THEY COOK PORK This place is not ideal for Muslims because they save pork. The location is cool and the washrooms are very clean. If we want to use the washrooms we need to order something at the restaurant. So we ordered tea. Each and every menu had pork option. We were scared to try even their vegetarian dishes.

The surrounding was awesome and the room prices were reasonable. The atmosphere in the rooms were comfortable and lovely. However the food prices are too high which is really really unreasonable. They charged us over for no reason when it comes to food. Recommend it without food.

Just got in here. Very pleasant, accommodating and kind host. Beautiful view from the shared balcony. Good clean room too. Spacious room. About to experience the food..let me update the review after the second day of my stay. Ok...about food. Food is ok but nothing very special to write about. Overpriced but you will get everything which is on the menu..even prawns and cuttlefish. Higher pricing maybe due to the fact they have to bring most of their sea food from down south. Well...anyway...I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in a peaceful environment.

The rooms were quite large and very clean. Owner was really friendly ready to provide anything you request. Food was delicious too. You can view the Sri Padaya (Adam's peak) from your room it self.

Located at the heart of the Maskeliya town, opposite to famous Maskeliya reserve lying on top of the old city this is one of the great places to stay. The rooms and Washrooms are very good and clean. The balcony view is spectacular. From your room can witness the beautiful Adam's Peak. You get the best view from the top floor however the ground-level room is also good. Mouthwatering food at a reasonable price. Rooms charges are also very reasonable. The host including the staff is very friendly, helpful, and supportive. Highly recommended place if your looking for a decent place around Maskeliya.

We've been there for 3 days. The room is good enough. No insect, clean, nice view. Sometimes not hot water. But the restaurant is the reason I give only 3 stars. Food is not that good for amount of money you give. Wait a long time. We tried more meals and we weren't satisfied with either of them. I ate better dishes for that money. It's like a tourist price. I thought that everybody can do French fries, but those were quite disgusting.

We were looking for food in Maskeliya and locals recommended this place to us - coming to this restaurant was the best decision we made in the area! Wonderful food, perfect location, great staff!

Great view of sri pada / Adam's peak and maskeliya lake ( the sunken old maskeliyaTown) still can see it in summer specially when the draft... Clean rooms and good atmosphere.. balcony view was good.. Also people who are going to visit the submerged temple and old maskeliya Town in the lake, they can use the way behind this place and also enjoy a tea and snacks or food here before or after your visit. Price also looks reasonable..

We came to eat and they gave us the menu card as we used to order. When we order they told us that they didn’t had all the ingredients avocados but they could put some cucumbers instead we said ok. When we got the food the main ingredients was not in the food really bad but we eat it and didn’t complain. Then we ask for the bill and we paid. After we paid we wondered how it could be so expensive and we asked for the menu card again and we could see the bill was merely twice the price we called the waiter and asked her to explain the bill and she said that they didn’t make new menu cards and the price was raised that’s why the bill was doubled up and they didn’t give us anything back or approved. I am sure they scam all people so don’t go there.

Very nice place. Can see the top of the adams peak from there and the scene is beautiful. Food was delicious and very good. Parking is available for about 3 vehicles and there are 3 rooms to stay. The rooms are big,clean and maintained well. Only concern is the water supply from the hot water shower. It was slow and sometimes not working. They get most of the vegetables from the garden. Snacks and drinks also available there. Low price and good service. Friendly staff.

Spacious room, good bed .. but the rest were very ordinary. Rate of Rs 6000 per night (rate for locals) was a over charge for a room which didnt have a TV or a table. Staff were friendly and attentive

Lovely location and friendly staff , very clean and has maxing views

Its a beautiful place and the accomodation itself is clean and affordable. 4 starts simply because of the scenery. Food is yummy but only issue is if you need any additional services like having a BBQ, their help is very minimal. Also the food inclusion with BB, you don't get to choose. I had to talk back and forth for a while to get a decent meal sorted out which was a bit annoying. The lady in charge is friendly but her communication skills and overall service wasn't all that great. But if you're going just for the scenic accomodation and to eat whatever is given without any additional requirements, then this place is definitely worth checking out.

Had a really amazing experience with the view of the Adams peak right infront of the balcony. Even the moussakale lake is infront of the hotel, and the view is next level. The food is hiegenic and delicious. They offer a really good and friendly service. The rooms are clean and comfortable. P.s.- it includes a cot as well. Has hot water but TV isn't included. The breakfast is included for the package.
