Has a beautiful surrounding. Aberdeen falls is also seen in the view. View is superb. Food served is okay. Has both restuarant and stay facilities

Was there for a homecoming reception. Food was delicious, views magnificent, friendly staff. The carpark is a bit small, hence was disturbed in between meals to move my vehicle.

22 year old property run by locals. Basic facilities but they have a swimming pool in the middle of theor small tea estate. calm and quire place with friendly staff. Basic rooms with no A/C. No tea/cofee making facilities in the room (can order from the kitchen). No TV. No buffet. But large rooms with fans and good bathrooms. Popular among foreigners more than locals as the propert is owned by a German lady but now run by a local owner. Many stop here for lunch as their food is good. Prices are reasonable for the ful board stay too. They privide bed team and tea with breakfast. food to be selected from a-la-carte ,ene for all 3 meals. Not a busy place all the time. Sometimes the group of foreigners may come but they do not make trouble as locals. Can visit, Laxapana Falls with Seven Virgin Hills, DC martin air crash site with monumental tomb (27km from the hotel), double cutting zero mile post and the memorial monument with one of the wheels of DC matin air plane built by Norton bridge Police at Norton Bridge. Several roads to go to Laxapana and Seven hills from the property if you use Google maps. 28km to Kadiyanlena Falls at Nawalapitiya. On the way from Colombo, you can visit Beli Lena and the site of Bridhe on River Kwai nest to Bradland Hydro Power station (nothing to see there now). If you are a truely nature lover and want to explore Ginigathhena area with above, can stay in this hotel. But if you are the foodholic seeking for 5 star amneties, this is not the place.

Good food and friendly service.

Nice and calm place for a stay or a meal while travelling. The place is in the middle of a tea garden. The hotel itself has a history vibe to it. Nevertheless, not a royal place. The prices are above average, however, not ver expensive. Meals can be ordered as preferred. Dining space for about 50 people is available.

I haven’t stayed in the hotel, but visited there to have lunch. Great location. However, Food/ curry served were not freshly cooked and old food warmed in microwave oven and served. It was mostly visible from the taste and appearance.

The hotel is located in a tea plantation. The building looks like an old English mansion with 4 meters high floors and 230cm long beds. The staff is very nice, the food is good, the views are amazing! There is an outdoor pool and plenty of terraces. The WiFi didn't work (manager said they were struck by a lightning on April 12th) When we asked about hiking in the area they arranged us with an adventuring company for 8000lkr which gave us a guide to walk on a trail seen on Google maps. A total ripoff.

located on a top of a mountain. Has panoramic view surrounding. Has ample parking 🅿 space. Has a swimming 🏊 pool. Has hot ♨ water but no AC rooms. ( actually no need of AC) Staff is friendly. foods are tastey. Price is reasonable. Calming environment. Cleaning of the rooms satisfactory but can improve.

About 12 of us went for dinner. It was cosy and the views of the mountains were great! Seems like a nice place to get away for a weekend Jo did not stay at this hotel.

The hotel is a bit outdated but the rooms a spacious and the staff is friendly. The views are magnificent and the pool is very nice too. I really enjoyed walking around the garden and seeing all the plants

Whilst the room was nice and the view was good. The staff member or owner at the time was so nosey. We felt we had no privacy. He started looking around the room and at the balcony whilst we were having breakfast in our room. He would ask questions about what we were smoking and if we were drinking in the morning. When the door was open, he just came in without knocking or asking to take the dishes. He would just stand there and watch us. It was so weird. I have been in Sri Lanka a while and understand privacy is rare but this was another level! It was the last stay of our trip and made me feel glad to be leaving. The guy really is the only thing that ruined the hotel for us. Also the pasta was overpriced.

A wonderful place to have a different experience. You can be happy while enjoying the environment. Due to the location of the bath pool, you can have a new experience. Food is good. The staff is also good
