Went there today, the guied was nice and spoke fine english, even though the exvursion was fast, and we understood that its a comercial tea plantation that everyone want to get fast money, but the guied was friendly and the only thing is worth here is the view you got on llantation! Only for this it worth to come and walk through the fields! Be awere of kids and annoying people falling you and ask u for money , if u see they try to talk to you, they will ask you for money, if you take a picture they will ask you for money! The tea inside was good, comfortable place to rest, even though they wanted to cheat on us, saying it was a free try they asked for money😅. We said we will not pay as we already tipped a guied and she said it was free at the end they said nothing! So pay attention so they don’t cheat at the coffeeshop! For explanation we rather advise you to go to Glentoch tea plantation which is just 15 min away and u get good nice explanation but its smaller but cozy atmosphere!

A beautiful place to break journey on your way to Nuwaraeliya. There is ample parking space and the area is beautiful, the tea shop smells devine and I would say all tea connoisseurs should visit this shop.. A wide variety of teas, in tea bags, and leaves boxes are available. All tea has been manufactured by the blue field tea company, and I bought their signature Masala Chai for myself and relatives also as the aroma of the tea leaves were to die for. I love it and I will continue to shop there. They have several flavours like vanilla, chocolate mint, lemon, ginger etc. The cafe is run by a delightful set of energetic and friendly boys and girls. Their ability to remember our exact order even without jotting it down is nothing short of amazing. The milk tea is sublime. I would caution people to ask about the doughnut because we were once unfortunate to sample a maybe old one, the taste was a bit rancid. The short eats are fresh and tasty and pricing is fair. The washrooms are kept clean and although they are small, they are perfectly adequate for a small stop over. There is a spacious and nice play ground for kids under the age of 12.. from swings to slides, seesaws, merry-go-rounds and various other fun additions are here.. Its actually hard to get the kids to leave once they walk into the place. All in all, a delightful place, and one which sees its fair share of customers.. Bluefield is a lovely place to stop over, enjoy some refreshments, drink a delicious cup of milk tea and take a rest on your long trip to Nuwaraeliya. Don't forget to go to their tea boutique and purchase the range of their own Bluefield tea.

My Google Review # 000042. A true tea field experience. Much better than other tea fields. You can visit this one on your trip down from Nuwara to Kandy. Spread across huge expanse of land, this tea factory, its tour and the showroom was setup much better than Handunugoda Tea Estate. The factory tour was given by their manager, who was well versed with the subject. He didn't rush into the presentation either. You will get a fair idea of the types of teas and how they are cultivated. The tea sample is served for free, sans the cake! The shop for purchase of tea is well laid out and you can get some real good packaging for gifting them back on your return to home town. If you are an India, be watchful as the tea is quite expensive to buy here, just like elsewhere in SL. Be careful of the field workers as they will pester you for more money once you go to the fields to get some good snaps. Be firm. Nothing is required to be paid to them officially. On account of humanity, it is your wish. Date of Experience : March 2019.

One of the oldest tea factories in Sri Lanka. It is functioning since 1921. Recently went there for a tour and the tour guide was very informative and helpful. Also, they have super quality premium products to purchase from their shop.

It's worth visiting if you order a guided tour in the factory. I'm not sure if the tea degustation is included, but we had one in a cosy place. Of course, there's a tea shop, but the prices are a bit high.

We had a great experience here! It is a functioning tea factory. Access is free of charge. If required, you can ask for a guide who will explain the whole process of making tea. The factory produces quality tea for foreign markets and their products not available in the local market. But, you get the chance to purchase those quality tea products from their outlet. There are lots of varieties available, including flavored tea options. There is a lounge available with snacks. Clean washroom facilities are there for visitors. Huge parking space is available. Lunch buffet is available, even though I didn't have the meals there.

It is a very special place that you can visit whenever you get a chance in your life. This place is located in Rambodai on the way to Nuwara Eliya. In this restaurant we can taste some of the most expensive health teas in Sri Lanka. and is made from a rare type of tea grown in the coldest highlands of Sri Lanka We can also buy tea powder from this restaurant.🤗🌱🍽️

If you want to know about tea processing this factory provides you a guide for free along with a good tour of the process. Of course it's best if you would tip your guide.

An attraction fully worthing a visit. You get the chance for a close look at the whole process of tea production from the natural plantation to the factory production and finally to the promotion and sales. You’ll know the different varieties of tea and look at old machinery withdrawn from production and exhibited outdoors.

This tea factory experience felt more quaint and intimate than some of the others in the area. We were treated to complimentary tea at the end of the visit and we also purchased some delicious baked goods. I definitely recommend to stop here if you are in the Nuwara Eliya area.
