Food used to be quite good here. May be they changed the chef? Waiter was nice that's all. Food was bland. The rice was over cooked and smelled like it's been burned. There is no chiken in the chiken fried maybe few pieces. Nasigoreng tasted same like the fried rice the only change was the color and the capsicum. I don't know what they thinking. This absolutely ridiculous. Not recommended at all.

A hidden gem in Bandarawela! Just discovered the New Chinese Hotel last Saturday - clean, delicious meals at fair prices. The veggie curry was incredible! & Such a deal for the quality of food. Perfect spot for lunch or dinner!

Located close to the Bandarawela town, getting to this place would prove a bit difficult during lunchtime due to traffic congestion. But its easy to find and interior is acceptably clean. Waiters are polite and will accurately convey our little preferences to the chef. Nothing wrong with the food and tastes OK.

We had a wonderful dinner at this New Chinese Hotel. The chef for our meal was a Mr. Benedict, who cooked a sumptuous dinner for us. And the cost of the meal was very reasonable, too.! Highly recommended!
