge restaurant that locates in Kandy city. Average crowded some days and very busy place. Anyway, the staff is not friendly. They don't have good customer service. Cant happy with that service. Also, the food is not much expensive but also doesn't have good taste. I orderd buriyani and faluda. The worst Faluda that I ever had. It is only coloring and artificial flavors.

It's good that this place not oriented on tourists, because prices are much cheaper than in other restaurants.There is no beautiful view and interior actually like in other public cantines.

We ordered 3 items but cheese koththu is not tasty 😕...

They only provide a quality service for foreigners and don't care us at all. At least they haven't clean the desk before serving me the plate. And also, they didn't gave me a spoon, gravy or any sauce. If I went to a normal restaurant, they provide a quality service than the Devon. Hate the whole staff and I won't hope to go there again.
