There are pedal boats, jests, horse riding facility and local food stalls so you will not need to go leave the place in case your attention span is consumed from one activity. Took lots of photos! It is a beautiful and well maintained garden around a nice Lake. I think it is one of the popular spots in Nuwara Eliya. You need to buy tickets to go in. The lake has different boating facilities and it is a huge attraction. Especially the fast boats are very popular. The park itself is quite spacious to walk around.

Named after Sir William Gregory in 1873, this is a prominent attraction used for water sports and recreational activities. Lake Park, Boat Rides are available. Can be reached by sea plane which takes only 30 minutes from Colombo. At the southern end of the town is Gregory Lake where the holiday makers can enjoy a leisurely walk on the paved walk ways, with swan shaped paddle boats for the more adventurous. There are pony rides round the lake for the kids and even adults, with plenty of fast food stalls located in a separate area where one can enjoy a meal or a snack.

Gregory Lake is a great place for a walk especially on a Sunday when the Sri Lankan's visit for a day out in the sunshine. There's boat rides, cycling, horse riding and if all you want is a walk then it's the place for you. Lots of little cafés for a snack too

A must visit place in Nuwareliya. Nice atmosphere. It has a walking path for a long walk around the lake. You can try various water rides. Wonderful place to see many flower plants and decorative plants. Evening it's a busy place and a fun place to be. Don't forget to bring your jacket, it gets colder near the lake and when you are on rides in the lake.

Visiting Gregory Park and its lake was captivating because of its beauty. The park is very well maintained, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Boating on the lake was a highlight, providing a serene experience amidst the lush greenery. However, the cleanliness of the lake and jetties could be improved, and standardizing boating fares would enhance visitor experience. Overall, Gregory Park is a delightful escape for nature lovers. The park is open till 6 30 pm, and it is a unique experience to sit near the trees in the evening and watch hundreds of birds come back to their nests from every direction.

Very beautiful park by the lake with many boating options, speed boat l, paddle boat and motorized boats. There are many food and beverage stalls inside the park. Please note there is a fee of 600 Srilankan rupees for all foreign nationals. During winters it gets chilly after sunset due to the winds gushing near the lake side. This place is a little crowded during the weekends. However the atmosphere is superb.

This place is very famous among the travellers through Nuwara Eli town. It has a large area of grasslands and lake. In season (April) the heavy crowd gather in this area because there are carnivals. You can have boat rides cycle rides, horse rides and many other activities. The entry fee was Rs 50/= (20/04/2021).

This is the most beautiful place in whole of Nuwereliya. This park is long but not very wide. It has couple of walking trails around part of the Gregory lake. We had a nice time walking around it and viewing the lake scenery and landscaped garden features and flowers.

Gregory Lake is a wonderful location for spending the day. There are 3 main attractions you can choose from. 1.Boat riding 2. Cycling 3. Horse(pony) riding. Boat riding has multiple options, like slow boat, speed boat, jet ski and self paddling boat (hansa boat) You can negotiate and get a good price. We paid 1500/= for 4 people for 20 minutes of slow boat riding) 200/= for a 1 hr of cycling.

Very cool weather place in Nuwereliya city. I went with my family at the end of March. This is the place to enjoy the vacations with your children. Here, we have lots of entertainment arrangements such as speed boating, it takes 10 minutes to around the lake, and normal boating with 7 persons. Horse riding, different kinds of foods are available. There are lots of little shops in the lake area. So u can buy the jackets if u want.

The lake is the centre of attraction in Nuwara Eliye. One can do boating also in the lake. Beautiful lake with park full of flowers . There are also small cafes inside where you can have some snacks and enjoy the beautiful lake view.

Good place, but recently it got crowded with cheap sellers & low quality boat rides. Entrance was totally free in the past, but now everyone has to pay to enter the park. Flora is pleasant. It's a relief to see that bees & birds are still hovering near them. The major bad thing is the overcharged entrance fee.

Closing time for boats 6.PM after six they won't do any boat trips. One of the main attractions of NE. Gregory Park is maintained well by the local Authority. It has a vehicle entrance so you can park your car easily in the Park carpark. Park has a beautiful Gregory Lake where you can enjoy both boat rides and water sports. In the holidays season you can enjoy the helicopter ride starting from the Park as well. With the family, I had an unbelievable time. There are several entertainments and activities to choose from. The majority of visitors are drawn to the boating services. It's a great spot to take the family for some fun. Tickets must be purchased at the entry. It's a lovely and cool setting.

It’s a good Park Good vibes, photogenic place You have to take a ticket worth 500LKR pp (Foreigners), which I fell is a little high side for a reason it’s just a park. You can do a boat ride or horse ride there. We hardly spent 30 mins there and paid 1000 LKR. I didn’t find worth the price. Anyways it gives you a vibe for Mini England (from Outside also ) 🤪
