Fabulous
hotel
situated
on
a
hill,
with
fantastic
views
overlooking
Kandy.
My
room
was
wonderful
-
with
a
cute
little
balcony.
You
do
have
to
remember
to
close
your
balcony
door
and
windows
though,
as
monkeys
are
known
to
enter
rooms
and
ransack
them!
Breakfast
was
really
nice,
with
lots
of
choice.
Wifi
in
my
room
was
good.
You
can
get
a
tuktuk
or
taxi
to
transfer
you
to
and
from
the
heart
of
Kandy.
I
walked
from
The
Temple
of
the
Sacred
Tooth
Relic
to
the
hotel,
and
it
took
me
around
25
minutes.
The
reason
Iβve
marked
down
the
hotel
is
because
of
an
incident
on
my
2nd
night,
involving
another
tour
group.
They
were
in
the
bar
until
after
midnight,
and
making
a
lot
of
noise.
The
bar/dining
area
was
directly
above
my
room,
where
they
were
dragging
chairs
along
the
tiled
floors,
and
shrieking
loudly.
Thereβs
an
open
staircase
connecting
the
two
floors,
and
the
noise
was
immense.
I
felt
their
behaviour
was
really
inconsiderate,
and
was
just
about
to
go
upstairs
to
complain
when
I
heard
them
departing.
They
then
went
to
their
rooms
and
were
drunkenly
banging
the
doors
for
another
good
few
minutes.
At
this
point
Iβd
had
enough,
I
opened
my
door
and
told
them
to
shut
up!
During
my
two
weeks
touring
Sri
Lanka,
most
mornings
required
an
early
start,
so
I
didnβt
want
to
be
kept
awake
until
2am
by
other
peoples
noise.
Perhaps
the
hotel
could
be
more
mindful
and
move
the
bar
to
another
area,
or
better
still
-
close
it
at
a
reasonable
time.
