Opposite of ever-beautiful St.Clairs & Devon falls, this place is the best to take a quick break with your loved one. Best to sit outside to enjoy the tea with a piece of cake. Must try the black tea with a Popular chocolate cake. You can also buy a variety of tea packets from the shop at a reasonable price. Staffs are friendly and will nicely explain each type. The car park is available inside as well as the roadside. A must-visit place if you're around Thalawakale/Hatton.

A beautiful place to relax and drink tea. There is a tea factory nearby. One of my favorite teas. Opposite is a beautiful view of the waterfall.

This place is really famous amongst travellers who visit Nuwara Eliya. It's right by the side of the road and it offers rather fair view of the water falls. The tea served here is exceptional and they have a variety of other foods you can choose from. The hot dogs are one of my favorite here and it isn't that too bad with a bit cup of Ceylon Milk Tea.

Located on the Awissawella-Hatton-Nuwaraeliya (A7) highway as it passes the town of Thalawakelle in the Nuwaraeliya district of the Central province of Sri Lanka. Operated by the St. Clare's tea estate on which it is situated , this quaint little tea shop of old-world charm offers a great cup of tea with cake and savory snacks. Located on a highly scenic point of the road the bonus is the popular Devon Waterfall view point which is just across the road. All types of Sri Lankan tea leaves too are available for sale here. Ample parking available. A must-visit !

Situated in a beautiful location with a wonderful Devon full view. Exterior looked like a castle and the interior was so calming. They have a museum in the down floor with a miniature instruments used in the tea factory.

Nice place to take short brake during travel and can get some quality tea products. So you can take tea and snacks from here with seeing devon waterfall. Nice looking old building. Little bit expensive comparing with local shops.

Superb location to have a relax and taste a highland tea from this place. I spent half an hour way from Colombo to Nuwaraeliya. Cake - Brownie is excellent. Served hot hot. Not too cost. Taste is good. Also the tea is served nice.

Located on the convex edge of a curve with a dedicated car park offering views of the Devons Falls. The place looks nice with greenery and a set of concrete chairs set outside. The inside also contained a number of areas to sit, as well as the sales area. The walls were decorated with pictures showing the origins of tea. In the far corner was an antique weighing machine. There were 2 very well maintained washrooms for customers to use as well. While the scenery and ambience was great, the tea was frankly terrible, with the milk tea tasting more like water than any sort of tea. To top it off the price of the tea was Rs. 120. If you're going there for the tea, you'd be woefully disappointed.

It is one of the best spots to have a rest in your lengthy drive to Nuwara Eliya. Provides the best view of the Devon Waterfall on Hatton-Nuwara Eliya road. Their prices are reasonable and provide a good service as well. Clean washroom facilities are also available.

As the Central province is very famous for its tea exports, this is a great place enjoy the high quality tea products with a breathtaking, overarching view of the mountains and St.Clair's Fall. This is a great place for a quick stop on the way to the hill country as the place have some amazing photo opportunities, quick bites and great tea.

Best place to have tea on your way to Nuwara Eliya via the Hatton road. Drinking tea with chocolate cake and steaming fish rolls with a view of Devon falls is an experience which is both nostalgic and difficult to beat. The staff is friendly and you can buy St. Clair tea from their shop. Definitely recommend.

Had a great variety of tea. The flavoured teas are even better than the bigger name brands. Almost all the teas had loose tea option as well as the pyramid tea bags. Wish it was more available beyond Nuwaraeliya.

No word express atmosphere of this place but Not much selection of teas and chocolate cake is good And be caution when you cross the road it’s located on bend of the road and get help from from other side of the road

Beautiful place to taste a cup of tea with a piece of chocolate cake. Mandatory stop if you are heading to Nuwara Eliya by your own vehicle.

Doesn't serve highland / upcountry Tea. Just a shop selling packaged tea with a possibility of mediocre cup of tea and a clean toilet. TOILET:- Scottingpan only. Not proper modern toilet

A tea center that sells loose leave tea and tea bags from St. Claire’s tea farms. The small shop has many varieties and the prices are reasonable. If you go to DAMRO tea you will realize the pieces are five times more than here. However here they have no discounts and prices are fixed.

👍👍 The appearance looks exactly like a castle. Nice place to take a rest and to have a cup of tea or coffee. The place has a beautiful garden which they have maintained very well. There are different varieties of tea, green tea and coffee to try out. A bit expensive but worth the price. Great customer...
