I have attached photos of Gampola trains time table. Bus stand and town is just outside station. Taxi available outside for Ambuluwawa tourist. I used Uber in Gampola town. Checkout old flood levels from 1903 marked on a wall. Also see separate 20 foot pole marking higest flood in 1947. The station is nice and clean. Toilets and waiting room with good seats available. Easy to get into train because of new raised platform and wheelchair access ramp.

Gampola is located in the heart of the city. Easy to access. Very nice and clean place....

The Gampola railway station has been established around 1870 in British era with the main purpose of transporting Coffee, Cincona, Tea Upcountry to Colombo. Until recent there was a one platform and after 2016, another platform was built. You can get trains to Badulla, Pattipola, Hatton, Nawalapitiya station on up way. Also you can get trains to Kandy,Colombo,Matale on down way. There is very helpful staff.

Situated at Gampola Town. Nawalapitiya Kandy Road. Very useful to the area surrounding Gampola Town.

The service is not quick as in kandy railway station but on behalf of waiting to buy tickets standing all the other facilities are quite good,the staff is helpful, the railways are clean but i'm not sure how clean the toilets are because i have never went in. I think they might be clean because the railway station is overall clean and safe place.

Hystorical place in gampola Town. it has britainical architecture. Gampola Town usually sink before construting kothmale reserver. These flood's levels are displayed in this station since 1950.

Very quite place . very few gathering during the busy hours. Clean and tidy place. Not like other railway stations in Srilanka. Not much of a crowd.
