One of the best secret Beach in West Costal. One few minutes drive from Colombo. You should go in the morning as in the evening there are lots of people coming to the Beach. Beach is clear but it's not advise to swim if your not a expert. Usually no recuse team close by

The beach also is Nice and relax place to calm your mind. Morning it is very good for mind relaxation exercises like yoga and meditation with a cool breeze, (you have to select a place to your requirement.) Evening you can enjoy the colourful scene of Sunset. What a relax place..... There are churches, fish markets, hotels, restaurants, food shops, grocery shops, pharmacies are also there in the vicinity.

A long and beautiful beach. But there were a lot of rubbish. Watch out for sea urchins among the rocks. Not sure about bathing here, didn't see anyone at the time i visited.

Pease of serenity in the vicinity of urban area.beach entrances are not firmly establish and the beach is not maintained ,accept that and go their for the sunset.fishing is done in most of the mornings.and no coast guards and also not suitable for swimming in most of the areas.Still it is refreshing to embrace the breeze.

I do recommend this for its taste and quality. But seems like they have some system issue. I made an online order but until I call them after 30 minutes to check the status the order has not reached the store

Had a great time with relatives on the Uswetakeiyawa, St. Mary's church feast day. Had nice view of sunset, can wait hours spending & watching the sunset, really nice and had a chance to see a rainbow 🌈 while enjoying. The place we were is safe for kids as well. Kids also had a lovely time there. Ditchy stretch surrounded by rocks. Have to be extra careful with slippery rock surfaces, both kids aswellas adults. Enjoy your day anytime at any beach with extra care and always obey safety boards, signs or flags if they are displayed. Since no such a thing at this place it is advisable to check with the people nearby for their comments also.

No words 5 stars only. You will give once you go there. Unimaginable beach side it's remain me of Doha corniche Very near from Negombo. You can see the colombo skyline from this beach that's the wonderful view in the evening. Very different waves looks amazing. Need to develop the this beach is must. It's one of the hidden gem for me bcoz when I followed the Google map to follow the colombo rote from negombo I got the pamunugama road to go there in that way I got this amazing silent place.
