I would recommend to visit this place at least one time. The rooms looks well equipped and the environment is calm and chilled to do anything you want. The staff is very supportive. We really enjoyed the food and the stay. One of the unforgettable places I've been hope to come again soon.

A luxurious villa set just a few hours away from Colombo. Staff is well trained and quite courteous. Nice cozy place for a quiet holiday. Not much to do though if you have kids. Lovely private beach just a 5 minute walk away. However, there are some aspects where they can surely improve on. The door locks in the rooms should be revamped. They are too colonial and difficult to manevour. The TV in the room has a very low choice of channels available. The cane chairs in the dining area need to be replaced as they are difficult to move around - no way of gripping them. The room we stayed in had only one chair - you need at least two inside the room. The curd and honey on the breakfast menu is to die for. But no idea why it's on the international breakfast and not on the Sri Lankan one!

From the very beginning, Nishanth and his team were incredibly supportive and helpful in helping us plan and execute our wedding. They were always available to answer our questions and make suggestions, and they went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly on the big day. We returned several times before the wedding and the team always made themselves available to discuss plans with us. They even took the time to show us around every single room in the villa so that we had all the information we needed. The team also went out of the way to decorate the bar area for our welcome drinks with fairy lights and it looked stunning! We were really touched by all the effort they went to throughout. The villa itself is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the ocean and beautifully appointed rooms and common areas. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive, and they made sure that our every need was taken care of. The food was unbeatable - our favourite was the lamprais! The head chef Nalaka also ensured that our special meal requests were catered for. We really feel like the Villa is a home away from home. All in all, we can't recommend The Villa Bentota by KK Collection highly enough. If you're looking for a truly magical holiday location or even a wedding experience, look no further. We had the most amazing time during our stay here. Everything from the rooms, premises, pool, restaurants and location were just perfect. The staff are superlatively warm, professional and made sure our whole stay was memorable. Rooms are beautifully spaced, aesthetically designed and nothing short of luxury. Restaurant staff were kind enough to customise our meals and yet retain the local flavours intact. The location of the property, Geoffrey Bawa’s architectural remnants, beach access and most importantly the train line adds to the whole charm. Resident Manager Kalpa and his team are just the best and we are forever thankful for the best time ever. This property is highly recommended

We stayed one night here and I wish it were a longer stay! The hotel and location is gorgeous; broad lawns, many palm trees and the ocean a short walk away. And the most fun part - for us, anyway, - was having train pass right next to the property frequently through dinner. it doesn't blow its horn so it's not an annoyance, it's just great atmosphere. The shop has interesting things we didn't see elsewhere. The room (#5) was enchanting, with two small balconies, mosquito netting over the bed, excellent linens, and a windowed shower. Dinner and breakfast were both fine and beautifully presented. This is a very special hotel.

We stayed at Villa Bentota for 4 nights at the start of December and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff could not have been kinder and friendlier and did their absolute best for us every day we stayed. The facilities were lovely - 2 pools and a wonderful facial and back madssage in the spa. The rooms were spacious and cleaned twice daily and just a wonderful place to be and a perfect hotel to end our trip on. Thank you so much for having us and making our stay so memorable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful architecture by Sri Lanka's greatest architect, Geoffrey Bawa. Worth it just for that. But the quality of the facilities and the friendliness of the staff also make this place very special.

We had a very nice stay here! It’s a stunning hotel with charming and helpful staff, beach access, tasteful decor, large gardens, spacious and well put together bedrooms, and massive pool. The Sri Lankan food is delicious, the western food is pretty good, and everything is reasonably priced (think $7 per main dish). The bar offers cocktails and is a pretty spot to spend the evening. Things that could be better: the restaurant could use a lick of paint and some updating; the hot water and shower is a bit tricky to figure out (room 6); the boutique shop wasn’t open; our massage wasn’t amazing. But that’s nitpicking. Overall, a lovely stay in a beautiful place, with some small areas of improvement. Thanks!

I didn't actually stay in the accommodation, I did have lunch there and I looked at 3 rooms which were excellent in the layout and the colour pallet. Our lunch was excellent and the service was fantastic too. The gardens are great and the pool looked very inviting. The train track is right adjacent to the property and is novel.

The villa benthota has a lovely and romantic ambience which made me to select it as the venue for my engagement. The villa is super luxury with many photo locations. The staff was highly committed and supported us to make our dream engagement a reality. The food was really delicious and the buffet was arranged nicely. The room we booked for the bridal dressing was super luxury with classy architecture. The location where we did our first look was amazing. Mr. Rachitha was one of the most supportive among the staff. I appreciate the commited service and the flexibility of all the staff members. I would recommend The Villa Benthota by KK Collection to anyone who's looking for a luxurious party experience.

We had a very pleasant stay. Food was really good and the staff was very friendly. One thing is that the menu was in dollars so with the exchange rate it was a bit on the pricey side.

Beautiful place go and relax. It is very calm and quiet. Nice large garden. Access to the beach. Food is good. They should improve the food options. Overall happy with it. Happy to recommend it.

we came few times, for drinks, coffee and dinner. I cannot recommend buffet dinner, but a la carte dinner was very good. fresh prepared seafood or pasta. very nice drinks and good coffee. property is well maintained.

My husband and I went to The Villa Bentota for our honeymoon in August 2022. We had a lovely relaxing stay. The property is nice and very tastefully decorated. We stayed in a suite room and it was comfortable and had a nice view of the garden. The pool was nice and warm, relaxing for a swim in the evening. The staff was also helpful and polite. The food was definitely a highlight for us. Almost all the dishes we had were outstanding, special mention to the French Toast and Treacle Tart which were exquisite. Overall we had a lovely stay and a relaxing time, with great food!
