An evening sunset view from my place of business Auto Hub. The views from up the mountain is superb👌 it's a must see attraction if you are passing Gampola. Lovey place to spend an afternoon with family or friends. Can walk up the mountain as well. I would recommend the walk up hill. Climate is a bit cooler up there and the sunset 🌄 is a must see attraction. You get to see the Gampola city from up there. Some say you can see the sea from the tip of the tower 🗼 on a clear day but I have never experienced. Be careful though it's very narrow up there and many sad incidents have been reported.

Reaching the top of Ambuluwawa one can experience the most amazing views which could sometimes be covered by the ongoing mist. However, once the mist clears off the view can be scary and freak out climbers, especially those who have a fear of heights. Do note that hiking Ambuluwawa is not at all dangerous or risky, but it would not be the ideal kind of adventure for those with a fear of heights. Avoid leaning on the railing to capture photographs especially at the top as this is extremely risky and one could easily slip off from here. Ambuluwawa is a relatively easy hike to do which gives you 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains, forests, rivers and towns.

Top rated tourists destination. The charming old city of Kandy is located in the central part of Sri Lanka, surrounded by fascinatingly beautiful mountains, The city’s heart is the scenic Kandy Lake (Bogambara Lake), which is popular for strolling. Kandy is one of the country’s major cultural and religious centers, famed for sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine, celebrated by the grand Esala Perahera. The city offers numerous attractions and sights, from tropical forests to tea plantations and spice gardens. Ambuluwalwa is considered one of the must-visit places in Gampola, a small town situated close to Kandy. It is about 1,965 feet from the level of Gampola town. The entire place is richly diverse, comprising of evergreen forests, blossomed flower plants as well creepers, with about 200 different kinds of plants from 80 plant families. A number of medicinal plants are also grown here, namely Iramusu, Muva Kiriya, and Nawa Handi. There is a key reason behind the cool mountain air. Ambuluwawa is surrounded by other mountains such as Pidurutalagala on the Eastern side, Bathalagela (Bible Rock) on the West, Sri Pada (Adams Peak) to the South, and the Knuckles range in the North. Ambuluwala is the only Sri Lankan mountain peak surrounded by other mountains adding exquisite beauty to the scenery. The Ambuluwawa summit has more scenic qualities, with water and stone parks, as well twin ponds; deer are also seen on the top of the mountain. You can spend some relaxing time with your family and get some amazing pictures from the top of the mountain.

Must visit place to see this amazing view. When it’s misty, it’s like you are among the clouds you can’t see anything. You can go to the the top where the tower is located by any vehicle if you’re good at driving in hill areas. Tuk tuk drivers charge around Rs. 700 for round trip. You can even walk if you like. They have arrange several places with benches for people to relax. But it’s better drive or get a tuk if you accompany elderly person.

Place was ok but we were bit disappointed after seeing the Tower entrance and internal sections. It was smelling bad and so much of dirt, plastic bottle etc on the tower. When you climb up, it was an amaizing experience but we could reach the top as it was a crowded day. People on top is not willing to come down so we waited for few minutes and decided to came back.

The Ambuluwawa biodiversity complex is one of the most contentious development projects in recent memory due to its environmental impact. I'd always wanted to visit there to see the true extent of the damage done to the environment. while climbing the steep hill anyone can notice how fragile the new constructions are and its effect on the once untouched mountain peak. be extremely conscious of the environment and plz refrain from polluting and harming the environment further.
