Had lunch at Thuruliya Hotel. Excellent location with views of few waterfalls and kotmale reservoir from distance. Food was great with exceptional customer service. Highly recommend!!!

It had an excellent view of the kotmale valley and lake. There is a waterfall which can be viewed from the hotel. These people knew how to pick a good spot to have a hotel

We went to Thuruliya Hotel in Ramboda for a drink while we were going to Nuwara Eliya. Hotel has an impeccable beautiful views. We had some juice and continued our journey. On the day returned, we stopped by to have the dinner, but were told that the restaurant had only buffet due to house full of guests. So we didn't have the dinner that day. Staff is nice and speak respectful with the guests and shows nice gesture. We need to say that they need to keep their good quality work. Good luck with the business.

Becarefull !! The experience if staying here is different with the pictures. As i attached some pictures, all the rooms are open to mosquitos and wild bees and even a bird can come. So you cant sleep at night and if you ask help, they cant do anything. They say it is not important !!

Very nice hotel with excellent food and very nice staff. My room was huge with a nice view of the valley. Kettle in the room but no tea or coffee. One bedside light had a broken plug. Big bathroom with a nice shower and very hot water. The wifi would come and go. Not good at all in my room but useable in the restaurant most of the time

Only went to the restaurant and the views alone were worth the visit. The great food and reasonable price were the cherries on top. Highly recommend this place!

(Experienced only the restaurant )We were there to have our lunch while we traveled from Nuwara Eliya to Colombo and this location is exceptionally wonderful. The restaurant was well maintained and very much the perfect place to have a peaceful meal experience during exhausted traveling along the road. Food is priced and expensive but valued enough for the service provided. The food was well served and the taste was also equally good. Considering all, This restaurant can be highly recommended for travelers.

We just ordered coffee so this isn't a substantial review of the place...however service was a little laggy and they gave us sweetened coffee with no seperate sugar when we requested it. A small mishap, don't mind it But the view was worth the sweet coffee.

I can only admire the beauty of the location. The towels and the bed linen had holes in them, telephone was not working to contact reception, hot water worked when solar powered, no tea cups, no tea, coffee, unclean floor, won’t make up the room even if requested, food was terrible and overpriced. We bought food from nearby hotel. Surely, I am not staying there again. Very poor quality service and if the management doesn’t consider improvements, the hotel will not thrive!!!

Located in a beautiful atmosphere. You can have a tea by looking at breath taking waterfall and mountains. Had milk coffee and orange juice. Orange juice was really good. Pure oranges with no added sugar or enhancers.

Rooms were spacious. It was not the standard room. There was only a kettle therefore we had no way to make tea or coffee.. It was the first time that I came across such a hotel without the basic amenities. We arrived around 8.30pm and to our surprise they announced us that their kitchen is going to close at 9. Never heard of a hotel which is fully booked having its kitchen closed at 9. The food was utterly disappointing.. either it had too much salt or too little.. Most of the food was inedible..since the kitchen was closed by the time we refreshed ourselves and came to eat we could not find a single person to ask for some sauce.. they only have beef and chicken. French fries were all soaked up.. Even though this is well rated in in the booking sight I would not recommend anyone to stay here..

Awesome location. Went for a evening coffee. Unfortunately they had only black coffee and milk cofee which cannot be recommended by the taste

Amazing hotel in the area. Rooms are very spacious and modern.. All rooms have a majestic private view of the Puna Ella waterfall. Staff is friendly and service is good.

I stayed with family on 17 and 18 Sep 2022 the worst hitel I ever stayed here or out side the country, nothing given from the promises they try to cheat us and over charge, hitel manager is the worst of all don’t know how to speak to a customer, food and services are very poor quality if any one checking make site all items are in working condition in ours toilets were not functioning phones not working fans not working they only cheat people

Even though our family members went to eat at thuruliya, after eating that food, we all felt sick and went to the toilet several times.That's why I'm saying don't go to this hotel to eat, it's very dirty. The place in this hotel is very familiar.

This place is tidy and clean but food are expensive and not worth the price. Unfortunately, 7out if 8 of us got siked after having fried rice from them. It's hard for me to recommend this facility.

Beautiful view but that was pretty much it. Everything we ordered was of poor quality and we ordered fish biryani without onions (allergy). It came with onions and they wouldnt let us cancel. Ten minutes later came a vegetarian biryani that had curry powder and small overcooked fish thrown on. Battered shrimp was ok, edible. Seafood mix grill was ok for the most part. Lime juice was warm and pure sugar. Would only recommend for the view and maybe a cup of coffew but we didnt try that. Good luck.

Unfortunately internat had bad quality. We didn't have a hot water but it was fixed in the short term time. Good meal, very friendly staff. Awesome landscape in window.

If you are a local tourist traveling with your family, this hotel might work for you. A family group can stay in one room. Realatively low price is am advantage. Food is average quality wise excellent view of the scenery is remarkable. The experience is average.
