We hated our stay here and didn't get any sleep. The owners were the nicest people in the morning but wouldn't do anything for our problems in the night. Firstly there were huge amounts of construction work, we got off the train from Ella looking for a nap and only heard drilling and banging. Dont stay there until its complete. Secondly they keep a large dog on the balcony and hung his head out and barked, loudly all night. They would not shut it up. Thirdly the upstairs AC is the loudest thing ever. It is directly above your bed, there is no glass in the windows just slats. When it is on it cycles a horrid clanking noise at random intervals. They would not shut it up. I wouldn't stay until they get glass in the windows, the construction work is complete, the AC units are moved, upgraded and the dog is released to the streets.

I think owners should spend some money to upkeep the facilities. Bathroom bidet was broken, comod was shaky, bed linen had hair on it and was dirty so we had to ask for fresh sheets. Room smells damp with No AC on. Walls can use a fresh coat of paint. Its passable for the price. But low price should not mean bad quality. Sadly cant recommend.

Nice location with a great view. The service is wonderful and friendly. Air conditioning works perfect. Would highly recomend any one visiting Kandy. 👍👍👍

Very nice place, friendly host, great accommodations! Good location, and very comfortable beds. We really enyojed our stay at this place! There is a beautiful “Delight Reich Hotel", the owners are really friendly and the prices are very cheap. We also had a awesome dinner and breakfast together, just perfect! I would highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Peradeniya. Room is very useful than other nuwara eliya properties. Probably the best place we stayed at during our time in Sri Lanka! Room already booked during the convocation time at Paradeniya campus, hotel owner suddenly call me and cancelled the booking saying that there is a break down. No trust on hotel. When I check again the hotel available, same rooms for available at higher prices. They played a game with me well. Owners and management are not genuine, they will go th hell for money.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Hotel Delight Reach. The rooms were unkempt, the staff was unhelpful, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. The amenities promised were either non-existent or in poor condition. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel.

Bad smell and huge cocroaches!!! Have to ask for all necessities, including toilet paper. Wifi is very weak. Breakfast was terrible - bread and jam. Annoying and unpleasant.

It was nice experience to stay in Delight Reich Hotel.Facilities were excellent and service provided there was beyond our expectations.Food they provide was yummy and every thing was perfect... The room was clean and spacious with a lovely view.They were extremely helpful with our ongoing travels... Actually thank for Delight Reich Hotel owner and his wife...

I booked room three days ago and today they call me and saying that the room already booked and my order has been canceled. Never see a management like this and not genuine at all. Please guys beware with this hotel.

Comfortable beds with rooms. Non functional AC with noise. Dinner and breakfast uneatable and insufficient. They charge for drinking water separately

I wouldnt recommend this hotel. It looks gloomy and receptionist acts weird. If you are a solo traveler i wouldnt recommend it . Hope you guys search for something nicer.

One of the best hotel in the area as well as the room are in very good conditions. There are ac and non ac room available Non ac room are 2500/= Ac are 3500 above Thare are all 13 rooms available 9ac and 4 non ac Also the almost 5 vehicle can park on there park. they are rare beautiful rooms For couple as well. Recommended for family and friends

Great customer service, the owner & the staff were really friendly! Assisted us everytime we requested for some help. It's a nice location to stay the night and quite convenient to get to the popular destinations of the Central province such as Peradeniya & Kandy within 5 to 10 minutes.. The prices are reasonable & walking distance to Gannoruwa - Kandy main road. Highly recommended and looking forward to drop by again👍🏼

The worst experience ever had in Kandy. The sanitary conditions are very poor. The floor is sticky, and there was a leakage in the bathroom all the time. Towels and bedsheets are full of dirt and smelly. They did not even provide a piece of soap. Even though I asked for a room change, they did not allow it. Really disappointed with their careless customer service. I booked for two days, but I had to find another place for my second day since I could not stay there with its bad atmosphere. Except for lots of arguments, they did not even refund my money. Really disgusting. I do not recommend the place at all.

It was the worst decision stay in this hotel. Extremely bad service, high price for additional things (water, tea). Breakfast included to price but we don’t have breakfast.

Smiling thieves with hidden charges. Room smelling bad. Door key not locking fully, hot water not working, bathroom not clean and soup not changed....etc. But hidden charge is more than expected...
