One of the best food serving places in Matale to be honest!! Mostly known for their fresh and appetizing Short-eats.. specially rolls Pattis and Chicken bun.. Their kottu used to be exceptional but now it's a bit crusty and less flavoursome Other than that I Highly recommend their Rice and curry or Fried rice.. 👍👍

Quick stop for a decent snack around the Matale area? This place got you covered. Nothing spectacular that stands out, but nothing much to complaint either. Pricing is reasonable, service is acceptable and location is prime.

Always a good experience at Home Seas, Matale. The restaurant has been functioning for decades, but has managed to preserve its unique flavour profile through the years and several changes. The Biriyani is a specialty and the different short eats are always freshly made, hot and tastes good. The place would benefit from a revamp in terms of cleanliness and ambience. But all in all, you get what you pay for. A solid 4/5.

We ordered lunch for 5. The potion was really small. Even my 4 year old couldn't fill her stomach. The quality had gone down drastically

I do not recommend this place for fried rice and egg rotti. Bought three fried rice and two egg rotties last night fried rice was tastes horrible no salt added seems like just rice served with boiled chicken, chicken was overboiled by the way. The curry served for the rotti was not a curry it was chilly powder mixed with water. Be aware people when you going to buy fried rice and egg rotti in this place because at the end of the day we need to be satisfied with the dinner.

Food was pretty good for the price. Ordered chicken biryani and fried rice. Got two generous portions with extra brinjal moju, potato fry and gravy. Chicken was fried but not too oily. Food was tasty. Service was good. Cleanliness is ok. Prices are reasonable.

The food is tasty and curries as well.. And the price is reasonable. Ordered a Chicken friend rice sawan, apart from a whole chicken they offer 4 curries. These guys are doing a great job!

Had a pathetic experience today. Went to have lunch with family a group of nearly 12 adults went. No proper attention given and we had to go to counter to order everything. One of the pure vegetarian ordered a vegetarian rice and curry and got sprats in a salad. We ordered for chicken curry with rice and they provided Fried chicken saying it's the available one. When we questioned we couldn't get a responsible reply. Will never recommend to anyone.

Good food Although the quality has somewhat declined over the years. But the bakery goods are just top tier 👌 no other store ever compares.

We took out lunch. It was tasty and reasonably priced. However the parcels of rice and curry we bought had more rice and less curry. It would be better if they reduce the amount of rice and put some more curries.
